    Stay in your Bedroll and drink a Remedy, you'll regain your Hit Points, clear your negative status effects, and as an added bonus will restore your expended Ether as well.

Thinking of potential hiding places, Arthur digs with his Shovel beneath where the Minoid had lain, using his pickaxe to loosen the rock if necessary. He also makes a sketch of the footprint before beginning his work.

    Speaking of that guy, where is Boomingham? Is 96 on some sort of eternal hiatus, or is it just split up into a thousand PM side-quests or something?

    "Wow, those are some small fuses. I think I know how to fix this, but I don't want to risk my clumsy fingers pushing the intact fuses out of place. Master Grimwald, perhaps your fingers are a bit smaller and more steady than mine?" Arthur whispers something into Grimwald's ear. OOC: I've solved it, but I'll PM it to you instead and let the others enjoy figuring it out as well.

    Basically, start as a Knight. When you start as a Knight, it's best to pour your Gold into your shield, especially since QMs are way more likely to drop high-WP weapons (that often also have some very nice secondary effects) than they are to drop high SP shields (mostly because SP is the bane of QMs in general). Thus, when the Knight hits Level 15, they've already got lots of SP and can then pour money into their new bow, and additionally, since there's a longer period between Level 15 and Level 30 than there is between Levels 1 and 15, they have more time and Gold with which to do so.

    Doc and Zepher I think of as their player characters. Sandy I imagine as the Copper Fox (probably due to having him as his avatar for SO long ), and Endgame is forever a pair of glowing blue eyes. EDIT: Oh, and Chromeknight I think of as this unholy combination of Nerwen and Sleeping Beauty. EDIT 2: aaand was thinking of the wrong character.

"If I had appropriate tools and a workstation, I could attempt to repair you--my experience is primarily with the mechanics of siege weaponry, but I've worked alongside Engineers and examined the remains of automatons before, and besides, the basic principles of physics and mechanical operation should still apply. Do you know where we might find such a suitable space? Did Masson provide a location and supplies with which to repair you?"

    OOC: I think I loaned my Noble Mask to Erdy, if I didn't, I meant to. Also, Grimwald equipped the Lens of Speed-Reading. "Lady Erdathcath, I recommend you equip that Noble Mask I lent you, since you can equip a third Artifact with your current level of experience." "I vote we go left, and I'll make a map of which way we're going as we go."

    While I'm not really a Warden, you'll be seeing something of a similar playstyle from me in Skirmisher (a little bit) and in Dragoon (a lot).

    "Indeed, I'll take the moment to prepare as well." Arthur drinks a Nostrum, and replaces the Remedy in his Duplovian Swift Halberd with an Ambrosia. "If one of you fine folks could give me instructions on how to command the Minoid should we encounter it, I think we'll be ready."

    "You make a good point, Master Grimwald, but I do hope that's not the case--it would have...somewhat disturbing implications..." "I...happen to know Mr. Cour. We just met one of his employees at the docks, actually. ...Trust me when I say, these real estate papers relate to a...personal matter I happen to be privy to, thanks to a good friend of mine." He glances at the prices again. "If he's looking at houses in this price range, the wedding's going to cost a fortune," he mutters, apparently unaware that he'd voiced the thought aloud.

    Arthur looks up in alarm. "Mr....?" Arthur takes another look at the real estate papers. "Guess Karie's going to have a new address soon," he murmurs, mostly to himself. "How is the automaton controlled? And Miss Emma--you said its head scraped the stalactites. That brings up another question--did it walk on two legs, or four, or more? What can you tell me about its shape and movement?"

    "Sounds like a plan to me." Arthur approaches the woman(?) with blonde hair. "Hello, miss, the name's Arthur. What can you tell me about the creature you saw?"
