You should try the LotR thread, that can be scary at times........... Interesting that both waves that will be released this year don't have a £100/$100 "Flagship" set. I wonder if that is down to the short 3 month difference in release of the waves or if the bigger sets will be released next year. Could also be down to the number of sets released(12 in the one theme) How did Lego Batman start out in terms of set size?

I'm quite sure Nick Fury will be in the Marvel Superheroes Civilian figure set with Bruce Banner, Steve Rogers, Tony Stark and Peter Parker I hope he will appear as a surprise as the character is very prominent in the posters etc but remember lego still hasn't produced a James Gordon, a character similar to Fury in some ways. No idea about the next waves but got to be six months away unless there are TDKR summer sets.

Depends on what you can make a set out of and if it would be too much character repetition. Certainly would want new versions/variations of the figs from this year. Thor would need his helmet, iron man could be like the exclusive toy fair ones. Same problem for DC need a new variant of Bat costume and still a wealth of well known villains to be made, superman is unfortunate as he always looks the same. But many other DC and Marvel characters to choose from. I'm most interested just now to see if there will be a preorder bonus with the new Lego Batman game

Nice cheap way to get Black suit batman and robin. I'll keep my eye out for these on Lego shop and the Riddler and the Joker appear rarely together but there are recent major plotlines linking them. One of the Hush arcs if I remember right.....

Maybe one of those continuity errors if she has been filming other things between Iron man 2 and various stints with Avengers. Now that the new Avengers poster has been released with Samuel L Jackson/Nick Fury extremely prominent I must say I'm expecting a bolt from the blue with the Nick Fury figure, though where it's going to be I'd be wholly guessing.

Have a look at Scarlett Johansson in Iron Man 2. Her hair was longer, now think when Lego started working on the designs and if they saw cuts of the movie in progress or merely stills. It's lego, when has the hair ever been truly accurate?

Have a wee quick look at your sigfig, then at your username Lego hair like real life haircuts and hair styles can be unisex, I know....It's only my opinion that I think automatically of that hair being male and that fig from the car/caravan set I dislike as much as the same head they put on the lady garbage truck employee. Maybe a dark red version of the barbarella/space girl may have worked a bit better than the piece they have chosen(Again long). The character itself isn't worth/doesn't need a new mold it seems, neither is Thor. I am surprised at that considering it is such a big licence.

Be interesting to see its height in comparison to Diagon Alley and if it stood out too much.

The piece Lego have picked is probably the best of what's around and it's a decent fit tbh. The hair suggested as being better just screams male to me due to it being in the PoP sets and the scientist from ADU HQ.

It looked like a finished model from the video. I wonder if it will be a D2C Monster Fighters set or modular(Even Creator but it looks too big for that) Whatever theme it fits into it has so many uses as a modular, part of a city layout(Fireman.Police,nuisance kids), Monster Fighters,Harry Potter and Batman. If I thought about it further it could probably fit many more recent and past themes

Brace yourself! I think they'll be out for late April as A1 comics have taken a pre order from me suggesting mid to late April. However I'm not too keen to spend too much money on the line if there is a TDKR set to appear from nowhere

All which suggests that the Spiderman set will fit into the same price point as the funhouse at £40/$40. This is the set that holds most interest with me in this line, probably because I know the least about it and I read a lot of Spiderman before I read Batman. Assuming like for like with the DC sets I hope Lego sticks to form and includes a random villain with Doc Ock in the set and maybe hangs Mary Jane over a Barrel/open manhole rather than have random civilians and henchman. Thats my hope anyway.

Fair play Where is Jean Paul Valley in all of this? Lego Azrael is what I need Lego....can you hear me? Be interesting to see all the different Robin costume designs done in lego with official parts. However I can see young Damian going the same way as Jason, maybe just my opinion. Writing comics must be like being on a long term soap, just make it up and hope not too many people notice. I hope they bring back Dick Grayson Robin next year, he would have been better suited to the funhouse set.
