  1. I am 99% sure the broom piece is soft plastic due to the complexity and "thiness" of the bristles.
  2. Bought the HP and SW Advent calendars for Kohl's today. Everyone out there going crazy for 501st battle Packs, and I'm just here excited to finally get my little Pit Droid :-)
  3. When it comes to the AAT, I think the original 2000 model was the most accurate for scale. bigger than 2015 and 2020 but not quite as big as the 2009 model. Not to mention the 2000 model still looks pretty good compared to other far more inaccurate sets of the time.
  4. Has anyone else who owns the 75244 Tantive set experienced bubbling with the stickers around the cone / cockpit pieces? I'm very good when applying my stickers and have never had bubbles show up over time like they are here. It's very irksome given that they provide a lot of the detail on the front of the set.
  5. I feel like some of these minifigures in the last few waves have really been a step backwards for detail and accuracy. As said above the snow trooper has lost his backpack in 4 sets now which looks weird. Apparently many years of a nice minor distinction between the X-Wing Pilot uniform and the Snowspeeder Pilot uniform has been discarded. While this did give me a chance to snag an "X-Wing" Wedge in the 4+ set, I miss the attention to detail. I also felt this way about last years Hoth troopers, they weren't bad, but I felt they were a step down. I can't remember another instance where clearly the detail and quality regressed on figs like this, barring details like arm printing that are exclusive to UCS and larger Sets.
  6. I think the Officer in the first order Battle pack is blue, there were a few blue uniformed officers in TFA.
  7. Agreed Wedge and Biggs are two of the most needed updates behind all the Cloud City figures and Tarkin.
  8. I got two sticker sheets in my x-wing
  9. When you guys say it won't close all the way I assume you mean more than like a thirty-second of an inch right? Cuz mine hovers a hair but I wouldn't call the piece warped.
  10. I have the Transporter and it's awesome. My only complaint is that from what I can see in the trailer the ship should be longer which I think would help make the cabin look less oversized. The way that the ship is built means that extending it's length should be an easy task.
  11. I know that many of these sets will end up on back order pretty quickly, but does anybody expect them to disappear entirely before the ~year and a half were used to
  12. So I'm slowly trying to pick up models of the last vehicles I am missing from my Star Wars collection, Republic Cruiser, Turbo Tank, Grievous' starship, Venerator, and Tantive IV. three questions. One, with the reels tv show and rogue one in the works is the Tantive IV worth it's 200-250 price tag if a new one might be around the corner? Second. Which turbo tank is better? Third. Is the venerator even worth it? It looks kind of chunky to me
  13. I think the lack of Lando in the Carbon Freezing Chamber strongly supports the idea of more Cloud City sets to come.
  14. The Lady Cyclops collectable minifig has sand blue hands
  15. I would also like the pm if possible! Thanks
  16. I'd like to know if the Shuttle has an interior it looks like the sides might open up but so far no one has posted a picture if there is anything in there
  17. Captain Tarpals, at least he's not the exact Gungan Warrior from earlier. I still think the Naboo Starfighter is practically the same ship, but the Naboo Pilot is definitely closer to movie accurate. Also since Leia comes with a Poncho piece we can make our own Endor Lukes.
  18. Imperial Droid with clear head in the Carrier set
  19. Has there been any attempt to create Kaita with the new Toa, sorry Masters?
  20. I havent heard to much hate for the naboo Starfighter as a whole, but I know a lot of us don't care for it and which a less recent ship was taking its place especially because it does look an awful lot like the 2011 set. However, not only is it a chance for younger fans to get the set, but some may forget the the 2011 set was an exclusive and thus at least in the US it has actually been 8 years since we had a Naboo Starfighter anywhere other than Target and the Lego Stores. That being said, I'd rather that set have been a TIE Interceptor, TIE Bomber, Obi Wan Starfighter (either one), Twin Pod Cloud Car, Bonty hunter Pursuit, or Jango Fett Slave 1 over a rehash of an old set.
  21. That is just a picture of the Promotional Han Solo figure from 2013 and from this year.
  22. well it looks as if Luke will be slightly different than the Ewok Village Luke and will have his flap up. This means that he is a slightly new fig that wasn't labeled as "new" in the leaked pics which gives me hope that maybe some more of the figs in the summer wave might be slightly updated. I'm looking at the Naboo Pilot and Young Anikan's Ron Weasley hairpiece.
  23. The very light grey is almost white if you google search "thok bionicle" and then compare his skin color to his teeth (which are true white) it gives the best impression. Honestly that color would have been great for the helmets, but as others have said now we're going to have mismatched helmet colors, I really hope they don't intend to start making all the rebel pilot helmets grey.
  24. If you were going to sell it you would be better off buying the missing pieces so that you can list it as complete, unless you are missing a super rare or hard to get piece it should only cost you a wee fraction of what your profits for selling the set would be.
  25. They actually did have a light light gray color that they used in Knight's Kingdom II as the base color for shields and in at least one Bionicle set, though that color has been discontinued since around 2006 or 7
