  1. we still have the dumptruck for 14.99
  2. i found lots of these for free in a toyshop a while ago. i took a few but i never really used them. i tried them out, but they only worked for small plates. i usually use other bricks to get plates seperated from other pieces. that works a lot better. Basically, to me, these brick separators are useless.
  3. sam, about the b-wing and a-wing... are those new versions, like the second falcon, or are they upgrades of the old sets, like the imperial inspection? i don't see why we need just another Slave 1. don't we already have two different versions?
  4. to be honest, i'm a bit suspicious as well. these serial numbers don't make any sense. 62? the last series ended well into the 72's. i don't see tlc changing to a lower series just like that. i don't see the logic in that. right now, this looks like a rumour to me. i hope Sam's sources will be able to confirm the release of these sets asap...
  5. thanks, jipay another question, languages. any clue on how big this ucs is?
  6. we're also very lucky in Belgium... for once :P i just visited a few toyshops and it seems the dump truck has arrived. Intertoys sells this for only 14.99
  7. so you finally gave in, languages? good... very good... i'm puzzled by the news of the new sets: a ucs jedi starfighter, you say. Do you mean the yellow starfighter of ep3, the red and white starfighter of ep2 or another version of the original starfighter? what's a RCX brick? what do you mean with "a remote controlled" train system? are you talking about a new train, or a new electronic system, that includes new rails and stuff?
  8. isn't there a lego-requirement on brickshelf? i also believe there's a backing system that controls posts before they're allowed on brickshelf. so if only lego is allowed, it should have dismissed this... however, selling megablocks or whatever for lego is becoming a new trend, so it seems... ebay tried to sell the mageblock firetruck for lego a while back... i'm afraid non-informed people will fall for this...
  9. oops... sorry sarg... it doesn't matter anyway, cos soon you'll be spending the rest of your life in a stinking cell, sitting in between rotting corpses, being haunted by Cliff for the rest of your life, somewhere on a practically from the fleet retired ISD. you will slowly be consumed by his cruel voice and dito music. and as you can see, there's already no capital in your name... it's just sarg, nothing more... in the end, you will even forget your own name, you will forget all about "g" and "q", you will feel as if one braincell after another gives up... and turns out the light... the last thing you'll hear is the crying voice of this other rebel, Languages... Then, when all this has passed, you will be like all the other captains of Lord Vader... :P :P
  10. i very much agree with this...
  11. i guess most of you have seen the train models on brickshelf, like these: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=73681 there are a few others as well... if only TLC were to produce trains like these i could even get my father (a model train fan) into lego trains... but this one must be one of the very best train models i have ever seen: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/UR/E-Lok...wiss/002be4.bmp sure, he manipulated the parts a bit, so a real model would have minor changes but i'd still go for it... i'm thinking a "ucs train series" with a couple of these beauties...
  12. could you guys explain to us how the procedure of this game is going to work?
  13. 1) i have to agree with the pirate, many of these hp-parts are quite useless to me, for instance: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?P=33215 or the keys, these weird figs like Hagrid, ... then there are these creatures like that snake, the spider,... 2) sure, there are many plates and bricks as well, but you find those in every theme... i feel that these parts aren't really created to build a model but to support the storytelling of the model in question. 3) these special hp-parts are simply not compatible with the space or sw theme, making them useless for me...
  14. oh no... that makes him immune, doesn't it? i mean, Sarq has obviously been treated against this kind of torture when he was young... G... his masters must be extremely clever, realising that their enemy might one day use Richard against him... Honourable Emperor... might i suggest you add to this concert the following names: Engelbert Humperdinck; Tom Jones and the Ray Conniff Singers? i fear that only together they will be trong enough to bring this sarq to his knees...
  15. its TLG, The Lego Group; we're all just writing TLC. it's a bad habit...
  16. yeah... Phes is still a young Padewan... :P still learning the power of the force... still learning to control his powers... :P :P
  17. just a question. who are these Lego affliates jake is talking about?
  18. in fact, many of us didn't ask for one, but Yoda simply can't help it. :P :P these titles are personnal, so yoda needs time to get to know you just a bit, but "impatient newbie" might be a good start :P but i can't give you that title... i don't have jon's powers :P
  19. i also received the news. i guess what Christian is saying is that you get the mini arc if you buy the large arc... that's new to me... i think...
  20. thanks for all your work, J you're right, that back side looks so good you'd almost think this can't be the work of TLC :P but look... it is :oo the roof has great potential for greeblies the wheel mechanism looks a lot like the system we had in the good old days... so we do have a back to basics model with this crawler. does the crawler ride very well, or is it most of all a static model?
  21. i sure hope jipay knows what he's doing ... phes an administrator now... do the words "pandora's box" mean anything to you, jipay? :P
  22. i remember every part of Perth!! what a paradise!! i remember the shopping mall and the zoo very well, but i can't remember having seen a TRU there. i wasn't really focused on lego at that point. it was a business trip, so my mind was on other things. i went to Broome, Freemantle and Argyle diamond mine as well, saw the dutch shipwrecks in the museum there... :oo from Perth straight to Canberra, Melbourne and Sidney. visited lots of musuems, gardens, parliaments,... had a great time... i was mostly intruiged by the aussie wildlife. we all know these weird animals from photos, but it's great to see kangaroes, coala's, lizards,... for real, not just in a zoo, but in the wild... i also remember the belgian pub, in Perth... :P :P i did buy other stuff there, but mostly in Sidney and everything was on sale there, except for the shoes. they were very expensive, for some reason... bought some dvd's there for no money at all... iother stuff was a bit cheaper because of the lower Aussie dollar, but money wasn't a problem whatsoever, cos i didn't have to pick up hotel bills and plane tickets... :P
  23. no no no... i landed "like a thief in the night", just an hour after midnight or so... coming from Singapure... finding a belgian in a group asian people was obviously not what they expected... :P in fact, they were very strict. they almost told me to call my contact in Perth... asking me for proof that i was in Perth on invitation,... than they asked me if i'd taken food with me,... then filling in all sorts of papers... "what are you doing here", "when will you leave", "how many days will you be in perth?",... things you really don't want go through after many hours of being on a plane, waiting in Singapure airport,...
  24. well... wasn't it on an island over there? SPOILERS!!! Hightlight to read, but only AFTER you've post what you know: -->where was it? it did die because of bad treatment, right? and when did it die?<-- i bought a t-shirt with the creature on it in Sidney's Museum for Natural history, or something.... but i never wore it, it was too small... i keep it as a memory... i probably saw a dead example there. in any case, the info i have, comes from my trip to australia... I don't think many people in Belgium have any clue what you're talking about... they'll say it's just another tiger. SPOILERS!!! --> it doesn't look like a tiger at all, tho. <--
  25. yeah... that's only possible if i were to go back to Perth, spend the holidays there and return to belgium a week, month,... later... i mean, i have a flight ticket and hotel to pay as well... so i better get the most out of my trip... besides, i've already missed the best part of the year... however, i could save some money if i'd buy my return ticket in australia... there's also customs and, yes these people give you a hard time in Perth... very suspicious people...
