I'm surprised Pie was (to my knowledge) the first to come up with and use the idea, and even more surprised no other QMs (again, to my knowledge) have played with the concept since then.
-
Now, what would you say to consumable venoms that only last for a single battle? Along the lines of Pie's Noxious Venom, but for various different Effects? I.E.: Draught of Living Death - Consumable, venom. When applied to a weapon, that weapon will deal the Fast Asleep-effect (the enemy is unable to act for six rounds unless it is woken up by an attack) for one battle.

What is the name of that stealth starfighter set? The last set in the group, the one with the guy with that transparent arm?
-
Oh, ha ha, pretending that statement isn't referring to you.
-
Unh-uh, I'm not turning on my party again.
-
Ghlrk...! Then why did you attach Hinckwell rep?!
-
That's not right; if they've already acted, Hexed doesn't automatically grant them an extra turn.
-
Actually, WHEN the formatting is consistent between all the characters, it's a lifesaver; when I ran that round in 48 for you, I updated all the party members in real-time, which (with the exception of Galen's friggin' Gold ) kept me safe from making mistakes and actually alleviated most of my headaches. The moral of the story? Format consistently! (And format it the way I do. ) I don't have anything more to add, but this needed to be quoted. For truth.

Think I've got a slightly better revenge card in my hand, but I won't be able to play it until my third or fourth Quest (due to having to set up NPCs and story and mechanics and the like). And unlike most "QM revenge schemes", mine will not only be revenge, but it will actually be mechanically fair and necessary AND will make perfect sense WITHIN the storyline! ...that and mine will make all parties involved incredibly happy; they will get their megablocks kicked, and they will ENJOY and be GLAD it happened. Me and maths get on fine, I just don't have the time to build.

Ooh, if Jun equips that Noble Mask, does that mean he'll gain 108 Gold at the end of the continuous battle?
-
...? I'm a bit confused as to what you are referring to. Ladies and gentlemen, Carly Swift. Oh, and for the record, Carly HAS indeed been around the Theatre since Grogmas, there is at least one Hero who has had an interaction with her around that time.
-
I will freely admit, my character idea for Carly Swift didn't really blossom into what it is until I saw Flare's NPCs. My roleplay guide for her basically reads "what would Flare do? + sing parodies of the most awful pop culture songs possible". ...aaaand now you know where I got her name. Was going to wait to do that. Ah well.

Scuba, I present this video to you and anyone else interested in the issue, and then let's drop it. My final thought: Doc, Pie, and Sandy are all masters of this.
-
Eh, true, but 1/5 (the current cap) seems to be pushing it when you consider the number of battles in an average Quest.
-
Level 40 DOES have an extra artifact slot, but that's still kind of "meh". Would be a good spot for the second char. Let's see how Cronk does with 1/4 level increases, but I'm inclined to believe that 1/3 level is a good cap. We might end up turning into a Skinner-fest past Level 30 otherwise.

@ Q48: Not shown: "Om nom nom nom...thinks he doesn't serve a god, does he? Hehehehehe...nom nom nom..."

Please. We all know next April will be the first month of "April Fool's Year Decade Century Millennium."

Actually, they DO stack, which means that even though he's Hexed, he has a 50% chance to attack the enemy party (I think). They definitely do NOT cancel each other out, though. Also, you've got eleven days. Should be PLENTY of time if the other areas are any indication, and if Kintobor sticks to the 24 hour rule (if someone hasn't posted in 24 hours, they are assumed to agree with the Party Leader).

Good to hear you're coming back! Any chance you'll be rejoining Heroica? I hear Haldor has found a new gal...

Arthur feels the glow of energy as De'kra writes in the Journal. Would he answer? Arthur thinks. What harm can it cause? But I must be wary. Closing the book for what might well be the final time, Arthur retreats outside the Hall once more, pausing but once to glance at the Elven Assassin he loves. A single tear runs down his cheek, but he quickly turns away, hoping that neither Alexis nor the Elf she was speaking with had noticed him at all.
-
Arthur. What are you doing? Arthur. Stahp! *Sigh* Well, if he insists on making a self-destructive decision, at least I hope it's interesting... EDIT: Wow, I completely misused that meme. Fix'd.
-
Exactly. Add to that that Humanoids are the most common enemy type and Undead are usually the most troublesome, and you've got a pretty sweet deal going on. Also keep in mind, for weapons with special effects, it's even more important that the weapon be able to hit as many enemies as possible. ESPECIALLY for something like the Cat O' Nine Tails, where hitting everything is the entire point.
-
Right. So that means, if the weapon isn't transferring its effects, then it isn't actually hitting all of the enemies, so the enemies shouldn't wake up if they're Asleep. IMO.
-
Yeah...yeah, I guess tanks really do belong more in support than in offensive. If I get a minute, I'll fix my earlier post. If that's the case, it shouldn't wake sleeping enemies. Either it hits all the enemies or it doesn't!

Speak for yourself. I'm not a huge fan of it for Ninjago specifically, but I personally like the designs. Shame they can't be official LEGO, tho...
