  1. Unfortunately I don't have an LDD file... I just use my imagination, the plan is in my head. Trial and error.
  2. This is an amazing MOD! Very inspiring! Really like your style... Can we see your whole town layout?
  3. Well, here it is... But in my city, I will put my Bank between other mocs. Thanks Kristel! You are a master builder yourself and gave me some inspiration too! I think Gary has an eye on Pamela Brickingson...
  4. This is such a great MOD! Everything is already been said. I was thinking about to do something similar! So you've bought 2 sets? But you probably needed much more pieces to finish this project? Is it also possible, to make a picture from above of each floor?
  5. Thanks for all the kind comments so far! It really encourages me to keep on building! And I will be more active and participating on this forum in the future! The chair comes from the Simpsons House, which I already have broken down for using the parts. Well, during the weekend I will put my creation between 2 official modulars and add the picture here!
  6. Stunning moc, as usual from yours! I like to see your whole city, is that possible?
  7. Hello all! It's been a very long time since I've posted here. My previous and first moc, a Police station, has been broken down. In the end, I wasn't so happy with it. I will build a new one in the future, though. After collecting new sets and bricks, I had enough parts to create a new building: a modular Bank! It is based on the Lego set 3661, and used techniques from other official modulars, my own inspiration and also from other builders. So, here it is Front of the building, with ATM outside. That old man just needed some cash. But I think he's already lost his money! Back of the building. With the stairs leading to the appartment 1st floor: the bank. Securityman. He has probably the most boring job in Lego City. Now he's filling the time by reading a strange newspaper. The big safe! Now let's go to the 1st floor... Living room and kitchen. Detail from the kitchen. . Gary is watchin' tv after a long day of work at the office. Is it a surfing game? Or an old episode of Paradiso Baywatch? Now let's have a look at the second floor! Bedroom & bathroom. Entrance to the balcony and a small stairs leading to the roof terrace. I think Gary has forgotten to flush the toilet Finally a view of the roof. Here Gary can relax during warm spring days. In summer it will probably be too hot! Well, that's it folks! Here and there, I still have to add some bricks, but they're not available for the moment. I'm also going to make a brick-build $-sign on the roof. Hopefully you've enjoyed it, sorry for the sometimes bad photography and simplistic English. Next projects are a modular museum and a modification of the Palace Cinema. Both are in different stages now of development. Comments & criticism welcome!
  8. Hi Tiger, Thanks for your comment! The shield above the doorway is a temporary solution. I'm going to chance it for another in a better colour that fits with the building. Or should I do something else? You're right too about the toilet. But space is limited. Then I probably have to give up a cell...
  9. Hello Eurobrickspeople, After building several of the Lego modulars, time has come to create my own! So I actually don't have any experience yet, but you have to start somewhere. No Lego city is complete without a police station, so I gave it a try. I had lots of white bricks too, so that made the choice too in that direction. Because I needed some inspiration, I've used the Pet Shop as starting point. The first floor is roughly based on that model. The building is 95% complete. Here and there some bricks are missing and in the future I can always improve the facade and interiors. The last time I've been spoiled with amazing mocs, in particular the one from Castor-Troy. My Police office seems nothing against his masterpiece. So please be kind with your comments, but some advice and ideas are more than welcome too! At the moment I'm figuring out how to put images here on the forum, in the meantime I'll give you the link to my never-used-before Flickr account: http://www.flickr.com/photos/pixyourlife/sets/72157634124586845/with/9042843273/ Greetz
  10. Hello! Nice updates. What I should do, is incorporating a tramway instead of a train, for a more "urban feel". Or combine them? And adding a bycycle path... What have you done with the Tower Bridge? Can we have a closer look? Looks interesting, maybe I'll do the same in my little city. Keep on building!
  11. As some others, I like the exterior but the interior is a big dissapointment. I'm going tot mod it into a Chinese restaurant I think and finally try to make my own cinema/theatre.
  12. Very inspiring SalvoBrick! Think I'm going to get some Creator sets too. How many sets did you actually need for each building? Greetz
