Just compared you to our other two Berserkers, Tensi and Tarn. You...I hate to say this, but you would destroy Tensi in a fight at the moment, and Tarn is only a threat thanks to Stun...and even then, he'd be dealing scratch damage. That said, Tensi has quite the advantage on you in terms of Gold, so once Pep read this she'll probably optimize against you.

Didn't have time to answer this yesterday, but: remember, Arthur turned himself in, and there's no evidence that Arthur killed Gnash or Bennetton (because he didn't--not directly). Still, I'm surprised no one other than CallMePie and Zepher commented, actually--everyone was concerned when Arthur walked out the door, but no one is worried about him now. Doesn't anyone remember Quest 23? For shame! I find it ironic--the two Heroes to reach Level 30 first are the two least interested in their available Expert Class options. I don't think Docken has any EC's available, actually. Still, there's 5 people in the Fields party--surely ONE of them will succumb to the siren call of the Level-Up shrooms. Meanwhile, Arthur's probably going to have 4 different EC's available if he makes it to that level. I guess he just likes learning the secrets of the big organizations across Uland. I think what he's trying to say is, if the Heroes had fled from the Nemo-Reno battle, Nemo and Hestia would have died; there might not have been a battle to go back to, because the Heroes were what changed the tide and prevented a curb-stomp (theoretically). It's like the final battle of Dastan; if the Heroes had fled, there would be no way they could have come back to it later. I think their plan is to let them create a bunch of items throughout the Quest and then confiscate them at the end.

You know, I've noticed that Lucky party members just seem to suck up all the good rolls, leaving the rest of the part with Damage and Special Damage. Something to keep in mind before using Nostrum. Can we please have a clarification/ruling right now as to whether or not a Special that dishes out Petrified would prevent Special Mirror from returning the effect (i.e. by Petrifying the Witch before he/she can return the favor)? I can see it causing confusion already, so it's probably best to deal with it now.

*Insert Mafia joke here.* Yeah, after rolling six 5's in a row, I knew that no matter what I did, you'd have some sort of counter. I ended up just deciding what I would want the limbs to do, and doing the opposite. You know, Endgame went easy on you guys by letting limbs stay in Neutral. In a battle of attrition like this, an extra 6 SP anywhere is huge, and with the way you lucky rats roll a -2 to Level doesn't even come into play. Though, to be fair, Guardian Angel basically renders any strategy null.

Yeah, but what would his stats been like? Would he have been a Skirmisher? A basic Knight? What was his name? What did he look like? [/may be fishing for cameo NPCs] I'm going to answer this for the sake of it: I chose to buff the tail because I know that, even if the Cataclysm Claw is Fragiled on the first try and every single party member rolls a Critical Hit from the Front Row, it won't be enough to take it out; meanwhile, SOMEONE has to either target or take a Free Hit from the tail, and if that happens that party member will be on the brink of death, forcing Sylph to use up his precious Ether on healing instead of Scrolls, miss an opportunity for Alex to attack, or risk letting the party member get KO'd (after all, the party only has two Phoenix Essences left; yes, yes, Roots of Life, but it's unreliable). True, I could have buffed the claw, but then Endgame would lose the tail and its tactical action entirely. It's a game of attrition, and at this moment (as I learned the hard way from Zepher) the best strategy is to hit them hard, even if it means taking a hit.
