  1. I have run into one problem... The horizontal pivot point mount is a bit wiggly, and that causes the whole axle to want to bend around.
  2. Well of course! Those are the basics! I have the axles built and they seem to be very strong
  3. I didn't think it got posted when my browser crashed
  4. hello! I have been thinking of this project for quite some time now, and I have decided to do it. A trucktrial 8X8. I have been pondering between the two ideas and here they are: 8x8 Tatra 8x8 multi pendular suspensiond truck I have narrowed it down to the second option. why? Because I think Tatras are way to easy to build, due to my modular Tatra design. plus, there is a TON of Tatra 8X8s out there! So, with that said, I did more reasearch on the multi-pendular suspensioned trialtruck. I found that the suspension was generally a group of two of the axles put together. I also found that the suspension rotated forwards and backwards first, then that pivot-holder went to another pivot, which tilted side-to-side. Sometimes the suspension had links between the two double-axle units. So, I have a idea of how I want to make the axles...but hmm... How would I make the frame??? How would I make the suspension shock-absorbed? I am very confused as where I should Go about making the frame and such...CAN YOU ALL PLEASE HELP BY LEAVING SUGGESTIONS IN REPLYS? here is my goal/inspiration for this project: http://www.sheepo.es/2011/04/truck-trial-lizard-8x8.html Thanks!
  5. Hello everyone! I have been thinking for quite a while to make my very first 8x8 trialtruck. After studying different designs by different builders, I found that there is two main techniques. The first one is to build a 8x8 Tatra. Simple, Simple, Simple, since my Tatra Suspension design is very modular, resulting in it being super easy to make into a 8x8. So, I do not want to do that because the whole purpose of technic is to challenge yourself! My other common option is to make a multiple-axis pendular suspension. If you didnt understand that, I mean a suspension that holds a double-axle unit, and has a pivot point on the middle of the double-axle unit, and also another pivot point mounted on the pivot holder going side-to side. I probably just confused you more, but those who did get it...thanks :D Anyways, I am hoping to build something with multi-pivotal suspension, kind of like Sheepo's Lizard 8X8. I am probably going to use 3X PF XL motors, two for the front axle unit, and one for the rear axle unit. The motors will all be MOA or motor-on-axle. I am also hoping to use dual steering up-front, powered by a PF M Motor. Dual battery boxes & a winch are a high probability too. that is what I was thinking of making. Next, let me move on to some questions... 1.) how would I make a frame to accommodate the dual-pivot? 2.) should I put some type of linkages between the two axles? 3.) how can I add shock absorbers?!? Thanks for reading. below are some of the ideas in pictures I was thinking of using:
  6. I did Tatars and crawlers the last few times, so I decided to branch out some

  16. Hello Siegfried. I registered over A few months ago, and I don't remember reading anything about it. However, I may be wrong, and you did post a rules part, which I must have skipped. As for the Lego world, I really consider myself more of a AFOL than a kid builder. Even my skills are on the level of some of you guys. I collect and build MOCs for a hobby, not as much as a fun-only plaything! Please do not ban me Siegfried. I would just like to stay on this website, not only because people know what I am talking about, plus, people also listen to my voice and opinions and about my MOC'S on this website. Please keep me here, I don't care if you do take away a privlage or something, I just want to keep on this site. Thanks for listening to this, I should have read your terms of service and such before I joined euro bricks. My apologies, 88high
  17. The reason they aren't making technic ships is because they have holes and don't float. Who would want a ship that doesn't float!!!
  18. How about I make a YouTube video later today? It did snow here
  19. Look at my posts! I put them in my stream not my photos
  20. I was the first person to complete his instructions and build the chassis. I did it the night that the LDD file went public!
  21. Pictures posted on my google+
  22. Hello! I am very interested in some of your Technic sets and unfinished lots! I have a bunch of bricks I could trade, plus cash...and I am located in Arizona, no too far from Ohio. I am interested in a bunch of the sets like the 8466, 8880, super-street-sensation, and the power puller. I am more interested in the peices than the sets, so if you are willing to part-out some of those sets, I would be a 95% sure trader with you. Thanks! -88high
  23. I got a 8376 hot flame RC MISB for only $99.99usd. The RC components normallys sell for $200.00+!
