  1. Wikipedia isn't a reliable source of information. Sheesh Ask Shirley; she's the chef
  2. The conclusion has been posted
  3. Holy bejeezus! A lot happened last night! Thankfully, I only have a small cut on my arm. Now let's actually try to rid ourselves of the Nizam
  4. A conviction has been made. Please do not post in this topic. This thread will be closed as soon as either JimButcher or a staff member come along. The conclusion should be up shortly thereafter. Please refrain from sending night actions in until the conclusion has been posted.
  5. You may now begin to vote A total of 7 votes are needed to reach a conviction
  6. Genius! Everybody, I suggest you all remove your underwear immediately. That way we'll bemuse confuse them. No, not in front of me . Well, I guess you can .
  7. You really have gone crazy, huh Shadows? I'm going to Kill: JimButcher Protect: Shadows Block: Shaows I want to see how this plays out
  8. A few things to start with: a) Historically, fire sets are released every three years, not every year. b) So far, we don't know of any fire sets that are being released next year. c) The two sets you are talking about are from entirely different series, and are aimed at entirely different audiences. The Fire Brigade is a set from the modular buildings series, with only about two released every year. They're aimed at an age group of 16+, which you most likely fall into. They are built with more advanced techniques to accomplish better detailing and accuracy. The Fire Station is designed for kids aged 5-12, who care much less about accuracy, and much more about playability. That's exactly what the set is designed for: playability. From what I know*, the sets go through many design stages with the target age group, who then help determine what is best. They associate red with fire, so that's the reason the station is red, etc. *There was an article regarding the station in The Brick Magazine.
  9. Well, I know that there'll be at least one extra death tomorrow.
  10. So... is the players list topic also the confirmation topic?
  11. The one that I have is unmarked, and is from 8293. Like CP5670, I'm guessing it is identical to the one with the dark gray centre, bar the case.
  12. Thank you, but please leave the hosting to JimButcher and I.
  13. We don't kill you, other players do
  14. I recognize that we forgot to mark the start of voting. It is much easier for us to manage other aspects of the game when we are the ones who announce events. Because BobTCM had started voting, I decided not to post when it was inconvenient. I'm just asking that in the future, you wait for the hosts to announce the start of voting.
  15. In the future, please wait for either JimButcher or myself to announce the start of voting
  16. I love death! After all, death is my middle name... Sign me up, Oh Shadowed One!
  17. Oh, f***. So this is what I get for helping elderly citizens, huh? And, unless one of you can throw me a gem, I guess I'll have to wait to get one...
  18. It should be up later tonight...
  19. Check out our Canadian, EH! topic. Members usually post any sales and deals they find.
  20. Well, no, but looking at the poster's other job listings (which includes a sales rep position), and searching for 'Lego' under Toronto's kijiji garner's no results. I'd assume that all the job listings would be posted from the same account.
