  1. I agree with most of those. The last one about the springs, you misunderstood. Use some hard shocks for better stability. Also, maybe weighted 94.8x44r wheels would be better... What I mean by weighted is either filling them with pins or adding smaller tires to the inside. Thanks for not taking it too harshly :P
  2. Agh. I have read four wheeler for years! And that blue dodge was my main inspiration for this build. I wanted some bad a** ranch truck for trucktrial:) Sorry, but the v8 is mounted in there well...I would have to rip out the front end to get it out :( So, I'm sticking with it And yes, the cummins sound is music to my ears
  3. How come some of the trucks say "V10" on the side??? Thank you! I got the rims from the nitro menace and another technic racers sets It says that the "ST" model has a v8 !
  4. Ok, here is my critiques: Is it a modified version of Zblj's panther? The axles are similar (except for gearing), the motors are in the same place... I don't like the bodywork...it looks "thrown on", especially in the hood. It looks as if you slapped that panel in and said "oh well, I just want to drive this thing!!!" The performance seems nice, the speed is good It is a bit tippy with the soft shocks
  5. Yes, it is a modified version of your axles. I didn't add in the wacky inside gearing, and I made the hubs a tad different. Overall, excellent axle Niels! No, according to specs, it's a cummins V10, not a inline 6. A normal dodge gas truck will have a inline 6 Alright, I may try some headlight-guards
  6. I think this is your best crawler yet raus! Why? Because it uses all Lego pieces and also, it has a short wheelbase. I sure hope you make instructions for each module!

Its nice to have somebody to talk to

  9. Greetings Y'all! I just finished my latest MOC, after my supercar (somewhat failed project). This truck was inspired by the Dodge Ram 2500 4X4 Cummins Turbo Diesel. Here is a picture of my isnpiration: The reason why I chose this truck -POWERFUL engine -Strong axles (Dana 60's) -Reputation as a good sled-pulling truck -Nominated in "best used 4X4's" by FourWheeler Magazine -An American truck -Low gearing -Simple bodywork -recognized as a ranch truck -reminds me of big chrome exhaust 'stacks -these trucks are most oftenly seen lifted from factory ride height So, with that, I went off to make a trialtruck, with the following features: -Strong axles, with a total of a 1:8.337 geardown. -Pendular suspension, rotating on turntables (no pivot axle friction) -VERY tight steering -long-travel suspension -working winch, with a 1:8 geardown -moving V8 engine -center-mounted battery box -spare tire -rollcage/flatbed -working offroad lights, plus orange top-of-cab-lights - 1X PF XL for propulsion, 1X PF M for steer, 1X PF M for winch -Lego Technic Logos -realistic interior -exhaust stacks So, those are the features. I put together a quick teaser video for y'all. Soon, i will have Digital-Camera taken photos, and they will be uploaded to my brickshelf, and to here in a reply. Tell me what y'all think about the truck! Thanks!
  10. Thanks! Please try to if you can:)
  11. Welcome to the eurobricks community, two five!
  12. When i logged on today, I looked by my name, and saw that I changed from a "eurobricks vassal" to a "eurobricks citizen"!!! I am so very happy to officially become a member of the AFOL community, despite some troubles in the beginning (don't ask) So, I would like to express my happiness, and thankfulness by creating this topic
  13. Ok, I know some of us have probably tried this app, the irate Lego app. It is where you rate other people's creations on a 1-5 scale. It's a good way to kill some time But it us booring Not to mention a bunch of the pictures are copied off google, actuall sets, or very amateur. Speaking of apps...i think eurobricks should develop a "eurobricks app" for AFOLS on the go! Anybody with me?!? Thanks!!!
  14. I just have one bin for those prices I almost never use...just semi-sorted...
  15. Ok, I know most of us have had a lego dark age period of time, where the outside wold has kept us so busy for weeks... Months... Maybe even half a year... And we couldn't get enough time to build or tear apart our creations! So, I decIded to post this topic, to let all of you share your stories and let off some steam from being busy... Here is my current siduation: I am currently in school. Its almost the end of the year, and we are starting to wrap up and do state testing, finals testing, huge group projects, all of that wonderful stuff:( Also, my girlfriend is keeping my busy too, and also regular tues and thurs afterschool personal-trainer weightlifting sessions have also left me tired and busy... I have been longboarding 3 times this week...but only for a hour or two at a time. Not long enough to be productive with Lego... It also looks as if my weekend will be clogged up too, because I have work to do (chores and homework) So, there is still a pile of random technic prices and half-built chunks lying on my floor, unsorted, and also my Lego technic Supercar is sitting like a abandoned car... So, that is why I have been so very busy and delayed. I feel a bit better knowing that some of you have experienced this too:) Please let us all know what your up to if you on a "dark age" Thanks! Wish me luck, hopefully I will be back to building in late-spring

    Hobbies

I have a variety of hobbies. You wouldn't expect me to be a Lego-fan... •I Longboard (longer skateboard with a flexible deck and wide, flexible trucks for carving downhill) •I play basketball •I lift weights •I love to mountain bike •I sometimes run cross-country Those are my other hobbies:) njoy!
  17. Awesome trucks!!! I can't say enough abou how I love your Tatras the most! Your title in here should be "tatranator" ! That solid-axle...amazing job for a pendular axle! It's really hard to accomplish that, and that steering angle is legit:) Anyways... Both of your trucks are on my builds list. I won't get around to them immediately though because I am in a dark age now, with not having enough time to build or tear apart. I still have my sportscar and a pile of random technic on the floor of my Lego room:( . I will probably build it one of the next weekends or perhaps once school is out in a month. I have huge finals to study for! Thanks for the instructions! I love both!!! Also, how did you make the cab??? I always have trouble with making a accurate cab...instructions for that as well would rock!!
  18. Alright! I finally got around to taking and uploading dome finalized pictures! Now, thats just a few. I have a bunch more in my Brickshelf Folder: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=502026 Enjoy! I hope those photos work for y'all! I used the 4-speed+N gearbox from the 8880 supercar, only in studless form
  19. I have mobile apps for the accounts. I will try and shoot some better photos, with my Sony camera
  20. @Dluders: thanks! I put the hose on top of the engine to give it more of a "engine feel" The reason why my pics are low-res is because they are shot with a iPod camera, plus it makes them more blurry when I take photos at night then at the day. I might get a Flickr, it just might be too much to keep up with...I have all ready let my brickshelf slip a bit., same with briicjyrucktrial. Is there a app that can upload pictures to Flickr?
