Nope, I didn't buy any LEGO during the Thanksgiving-Christmas season. I was quite sad about it, too, which is why I ended up spending VIP points in early January.

Are you kidding, that's the best reason to keep them alive! Those three (plus Triad, whose storylines will never be explored now... ) represent the best of the Wren storylines, past, present, and future. Why on earth would you want to end that?!? Or are you just looking to continue your plot-ending rampage?

Since when have the enemies we wanted to fight dropped loot this Quest?

...IF I didn't linger too long in my own task. Knowledge is power...but I can't say anything more until the opportune moment. Don't make the wrong choice here.

I severely cut my LEGO purchases due to lack of money (though I've saved up a fair bit and plan to make another big purchase soon during the double VIP points period), but I still got a keychain. I SHOULD point out that I recently redeemed a batch of VIP points, perhaps that has to do with the criteria to recieve one of these? In any event, I'm VERY happy to learn of the double points period, I was starting to fear I wouldn't be able to hold out until the next one.

If I can find an artist for some special effects, my Cathedral Quest will be awesome; if not, it'll still be awesome, but with slightly less awesome character designs since I'd have to draw said characters. Either way, though, Doc has made some AMAZING builds, you are in for a treat.

Vonnetate, Lyons, and Zander are the only really bad ones on that list...we had a chance to kill Zander, but we gave it up to Zane. The rest of those characters are/were interesting and nuanced, yes they sided against the Heroes, but they all had their reasons (XX is the Honorable Killer for Hire, a la Shelley De Killer, U'Vires was fighting for his people and picked the wrong side, Sphinx...is a young Jeff Bridges who is perpetually stoned ( ) and yet still spits out nuggets of wisdom, and Zane...he's a man of favors. If you can get him to owe you one, it's a solid investment. He isn't good or bad, he's one of the most squarely Neutral characters we've seen in Heroica. All of these are people we (or at least I) would like to see more of. Vonnetate, of course, is clearly being kept around to torment us, it'll make his punishment all the more sweet when it finally happens.

Ah. Well, then, I heartily recommend it, it is free after all, and there are a lot of great ideas amongst the clever and enticing story segments. Why do you hate XX so much? He himself was hardly even an annoyance in Dastan, it's his hired help that's the problem. We need to get him to hire us instead of the Bombsters. Seriously, though, I would totally go for that Quest.

I would make a full-out stop-motion film studio and sets to translate the EB Heroica RPG into tv show format. Or at least, enough bricks to build all of the Quest sets and characters at once.

Lawrence Kasdan wrote the original Raiders of the Lost Ark, which is reassuring for me. I'm actually more confident in the quality of these spin-offs than I am of Episode VII itself.

Has anyone here played a web browser game called Fallen London? Formerly known as Echo Bazaar? (I'm talking to everyone, but also specifically asking Sandy and Scubacarrot, as there's a character in that game--the Last Honest Constable--with an eerie similarity to Captain Patricia. )

I'm so excited to see and watch this, which makes it all the more sad that I own zero FABULAND sets or parts or figures. That said, I can't wait to see all our fantastic FABULAND builders outdo themselves!

And people say I write Walls of Text. Well, at least I got SOME kind of IC conversation going with the NPCs, I don't feel SO bad. I'm definitely coming back for the next set of battles, and I'll try my damndest to not have to Flee, so hopefully a chance for some interaction with my fellow party members again. *removes Atramor's name from list of "best character optimizer" candidates* If you MUST sell it, give it to someone without Ether, since Ether-users can just use a Scroll of Frailty and not risk damage or specials (albeit at the cost of Free Hit targetting). Actually, Pie, you're one of the best character optimizers...for other peoples' characters.

What about minifigs? Does rendering minifigs separately in lower detail improve render times as well? Also, I'm a little confused on how exactly I would go about this step-by-step, could someone explain to me exactly what setting or settings I need to change from render to render?

Well, yeah, but that would have given justification looks-wise to bringing in Hayden What's-his-face for the later movies.
