  1. Yes, all of them in the room with Yamsar.
  2. Good grief, these Heroes are terrible at diplomacy.
  3. I was re-reading Quest 40 and noticed you had originally let Lucky affect your Scroll reading, too. (Must say, though, I like that it's no longer affected by Lucky, it just feels better. ) Pathologically obese? Also, you might have missed it before, but while we're talking pictures and picture requests: is there any chance we could get a picture of all three of Baba's knights in one shot, possibly with Baba standing with them?
  4. Arthur nods and salutes. Wordlessly switching out his previous Scrolls for his Scroll of Frailty, he casts it upon the Cosmosaur before unleashing his first-ever Earth Spell in the physical realm from the Back Row through his Unlucky Horseshoe. Checking his targets, he reads from the Scroll of Frailty again, aiming his spell toward whichever enemy was not yet Fragile (that is, Cosmosaur if not already Fragile, otherwise Chaosaur) before casting a second Earth spell through his Unlucky Horseshoe at the Cosmosaur, still from the Back Row. For clarity: Arthur (Scroll of Frailty) vs. Cosmosaur Arthur (Earth, Unlucky Horseshoe) vs. Cosmosaur (Back Row) Arthur (Scroll of Frailty) vs. Cosmosaur OR if already Fragile, vs. Chaosaur Arthur (Earth, Unlucky Horseshoe) vs. Cosmosaur (Back Row)
  5. Hmm, interesting...perhaps there are legends that many many generations ago, the Rito and the Fairies were one race, but some mysterious event caused them to split into two separate races? (I'm probably overthinking stuff again. )
  6. On it. Sorrow needs one too. Speaking of Sorrow, I recently discovered "Epic Rap Battles of History". Until I discovered this, I was not a fan of rap. This series has changed my mind. We SO need to do a tag-team Epic Rap Battle between Sylph and Alex vs. Arthur and Sorrow. The best one, IMO, is Bill Gates vs. Steve Jobs, but in the spirit of Heroica here's the Gandalf vs. Dumbledore battle (strong language, NSFW):
  7. "As you wish, Lord Boomingham. Though if I successfully Blind him, there's little need for me to put him to sleep." He quickly uncorks his last Smelling Salts for Lord Boomingham's use, hiding behind the Paladin's shield in the Back Row. Unfurling two of his Scrolls, Arthur prepares to Blind the Chaosaur from the Back Row until he is successful, then Seal it once it's already Blinded. He keeps a wary eye to Seal the Cosmosaur if his first two spells are both successful.
  8. I like the first one better, but perhaps spell it "Raltyn"? The 'yl' looks kinda ugly. You need Overkill Gloves, mate. RE: Overconfidence for Black Knights: YES. It's not a total fix, but I like it, fits the flavor VERY well without being too OP. I don't think they need to earn Gold to be Rogue-like, but they do still need a better SHIELD skill, even with Overconfidence.
  9. "Evening, gentlemen, Lady. It's been an eventful night. We just...dealt with...the other two Wolfgang generals, I see you've made quick work of the last one. Well...well done." "Any of you want my last Nostrum or Smelling Salts? Or I can attack, if you'd like. Should I take my Mulled Mead? Choice is yours. For my scroll actions, I'll try to seal the Chaosaur, and then IF I'm successful I'll try to Blind it--unless you wish me to do something else." Arthur looks hesitantly towards the three Heroes, hoping he was doing what was best for all of them. OOC: Arthur will follow orders until I get back. Zeph, don't forget that Arthur can use his Mulled Wine in the same turn he attacks if he's using his Hollow Blade Dagger--not sure if he can use it on another Hero, but I'm guessing not. For safety, I'd prefer it if Arthur's item and scroll turns take place BEFORE his attack turns, so for example: Item Scroll Attack (Spell through Hollow Blade Dagger) Scroll Attack (Spell through Unlucky Horseshoe)
  10. I put on the TV Tropes page that Violetta the Cat Burglar's real name is Kayla Alderflask. Is that correct, or do Karie and Kayla have different last names?
  11. Wouldn't it be awesome if U'reeves actually showed up to help save the day? I can imagine it now... U'reeves Level 15 Janitor Health: 20/20 Ether: 15/15 Equipment: Old Broomstick (WP:1) Also, I may be leaving in an hour or two, and I'll be gone most of the day. Endgame can control Arthur if it's absolutely needed, but hopefully I can get at least one action in today before I have to go.
  12. Urge to destroy world rising even faster.
  13. "Urge to destroy world rising..."
  14. Someone should make an Artifact that turns the wearer into a Yeti...but make it bodywear, so people can't wear it and the Yeti Fur coat at the same time.
  15. D**n you, Patricia!

    1. Dannylonglegs

      Dannylonglegs

      She's one cold-hearted badass.

    2. Kintobor

      Kintobor

"You're one to talk, my sister's dead!"

  16. Holy crap, you're right! Nagure could theoretically reach a whopping SP:25 before his shield, AND now that I think about it ALL of those items are suitable for him!!
  17. Just running numbers off the top of my head, with the Robe of the Elven Necromancer, the Reflective Gauntlets, the Warrior's Treads, and the Night's Helmet while wielding the Bear Claw Gloves, a non-Knight can theoretically have up to SP:17 at Level 30.
  18. Also important to note is that Arthur has access to Regulator and Skirmisher. There's a flexibility in multiple EC options that not everyone can have. I definitely would have gone on JimB's Quest to Dastan if I could have, just for a shot at another Expert Class option. That's something QMs should note--slap an Expert Class on a Quest, and you have my attention. (And yes, that also applies to Reputation for ECs I want, but still. )
  19. About the only thing Arthur can't do by himself is tank. The real difference in my strategy over Atramor's, though, is that I'm building Arthur to be flexible in Expert Class choices as well. Sorcerer--well, you've all seen Arthur's build for that. Chi Monk--pretty much the same, but with Ether restoration on a SHIELD. (There is one major Artifact that will be different for that build, but you'll likely see it in action soon anyway. ) Regulator, Skirmisher, and Dragoon--Jester's Hat, Cloak of Deception, "Mystery Artifact" that, again, will soon be revealed. I have to say, I'm glad I have my thousand Gold now. Now that I'm assured to finish my deal, I can quit focusing on Artifacts and stats and just collect Scrolls at a leisurely pace, focusing primarily on story.
  20. I thought Natnail was Wolfgang...?
  21. Boomingham needs to have a long talk with Arthur after this is over. Thothwick, too, and maybe Nyx if she's willing.
  22. Problem is, I can't think of anything that would improve the Black Knight without turning it INTO one of the other classes. It's always been the worst AC, simply because there isn't much that can be done to make it better. The only things I can come up with are to allow the sacrificed health to be added as a WP bonus (thus making it added to ALL multipliers, including Critical Hits), and/or allowing health to be sacrificed to gain SP...which now that I think about it sounds really stupid. Definitely needs a re-work, but...how?
  23. Hey, Sandy, if you still have them, could you do a group shot with the Bright Day, Red Dawn, and Black Night trio? Maybe with Baba there as well?
  24. You're the one who said heads could roll now that everyone's been introduced. Really, though, you asked for it by including Zepher NPCs. Their presence spells doom for all NPCs involved, everywhere. Rocks Fall. Everyone Dies.
  25. "Sorrow, check the party in the kitchen, then join us in the Ballroom." Arthur follows Patricia and Serevan into the Ballroom.
