It does! Even a MOC'ed faction ship that is lost, needs money for a new licence. The advantage of a MOC'ed faction ship is just that it allows a faction to have more than 6 ships, nothing more.

Just to be clear, you unlicenced it? :p A drydocked ship is a ship that still is licenced, but unable to be used because no MOC or no upkeep paid

That would explain much :p I think I missed now because I saw "sunk" behind it, but the sunk is a leftover of the copy paste of the original ship last month... Gonna fix it :)

I am just saying, if Oleon gets 2 class 5HA warships, Eslandola has the right for a free class 5 HA as well, just like the Sea Rats (maybe the latter not anymore as their rules have changed and their class 5HA warships will be out of soon)

Ok, but I hope you can see my point: Oleon decided to do some risky stuff. It is true they lost a lot of ships, but they also have the highest rewards in return (561 in taxes). A few of their members managed to capture decent warships with ships that are partially funded by the crown of Oleon (there is no way DukeSC could have paid for his Galaxie otherwise). Oleon has drydocked warships as well. I don't see a point in destroying them...

That's also my point of view. A faction would otherwise always give out their warships to their members so they can fill in the free spots... My idea: The easiest way to solve this: A faction started with 3 class 5HA, if some warships are lost and it turns out a faction has less than 3 warships above class 2 (drydocked ships included), they are granted as many class 3 ships as needed to have a minimum of 3 warships. No gaming the system with this rule

Seriously? You just destroy ships for the fun of it? Daaaamn that's cruel But still, I am veto'ing against destroying warships just so you can get 2 free 5HA warships. It was not possible for Eslandola, nor for the Sea Rats, so it would be gaming the system if you guys would do it... Especially because DukeSC for example has 2 Class 4A's...

I see this is a very difficult situation for Oleon, But also Eslandola was not granted a 3rd HA last month (we lost ours) as we had 3 warships (the third one being a 3A, captured from Sea Rats). We had to pay the full licence cost for our 3rd HA.

Sorry, I forgot in Corrington to state that ships licenced in May or build in May are not yet included :p Also: Paradise has been destroyed (could not find it in the list, but it is stated in the text). As Ska said, the Mars should be captured as well.

Walrus Returns is one of your ships, but may I know what ship? It never has been licenced, so I only can guess one of your original ships has changed names?

Even for me this is a big question as it are intern politics of Oleon. I think the best you can do to solve this mystery is examining their incomes and expenses in the google sheets (let me know how they fix it). The best I can come up with, is the state of Oleon paying a sum to their members so they can fund the ships. It does work, considering they have now the biggest income, even they lost a dozen ships...

I know, same for the Sea Rats last month, their third warship was a captured class 4 (ok, still better than class 2), so they weren't granted a third faction warship... You can always try to persuade your loyal subjects to trade their captured 4A's for some of the faction 2A's

I am confirming this. Oleon does have a very interesting ship policy of dividing it ships over their members. Some ships are switching owners every month... Talking about this, I am busy with the Ship Index (should be finished by the end of the week). Many ships Oleon captured are captured by private vessels. Is it ok that I assume the one who licenced the ship, gets the captured vessel? Or are there other rules in Oleon? Also some good news, Oleon has more than 1 ship! As there were a few ships drydocked, I think Oleon has 4 ships again. But this also means you have not the right for the 2 free ships (to get a minimum of 3 warships), as you already have some ships ready! Once I finished the list, I'll post it in the faction topics, so everyone is up to date again!
