  1. I think it only reasonable they just don't talk to each other(in real life) for a month or so Brings new meaning to "Sleeping With The Enemy" though.
  2. That Lightningtiger is cruel! This would have worked a whole lot better if posted under e.g Whitefangs name but fair play for all the text and very general comments that made it feel like a review
  3. I can only assume your comment about copyright is in relation to The Lego group and Marvel for posting on other sites? Whilst it is good form and manners to credit source on the internet I trust you aren't exercising any rights over the image?
  4. Spidey set is August, its on Lego's own twitter account
  5. I'm in the UK, so of no help to you. John Lewis online for those who are.
  6. Picked this set up myself today, if the Cap set gets a wee bit cheaper I'll probably pick it up but this set and the Loki cosmic cube set are good value for minifigs and what the set comprises Edit: May be slight heresy linking to another site but they seem to be doing a "slow reveal/tease" review of the Quinjet My link
  7. I see on twitter that the Spiderman set isn't due for release until August(official Lego tweet). Wonder when we will get to see the set then?
  8. No surprises I fear, the full character sheet from the comic book. Compared it to one from DC line that had all the heroes, villains and civilians from every set Its very dark in Scotland now and a photographer I ain't
  9. 1) I'm around Eurobricks posting, reading or lurking everyday. I feel I am a courteous member and can string a sentence together. Initially I had quite a scathing opinion of mafia perhaps because I may be guilty of taking myself too seriously and not letting go to the roleplay aspect of it all but reading through Imhotep at New Year went a long way to making me think again. Eager to learn and try something different. 2) Thanks to having a grandmother from Austria my favourite fairytale was a much tampered version of a story called The Story of a Boy Who Went Forth to Learn Fear.
  10. Back page of included comic
  11. There is no mention of Fury in the character page included with the comic book in the set only the characters we have seen already plus the Spiderman set. Also Iron mans helmet is not as bulky as an ADU/CMF helmet
  12. Thanks, phone kept on telling me that the image extension wasn't allowed. Thanks for making it more visible
  13. Here is Spidey and chums, apologies for blurry camera phone image My link
  14. Interestingly enough John Lewis.com is showing Loki Cosmic cube and Wolverine chopper showdown to order on the website. I just ordered Loki Cosmic cube to pick up from Glasgow tomorrow afternoon and they debited my credit card so hopefully I'll have it tomorrow night.
  15. Yup Glasgow has CMF series 7 though they still have a lot of 6 on the shelves too and are not scanning cheaply
  16. Ill have a check of that tomorrow
  17. Reminds me of both when I lived in Boston and of alternative builds you got with Lego in the 80s and 90s, in a really great way. It has also has a lovely crossover feel with the 60s Batmobile flashes and styling. This MOC feels really fresh and it yet again proves that he may be the Dark Knight but is also Bruce Wayne playboy underneath it all, poor Stephanie will be chewed up like all the others
  18. Price aside it looks like Lego are going to push boundaries on the exclusive rarer figures they produce outwith sets. The Iron Man/Bucky Barnes Captain America at NY toyfair, Lex luthor in I'm guessing a comic inspired suit complete with a new head and pieces that are either new or in new colours. Makes me hopeful that the fig in the Batman dictionary later in the year may be as obscure
  19. Lego will pay for use of the licence from DC/WB Marvel/Disney. They will not pay actors directly for their image/likeness rights. Any money they(the actors) make off the sale of lego sets will be from the residual fee or percentage negotiated in their contract for all merchandise.
  20. Even though they are unprinted and the figure originates from an ebay auction in Mexico?
  21. Does anyone on this forum actually believe that real life actors look like their corresponding lego minifigure to the point that they will receive likeness royalties?
  22. Once again I'm proving sarcasm doesn't come across well on the internet Should away and hide until the January wave comes in..........
  23. Three years old but didn't Nick Fury look very different in Wolverine and The X men? All this talk of Nick Fury minifigures and not one about Mary Jane and will lego get her curves right? Will she look more like Kirsten Dunst or Emma Stone? Will the face again look like a fairly generic "sexy" lego female face? or will it be a perfect facsimile of "real" life. You think lego would be open to making a "Damsels in Distress" battlepack for both universes? Back on topic, I too noticed that the Two face chase has "relocated" on S@H, but no idea why that would be? Could it be in limited supply now? For those in the UK, John Lewis say they will have the line from the middle of next month
  24. Before your time maybe, but like tin-tin,smurfs etc it has reached UK shores. Used to be on when I was young(1980s) and went to De Eemhof & Het Heijderbos centre parcs in Netherlands, took me a few minutes but I got there to realise what it was................. Thankfully it hasn't dragged on like the Simpsons though, deserves its iconic status but shouldn't be on anymore imo. Excellent campaign, southpark being my favourite
  25. Im sure there is a legendary George Lucas minifig somehwere I read about. Not released in sets. To be fair a lot of them could be made with the many unique hairpieces and torsos that have been released the last few years
