  1. Hey all, I ran across this cool post on Brickshelf, by user MBMC137. He is a Hungarian TruckTrial builder. Anyways, He took the Gray T-piece off of the insides RC steering unit, and is using it for a separate piece. I find it a very useful idea! Here is what he said: "I took out this piece from the Black Electric RC Race Buggy Steering Unit - BL number 6282. This can be used as a 4x3 T liftarm. You can take this out without damage." His Pictures: If you want to see more, here is his Brickshelf Gallery. Cheers!
  2. Very ambitious project! I would LOVE to see it in real pictures My only worry is the pneumatics and M-motor and such not having enough power for that massive sprayer! Also, use the offroad motorbike tires in the real model I wish you the best of luck!
  3. I have the same last name!

  4. You can create sub-folders in the unjailbroken 4Gen iPod... Yea! LDD would be great!
  5. Looks like I fall under the "dont give a s-BEEP" category. I wanted to capture it fast, and I forgot to turn it sideways. I'll try & do better in the future... Haha:) I am going to see if she does it with a different truck or not... I think it's the combination of moving & the motor noise You stole my thunder :P
  6. I always like to listen to SKRILLEX when i build... Skrillex is Dubstep techno music... for some reason, the sound of it helps me build better! hahahaha its not only you....
  7. Its okay Sariel , I have your gear calculator page in a Bookmarked Icon on my Ipod's "LEGO Folder"
  8. i think i will keep out of this disgreement...
  9. Hey all! I just finished building MY version of Zblj's TrialTruck #9 and, it is red, and pretty "pimped-out"! But anyways, I was taking a quick testdrive down the hallway, into my bedroom... Only to be discovered by my curious 9-month-old Kitten, Tanya... Watch the video to see what happens! *EDIT* Please Click the long link below... Isnt she so cute??? That was her first encounter with a Lego Technic RC Trial Truck! oh! and one more thing... If you havent subscribed to my YouTube yet, PLEASE do. I have 93 subscriber right now, and I am trying to break the 100-mark. Thanks SO much
  10. the styling is super! but independent suspension doesnt belong on a jeep... however, it is all you had to work with, so i guess its great in this case...
  11. Welcome Nick! I have some idea of what you are trying to build, but i think there are severalways to go about it. Do you want a "Stewart platform"? of do you want a simple 2-axis platform with a front-back-left-right tilt? If you want the latter, you can use a worm gear application. If you want to do that, just set 2X of the above on each side of the baseplate as your model. Then, make a mount that fits on the + of the axles of the 24T gear. after that, put 2 triangle-worm gear application on that mount. then you mount the top platform on the 2nd axis I hope you kind of get my idea of putting one wormscrew axlix down on the board, and using the axle outputs to mount the other axis...its hard to explain. But I hope, as a engineer, you will catch my drift. Good Luck!
  12. Hey everyone! As I was building a RED VERSION of Zblj 's Trial Truck Version 9 , I decided to experiment a bit with seats. As I Did that, I had a idea of making folding seats, like in the new Jeep Wrangler JK, in a Lego version. So, after I put in a top-frame-cross-brace, I put in seat brackets, along with the seats. Then, all I did was attach a pin connector to the insides of each seat, and put a 4-L Axle with Stop, and a small thin liftarm for leverage to pull the axle in & out of the cross-brace. (sorry for my run-on sentences. its a bad habit of mine) Anyways... Here, is a video of it in action: My apologies for bad lighing... I shot the video at night. Well, There you have it. Feel free to copy it if you want...
  13. Well, why dont you build each one, tear them all apart, and use ALL of the pieces for a new MOC. Whats the use in building a set and never tearing it apart? And relying on the extra parts not used, as spares??? To me, it doenst make a whole lot of sense. Well, i assume that the 8043 is like most sets... The A-model uses 99.9% of the peices in the the set, maybe excluding a few sall pins and other common stuff. The B-model uses around 85-90% of the sets parts. You will probably still have a few pins, beams, and such left, but nothing too vital to the set... So, i guess what Im saying is, the B-model has more extra parts if that is what your looking for. My advice however, is to build both, and tear them down, and THEN build a new MOC. Good Luck!
  14. AllanP's designs are my favorite:) I used his gearbox in my Supercar, and it worked flawlessly. I am thinking of incorporating the AWD-2wd-difflock in my next trialtruck.
  15. Great moc! Superb compact chassis and phenomenal bodywork. Thanks for sharing the .LXF with us! I am going to build this once I get some panels and spare time :p
  16. That is the best mini figure-scaled vehicle I have ever seen! I tried to get that sporty Toyota look with my Lego tiny Toyota MOC. See my Brickshelf folder for the link, if you want instructions
  17. Oh. My. Gosh. 2 new motors instead of one!!! I am so getting this set!!!
  18. Thanks so much, this is what I like to hear as a builder. Unfortunately, I had a tear-apart fest and all of my creation are now in individual pieces.
  19. Good idea:) I would like to see it used in a motor-on axle trial trick, so you can have enough room on the chassis to do this. Maybe add a 2nd remote & channel so you can multitask? Good luck on the development of this design...
  20. Hmmm... Makes me wonder how this would work in a trial truck... Would the gears pop out of gear and click?
  21. 14, almost 15. Thanks for standing up for me, sariel:) Let's not get into this issue again... If he didn't tell you, sinner put me in the isolation chamber, And he put me back out. :)
