Well, it looks like the Technic competition is moved to October and there will be some changed to the actual competition itself. Also, it looks like Jeppe is pretty excited with the 2013 Technic line-up. I hope it is a supercar with a gearbox and everything. Maybe a construction vehicle that has never been built before? Wait, what's wrong with the Unimog's cv-joints? I bought it a while ago but I never got to building it yet. Is there anything else I should know that is wrong with the Unimog (parts wise)?

It's gorgeous!! But don't you think the rear wheels kind of stick out a tad bit too far? Otherwise, I love the closed design.

Well, I do not see any animosity on this forum, maybe because I am pretty new. There are courageous people out there who are brave enough to post their creations for us. I have never really seen any negative criticism and I encourage everybody not to put any negative criticism, unless it is absolutely necessary. And no trollish behavior, it does not help. EDIT Don't moderators ban stupid people from here? I have seen a couple of previous people who have been banned because they posted rude comments.

There just the normal pictures. You can clearly see the arrows showing pitch for the blades.

After zooming into the source pictures, I was able to find little arrows on the main rotor blade farthest from us. That means there will be pitch, I know it! Yes!!! Hold on, I am posting pictures on brickshelf (you can see the arrows on the picture above).

I think pressurizing the cylinder would help when you want to drop the arm, no? Just pump a lot of air into the pneumatic cylinder when raising, this may hep (idea given to me by somebody else).

Man did I flip when I got the Unimog! I always wanted one since I first saw it in 2010. It is amazing but now I want 8285 and 8258 because I kind of missed buying them.

I know it is too late but I wanted to show you guys anyways. I present to you, the mini dual engine speedboat! It has authentic functions and it is only 5 studs by 16 studs. it looks pretty good but I don't think I captured the right angle of the nose. And it is yellow. I used 8t gears as the props and there are two sunburned hill-billies riding in the boat (the two 2L red axles). I don't know specific names but functions include tilting both engines up and down using a 8t gear and worm gear combination. It is pretty effective and I have to turn the 12t gear in the heart of the body to tilt the engine. One downside is because of the lack of space, I have to turn it from the bottom. Here is a picture with the engines down. Here is a picture with the engines up. The second function includes moving the engines left to right (again, I don't know the specific name for this function). because of the lack of space, I couldn't put any solid linkage or gears to turn them so I used cables. Actually, its thin black string and it works very well and fluidly. To turn the engines, I have to tilt the hill-billies forwards and backwards, kind of like joy-sticks. It isn't authentic but i couldn't get a steering wheel or something in there. To turn left, the left hill-billy has to tilt back and the right one has to tilt forwards. To turn right, it the opposite. Overall, I am happy with this little creation, even if I am to late for the contest.

So, no more entries? I got one but it is small and I think there is no more time.

Come on everybody, lets start voting! Besides, how does this Cusoo thing specifically work? If the Vampire GT gets 10 000 votes, does it become an official set after some modifications from lEGO and hit the stores?

Does anybody have any information on 9398? Its been along time since we've got an update.

Studying the truck, it seems to sag where the battery compartment is. Does this affect the functions in anyway (because the axles that are directly underneath must be bending)? Also, is there anyway to correct this by not changing the chassis at all (like adding vertical beams or something because I like to keep models as original as possible)?

I feel like I just got fooled, again.

So, is it true, will Lego release this set?

How tall would the b-model of 8288 be? This set seems pretty amazing but my budget doesn't agree with the price. Actually, it doesn't agree with any price of any set!
