Yakuza Family - Confirmation and Discussion

Lynch him! -
I'll be on US Southwest, but it'll be like 20-30 minutes before I can get on.

Yeah, my problem was that I could barely stand in one spot long enough to pick it up. There were a lot of baddies around that bag...I Nexus'd out as soon as I managed to stick it in my inventory. EDIT: Running late on our meeting.
-
I'll try to be on around then, assuming something else doesn't come up. I've actually managed to live to Level 4 now, and I just picked up this sweet-looking gray robe thing from a random dude I teleported to, he got killed by a caveman looking thing and I picked it off.

Maybe try rebalancing it for each scroll? Sealing is less gamebreaking than Blindness, which is less gamebreaking than Confusion, etc. Unfortunately, that would require more work for you. Hmm...well, if you need to run some test battles, I'm your guy.

LegoFlipz is a fail wizard, but I'm in nonetheless. :P

Heroica RPG - Quest #17: The Lion's Share
Flipz replied to Brickdoctor's topic in The Heroica Archive
"Well met, Master Delvergrow! I'm Count Lewis Knyghton, an Engineer in service of the Lion Knights. I've been working with Master Arthur, Master Harkenshire, and Master Alexandre to develop the siege weaponry you see here. Mistress Isabella, Master Arasmyth and, before his episode, Master Bitterstalk have been instrumental in operating this weaponry, and Masters Althior and Xander have been instrumental in these battles, keeping them at bay by force of will and personal fortitude alone. Master Arthur is resting at the moment, and so I shall endeavor to represent his interests in this situation, just as Luke over here has done for Master Althior, who is also resting. Although," he continues with a chuckle, "I'd highly recommend you get some rest as well, friend Luke. Your Ether is surely quite low, and we need all the healing we can get in this battle to come." He returns his attention to the Barbarian. "In any event, just let me know of any defensive array you can think of, and I'll see to it that it's constructed to the highest standards of quality." Count Knyghton suddenly notices Helm's gaze come to rest upon the tattered Lion Knight emblems, ripped from spare uniforms, that had been hastily tacked onto most of the siege weaponry. "Er--to the best of our ability, anyway." He smiles widely. "Welcome to the team, lad!" OOC: And people say you can't deliver a Wall of Text while your character's asleep. -
Hmm...how about I get the Quinjet and Cosmic Cube Escape, then I get everyone I want ANd have both versions of Iron Man! *sees prices* god I need a decent job.

Oy. Lag is back. I clicked the link to this topic at 4:03 and it's now 4:05 as I type this. If I click submit just at 4:06, the new page should load up at about 4:08.

Just fixed itself for me, though I was getting the same issues. IE9 with Windows 7. The smileys seemed to be the source of the problem, everything else was loading right up.

Doc, I will never face you in the Arena. Ever! Ooh, and today's the day for the Quest 17 new member to be chosen! Quick, everyone from Quest 14, sign up, it's a free experience boost and the battle won't take THAT long!

BAP, regarding your chess match in the Hall: you gon die, bro. Sloop's meticulous and cunning, you're going to think you've got him on the ropes, and then he'll politely tap you on the shoulder and hand your rear to you.

The ASHPD is a bit...dinky...but the rest of it looks GREAT! I love the turrets, those are PERFECT! Now build a Frankenturret. How exactly did you build the weighted storage cube? Also, is there any chance you could build an "action shot" MOC with active portals? (I.E. you'd build the scene, have a portal on two walls and then build two bit of the same scene, from different perspectives, to be visible through the portals.)

Damn, Powersuit Lex is going to be a must-have thanks to the CS8 shoulder piece. That's gonna be expensive. Ooh, loving Hawkeye's new bow mold! Can someone refresh my memory, is there a way to get Hawkeye, Iron Man, and Thor in the same set? (I know Thor and Mark 7(?) Iron Man come in the plane set, I can't remember if it's Hawkeye or someone else with them.)

Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread
Flipz replied to Lance's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
For the love of Spinjitsu, Mark. The. Episode. Above. The. Spoiler. And to think I almost made it to the end of the season spoiler-free. Also, if you're speculating, there's no need for a spoiler, as it's just speculation. (That's why I even opened this one at all, I was expecting further speculation, not an actual spoiler. )- 4,591 replies

Uh, I think a mother was needed at one point... Anyway, this belongs in the show discussion now.

No, it's more about knowing who Colonel Rhodes turns out to be, and the little "next time" line he makes toward the end, the identity of the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement, and Logistics Division, that sort of thing. (Admittedly, I failed to catch that until the reveal at the end, but I still went "squee" when it did happen.)

Heroica RPG - Quest #17: The Lion's Share
Flipz replied to Brickdoctor's topic in The Heroica Archive
"I believe we're decided, gentlemen. Unless the probie new recruit has any more ideas when they arrive, I think we'll be as prepared as we can be. All that remains is to choose our positions and prepare for battle. Master Arasmyth, Master Alexandre, if you two don't want to try infiltrating the Elven camp alone, I'd suggest that Master Arasmyth should rest, and everyone else should take their positions. Although...say, do you have any of that hay left? Master Arthur wrote it down in that journal of his--oops, was I not supposed to have read that? Anyhow, Master Harkenshire's idea is sound, if a bit impractical for the fort--but we have other things that could use protection. I'm going to cover the most vulnerable parts of all our siege weapons with hay for protection." -
I am super stoked about the Avengers movie, in part because I'm FINALLY getting around to watching the individual movies of each Avenger now. I just watched Iron Man yesterday, and was pleasantly surprised at how many of the Shout Outs I "got", considering just how casual a comic book fan I am (read: owns exactly one Marvel comic book, a gift from my uncle). I kinda wish the LEGO Superheroes sets had started when I was younger, I might have gotten into comics more if that had been the case.

*Ahem.* Let's move on to some more neutral topics, shall we? Like the fact that all of the ninjas' parents need to be released in physical form. Random civilians I can deal with not having, but characters integral to the plot with NO good facial options? Unacceptable. Let's start clamoring now so the Ambassadors tell TLG to put out a "Ninjago Family Pack" set of some kind. Actually, exclusive family member minifigs would be good draws for a Ninjago advent calendar...hmm...

Cronk signs up for the Quest. QUEST COMPLETE! Party leader, how will the spoils be divided? - x1 the Internet

Wow, that is epic! Great F4 customs, really likin' The Thing and Human Torch! I can't comment much on Galactus, I'm a bit unfamiliar with him ( ), but isn't he supposed to be purple or something? (If it's a parts thing, I totally understand, otherwise chalk it up to just being a casual fan of the characters.)
