  1. In-house competiton between Marvel and Pixar?
  2. Even if it actually happens, you'll probably have to pay a quarter every time you reload your gun.
  3. Only if you're wearing the Kanohi Mask, which you're not at the moment.
  4. "Something tells me that associating with the Guild would end...rather poorly for me. I don't know what it is, but I'm trusting my instincts on this one. I really would enjoy the opportunity to fight alongside you again, though."
  5. Arthur slowly nodded at Dyric's words. Something still ticked away within him, but the Assassin's words rang close to the truth. "Aye. You're right. I fight for my friends. There's little I wouldn't do for them." It wasn't a cause, nor a mission...but perhaps it didn't have to be. Arthur saw a new Quest on the board...for the Guild of Invision. "I don't suppose anything could be too bad after Wren," he muttered. He reached for a pen--there was little else to do in the Hall these days--but something held him back. Something inside of him protested when he went to put ink to page, and it was that voice he listened to. Seeing the old drunkard bothering a Raider at the bar, Arthur returned to his table with Dyric, quietly enjoying the company of a friend. He looked to Alexis and sent her a smile as well. Dyric's right. This is what I'm fighting for. I don't need anything else.
  6. I think that's the most apt description anyone has ever given a Zepher Quest, ever.
  7. Arthur watches the gnome scuttle away energetically. He had been that carefree, once. Wandering around carelessly, tripping people with his staff...hell, he didn't even want to think about some of the tall tales he had spun of his homeland. He had thought Hero-ing would be an adventure, that it would help him forget. He knew better now. It just gave him more to remember. He sees Dyric come in to the Hall and motioned for the Assassin to join him at his table. Still waiting on his meal, his thoughts turn back to the past. "Brother..." he begins, but stops, unsure of how to express his thoughts. A memory...he returns to the words of their recent past. "What do I stand for?"
  8. Agreed, I likely would have aimed for Alchemist, if my character wasn't, you know, related to the Zeigfrieds.
  9. "You were the one who wanted a gemstone, eh?" Arthur shook his head. "Imbued gems aren't too helpful for a Cleric like yourself. 'Specially one fresh out the gate. Why don't you try out a Scroll instead? Blindness, Frailty, and Sealing are all popular choices, but none of 'em are anything to sneeze at, as I can well attest." Arthur indicates the small library of parchment spilling from his bag, and holds out 50 Gold temptingly in front of the gnome.
  10. Arthur passes Hoke on his way back into the Hall and nods respectfully. The two had had their differences, of course, but Arthur hoped that they would not linger. Out of all the Heroes Arthur had fought Wren alongside, the Mystic Knight and the Metasimian were the only two with whom his standing was a total mystery. Arthur sighed. He wished Skrall was around. The ogre seemed to have a clearer head for these things than he did. Still wondering about his former Questmates, Arthur sits down at a lonely table and waits for Dyric.
  11. "Good show, Brother. It appears my strategy was ill-founded. I'm heading back to the Hall for some food, care to join me?" Arthur returns to the Hall.
  12. Ha ha ha! I was right! Haldor was acting scummy! Though I also saw Alexis was acting a little suspiciously as well...I wonder if she was hiding something, too?
  13. The funny thing is, De'kra and Arthur started it; it's from BIONICLE. ...but now forevermore I will imagine Dyric with Desmond's voice and accent.
  14. Actually, Both of those should just count as 'Failure', so I should be at 16 Health. Arthur repeats his earlier actions.
  15. WARNING: Portal 2 (Aperture Science) spoilers ahead.
  16. Wait until the double points periods (like the one lasting until April 8th)--you end up getting a LOT back in rewards. Also, buying at the Downtown Disney LEGO Stores while having a valid pass for the appropriate Disney park also offers a 10% discount on your entire purchase--which ends up saving a LOT over the long run.
  17. Ah, OK. In that case, would my Cloak of Deception give me a 1/6 chance that opponent attacks hit the opponent instead of me?
  18. I was just looking through my Artifacts and figuring out my available Arena strategies, and I have a question: how do Free Hits work in the Arena? Do they work the same as in Quests, or...?
  19. Arthur uses his Scroll of Blindness on Dyric from the Back Row. If successful, he swings Sir Roderic's Sword physically from the Front Row, otherwise he tries his Scroll of Blindness on Dyric from the Back Row again.
  20. It's funny because that's sort of where Arthur is, only not really because Byblos said he needed to find his own way.
  21. Building sets is a LOT harder than most players give their QMs credit for. Also, go poke Brickdoctor. I just spent a day making a floor plan and hallway for my Quest, I need feedback from him and WBD. Channeling someone?
  22. "I, Arthur Justus Regulus VII (Flipz), challenge Dyric Rone (The Legonater) to a duel!" Before battle, Arthur equips his Robes of the Archmagi, Ancient Crown, and Lens of Speed-Reading and slots a Potion into his Hollow-Blade Dagger.
  23. Yeah, I knew that when I gave you the 50 for Docken, but did it anyway because it's an interesting character trait I wanted to encourage. ...well, that, and I wanted to troll Doc.
  24. Arthur strolls into the Marketplace, pleased to see Elphaba's wagon sitting there once more. "Two scrolls of Frailty and one of Weakening, please." Sliding 150 Gold over the counter, he adds, "It is good to see a friendly face. They seem to be growing rare these days." He seems as if he has more to say to the witch, but she slides his purchases to him before he can speak further. Accepting the worn parchment with a nod, he sets off back in the direction of Heroica Hall. 1842 - (50 * 3) = 1692 gold
  25. Arthur still stood, his fingers itching for a gemstone, but carefully keeping his urges in check. "Do not test me again, old man," he tells the Rogue. "Care for a bout in the Arena? I have a few purchases to make, and then I will join you there."
