  1. Yes I have observed your problem. The older 5.5L axles in old gray and in black are weaker, you can mostly tell the difference due to the ends of the axle being more flat on top. The newer 5.5L axles are most oftenly found in light blueish gray, and their tops are a bit more rounded. Your trialtruck doesn't need a redesign neccesarilly. It just needs the latest axles.
  2. I really live the short stubby buggy design! It's really neat! Great job! I also hope you can make instructions for this:) I could picture my trialtruck hauling this on a trailer:P
  3. More pics to explain how this works would be good, because I couldnt really follow your worded explaination. To me, it looks like a good model!
  4. Is building the Lego Architecture Space Needle now, wishing he had enough money for a #9398 Technic Rockcrawler

  5. I did the same thing, only at JoAnn's. I also found out tgat fishing line works well and is strong & cheap

    Mega Bloks

I got some megablocks in a mixed box of garage sale Legos. I sorted it out, and found out that mega blocks dont stick too well against Lego bricks. So, into a bag, onto the fire put they went... MUAHAHAHAHAHA! (evil laugh)
  7. Hey all! I just got back from my vacation to Seattle! It was was a ton of fun visiting the national parks, and seeing the underground and the space needle! But to help me remember the fun times... I got a Lego Architecture Space Needle as my souvenir! Haha, probably my best souvenir yet! *EDIT* Crap. I spelled souvenir wrong in the title...
  8. Welcome to the world of technic! But beware... It is addictive!!! :P
  9. I was wondering if anybody else had a different design of that controller. Vlmn8r's control looks great! It's just that I don't have 2 more of the curved panels for the handle
  10. I am looking for a remote that has a finger trigger in one hand, you hold it like a pistol grip controller and you steer it with a wheel...
  11. i say blue panels with orange detailing would be the bomb!
  12. Hey all! I just finished my latest mystery MOC, and I wanted to make a handheld RC-style PF controller for the PF remote. Do you know anybody that has made one before, possibly with instructions?
  13. I like the suspense! Haha I now have 102 subscribers! WWWWOHHOOOO!!! Yes, your right... It is a trialtruck. Hint: see my YouTube videos for a sneak peak

    WANTED:

Does anybody have 38-40 Technic 3L Liftarms (3pinholes) in Light gray or Light blueish gray??? I need to borrow, buy, or trade for some. (USA only) If you really are curious what it is for, it is for a 6x6 trialtruck, and they will be used in the rear section to form the top of the cover to hide electronics and such.
  18. Yes indeed, for rack & pinion, the unimog is all wrong. You need to make it slow & precise for a trialtruck.
  19. Well, I know most of us use rack-and-pinion steering on our trialtrucks. I have also used a mini LA before. I have also tried push link with no success.. I would like to hear your opinion about which steering is the best method for trucktrial?
  20. Hey everybody! I would just like to remind you that I have made instructions for my old' gray! Please check them out! It will be worth it!
  21. I have painted a tile before with acrylic paint. It is very hard to do and it scrapes off. Not a great idea unless you are at chromebricks.com and you know what your doing
  22. Happy birthday!! :)
