  1. Wait, that means I DON'T suck!
  2. According to my mad Mafia-induced forum stalking skills Masked's profile, Masked Builder hasn't been online since 5:11 AM PST yesterday. I hope Masked is OK...
  3. Anyone want to clue me in on the Mafia this refers to?
  4. "Hail and well met, lord Emperor! It is an honor to meet you, your majesty. Arthur Justus Regulus, the Seventh, Mage of Heroica." Arthur bows respectfully, and falls uncharacteristically silent, waiting politely for the Emperor's response. Count Knyghton gives Arthur an odd look, then quickly returns his attention to the Emperor and inclines his head respectfully. "Count Lewis Knyghton, Engineer for tha Lion Knights, your, uh, your majesty." He stumbles over the greeting, shooting Arthur a dirty look for making things so formal. "Ya know I'm not much for tha formal stuff, Arthur!" Arthur blushes, but remains silent and respectfully attentive to the Emperor.
  5. Mostly because if I tried to figure out more than one "favorite" I'd be here all day (actually, that wouldn't be too bad... ): 13) Outpost Raid (Intergalactic Girl) Entry (Build by Oky)-3 points Really nice builds, everyone!
  6. Well, I was going to split this between two entries, but seeing as my favorite really needs some love... 38) Sleepyhead Entry (Masked Builder)-3 points It's simple, it's clean, and I just REALLY like the aesthetic. Special mention to Oky's and Cecilie's entries, which would have gotten 1 point each if I had split my vote. And great job everyone! Your builds are amazing.
  7. A question about the tri-Quest: will it be possible for more than one of these three Quests to succeed? Or will victory for, say, Quest 30 prevent success in Quests 29 and 31?
  8. Arthur meditates while he waits for the Admiral's response. He decides to take the time to look over his Scrolls, so he is familiar with them if the time came to use them. "I wish there were more of these..." he murmured. He wonders how the other Heroes were doing, and who was finally picked for Quest 29. He hoped it wasn't anyone he'd regret killing later...he couldn't shake the feeling that the many Heroes now headed for Dastan were all fated for combat. "Admiral, what's the hold-up? We need to wait for the grass wheat to grow?"
  9. And if all of them die you'll hunt down all of the QMs who are obviously conpiring against you Ignore this, blame Waterbrick Down, he knows the character I'm channeling here. Hey, Doc, any chance Thrawn Thraune will talk to Arthur or does he have a magical lizard that automatically Seals all mages and clerics in the area? EDIT: Have I mentioned it's hard for me not to get to see Pie and Tanma roleplaying? Really, really hard?
  10. Uh, anctually, I didn't know that. Was it mentioned in the first or the last novel of the trilogy? If not, in the second book (the one I haven't been able to find in bookstores)? Or was it only from the technical maunals? Also: did you create the Lion Knights just so they could be associated with the legendary creature chimaera just so you could make that joke?
  11. "Then lead the way to the Chimaera, Admiral Thrawn Thraune! Perhaps while we sail you can explain to me in detail this new warship's capabilities?"
  12. In private, he really seemed to be fishing for my role. Between that, and not knowing a few basic things about the rules (I'd have to look them up again to remember what), I figured he was Scum. Then someone suggested to me that "perhaps he didn't read through his role PM because he had a juicy role" and that's when I guessed Scum Blocker.
  13. Rumblemancer, Strikemancer, Rumble Strikemancer... Hey, you're right, it DOES sound really cool!
  14. I think that might be Voltomancer, though I may be thinking of a Latin root instead. Actually, what WOULD be the Latin version of "mancy"?
  15. This is a Brickdoctor Quest. He reads Darths and Droids. It's a tradition.
  16. "Sir Leofard. I agree, but better the evil known than the one unknown. It Lyonel turns out to be the traitor, he could do much greater harm to us than Leofard could. In any event, the die is cast, the decision made."
  17. Actually, it's been well-established that Shield is "better" than Critical Hit when it comes to Luck, regardless of whether it's tactically the better choice or not...
  18. Consider this an official sign-up, until the real deal is posted. 1. I just recently graduated from Mafia School: A Bedtime Story, where as Doctor I led the Town to disaster. I really, really need to redeem myself. 2. I want to join this game because, a.) I love Star Wars, a quick look into the official EB Star Wars topic will show that I'm even obsessed to train with a lightsaber regularly, and b.) because Hinckley's interested, and I so want to have an epic theatre play duel with him. 3. My favorite Star Wars character? Hmm, that's a tough one. I think I'd have to go with a three-way tie between Mara Jade (naturally), Jaina Solo (AFTER the NJO angst was over with, of course), and Mirta Gev (*SPOILER*: Boba Fett's granddaughter).
  19. "Sir, what else can you tel me about the Dastan Empire? What sort of terrain is there? What are the major towns and villages? Are there any significant individuals (besides the Emperors, of course) we should know about? What of the Emperors, what do they look like and what are their names? Do you have any available portraits or sketches of the rebels, so we may be able to recognize them? Oh, and did the Rebels steal anything before they left?" "Oh, once those questions are answered, I will be ready to go."
  20. Holy cow, most of us are in there! Cinderella, Snow White, Red Riding Hood, and Sleeping Beauty have barely changed, Pinocchio and Little Mermaid are slightly updated from their original look. Charming uses, I think, the same face and hair, just a different outfit, and Goldilocks, Mr. Bear, Puss-In-Boots, and Big Bad Wolf are all completely different. Have you been working on this Mafia School concept ever since then...?
  21. I would think not, in most cases it doesn't apply to the other Status effects. Poison is the only thing I've ever seen stack with itself, and then only because the specific moster allowed for that; I believe the consensus was that normally poison (and, by extension, other effects) wouldn't stack. Besides, it would make those Scrolls WAY OP for the Arena; as-is, without stacking, they're (mostly) fine. Also, can I request anyone that's on B&P's Quest who has the spare Gold to buy an extra Scroll for Arthur? He'll pay 150% base cost for each Scroll, which is basically 75 gold each.
  22. We all passed, except for Lord of the Fries.
  23. If there are extra copies, buy one of each, and Arthur will buy them from you!
  24. OOC: Wow, epic fail on my part, I've been calling Leonard "Lawrence" all this time. "In truth, I felt the same way, except about the beard. It's a goatee you have to watch out for. It doesn't seem like a goatee...does it?" Arthur examines Leofard's beard to determine if it is just a beard or if it truly is a goatee. He also checks the ceiling for traps and spies. Turning to Leonard, he adds, "I feel we have almost reached our decision, however, there is one last matter to discuss." He turns back to Skrall. "How do you feel about slightly lessening our own force to put a secret guard on Leofard, Leofwena, and Lyonel? I feel we can handle ourselves in a fight, and that this added protection could prove the difference between a victorious battle yet a failed Quest and a failed battle yet a victorious Quest. I believe we are all in agreement about Leofard being in command, we simply have to decide whether or not to dispatch the snipers to watch them, just in case."
