  1. Nice plant life. There's been so many great builds so far in this first week.
  2. Like the comic. That's a nifty looking little forklift. I like it.
  3. Now you've got the other pictures added, I love the look of it even more.
  4. I have sent you a message. I hope it makes sense and if so, look forward to having you join the rest of us that journeyed to Serium.
  5. While working on the floating platforms on Serium, I have had a few thoughts. If there is a spare scientist about, I would be happy to discuss them. OoC; basically, i've had an idea for a build and if we've got a scientist that could use some inspiration, i've had thoughts on a storyline that could inspire them for this weeks build. May take a bit of explaining, but I'll be back online this evening. Got work to do now.
  6. Thanks for thinking what I did with my story was a perfect example. This is my first RPG thing on here, so thought it would be good to try and draw inspiration from what had already been created by you two and tie that into my build.
  7. Nicely done. Such a simple and clean build that shows the situation well.
  8. Like the fire effect. Nice little build.
  9. That's a different style of ship to the ones I usually see. Wouldn't want to see that coming at me. Nice model.
  10. Just added the thingy to my signature, but it appears that my sigfig isn't showing in the image, just a white box (really didn't know quite how to explain that). Can it be fixed please.
  11. Terrain isn't one of my strong points (at the minute. As things progress, I should get better with practice). It's meant to be relatively flat here though =P. Also small details aren't a particularly strong point of mine. Thanks for the comments though.
  12. Some great detail on that vehicle and I love the effect for the acid.
  13. Awesome ship and I love the water with the veins of awesomnium visible in it.
  14. Love that first shot with the asteroid background image. Liking the ship aswell. Got a nice look to it that's perfect for scouting trips.
  15. Although it's a shame you can't see the Bot particularly well, the darkness of the shot makes me think of a slightly grainy quality image being transmitted back to headquarters. A nice little scene.
  16. Awesome boat. Just right for scouting Serium's seas.
  17. I like the contrast between the start white cleanliness of the vehicle and the more natural feel of the tree and tentacles.
  18. I agree with much of the above. The photography makes the scene look great and full of atmosphere.
  19. Some nice little details in such a small space. Think I need to practice my greebles.
  20. Engineer AC reporting in to say that the first Navigation and Comms Beacon has been constructed on Serium. This will be an important feature to start with due to the lack of landmarks across the vast areas of water. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=109553 (OoC: My photography isn't the best and hopefully my building will improve, but I think it's a good start. Really need to sort out my Lego I think. I know I've got some parts I planned on using somewhere...)
  21. Kawashita Engineer's Log - AC - B09 Serium I've arrived on Serium with my construction team shortly after Mister S' and Narbilu's teams arrived. Both teams took differing areas of the planets to scout round to begin with to maximise the amount of the data that can be gathered in the first few hours of arrival. We've landed our construction crew near to where Mister S first landed for now and have begun construction here. This particular small desert island has a decent amount of space for initial construction and is nice and level which will make creating foundations for structures easier. A good choice for centering land based construction, although a number of floating platforms will be required. First things first though, with the large bodies of water and few islands, there's a distinct lack of landmarks to navigate by, so we've begun by assembling a Navigation and Comms Beacon on the sand. The mast is a little bulky looking for what antennas and sensor arrays are currently mounted on the top, but it should be more stable on this surface and will save complete replacement when more arrays are added later. Not sure how well the relay cabinet will cope in this heat. May need more ventilation, but we don't want too much sand getting into the works. It should be okay for a while though.
  22. Feels like I'm a bit late to the party, but Engineer AC here reporting in. Me and my construction team are following Mister S to Serium and, using initial data relayed from him, will hopefully have something up soon. Will report in again as soon as I can.
  23. Don't post very often on Eurobricks, but I'm liking the look of this game, so thought I'd give it a go and see if it will help me improve what little MOCing I do by taking part in this. AC joining Kawashita as an Engineer.
  24. Thanks for the comments. Need more practice with landscaping. Not done much of it before, so thanks for the tips.
  25. Thanks for the comments. It wasn't intentional, but I thought the same about the tracked vehicle resembling a Sandcrawler from Star Wars once I'd finished it.
