    huh? As I understood it, both days and nights last for 48 hours. That means that we have about three and a half hours left (1:30 pm my local time, it's just short of 10:00 am now).

    As Arthur walks to the Elven stronghold with Nerwen, he grows quiet. "Will this work?" he asks the Elven shaman somberly.

    There's only one thing to do now: the Heroes of both Quests have to kill Jacob and Christian simultaneously in two different times, ending the universe and having to restart it from the Infinite Featureless Plain of Death.

    Well, if I was a host and saw things like "19 unread messages have been posted. Show them?" as I was trying to type up a post, I'd definitely doubt the accuracy of my spreadsheet and want to go back and check. (And yes, that's an actual number of posts that passed my by at one point while I was trying to post. )

    Hey, if you thought it was bad trying to read all that crap we posted, now think about how bad it is poring over it to find actions and resolve them in order! ---------------- Once the tally is over, Sandy, could we have a rules clarification as to whether or not a Level-up Mushroom can be used on someone else? Not that it particularly matters with the change to level displays, but it's going to bug me if I don't know. To those of you unfamiliar with Heroica: this is basically what 40% of the game is; conversations in the rules topic tend to go: Brickdoctor/CallMePie/Flipz: Hey, can I do this awesome overpowered thing with this ridiculous combination of class and equipment that wasn't intended to be used together? Sandy: What the--? All right, who made this crap? Brickdoctor/CallMePie/Flipz: Erm...you did, sir. Sandy: ...damn it. ...what can I say? We make Sandy's life interesting.

"It looks like it can't be used on others, since tha wordin' don' mention a 'target'--jus' says 'gain a level when used', unlike tha Potion an' tha Tonic."

We should set the time of the meeting to be shortly after our noontime rendezvous with the others, so we're all in one place and have time to prepare."

The few that see his body poking out from behind Schezerade's broom notice a few potatoes still sticking to him, but otherwise there is nothing out of the ordinary. "Not ta mention," he rumbles, "there be quite a lot o' us, an' most o' us'll take more'n just one hit ta take down. Tha Days an' Nigh's 're already stretchin' ou'--tha situation'll get unbearably long if'n we don' trus' our instincts an' act when we need ta. Puttin' all tha actions in ta one centr'lized plan at one person's c'mmand'll just let tha kidney-people try an' subver' it, an' if we try an' go fer consensus...well, e'ryone knows tha' Heroes suck at agreein' at tha BEST o' times, let alone when some're tryin' ta kill us. We need ta do wha' we have ta do ta s'rvive."
