Remember , Techinc is not only for adults. A semi truck with Unimog wheels would be MASSIVE as well as expensive, including time consuming to build. We just need something that would woo kids, adults, and wallets! (a semi with normal tires would also be pretty big)

I like the automatic transmission.

I like red and yellow . Maybe also bley and black. But what we need is a re-release. I really want to see something like 8455 or a stud less supercar resembling 8880. Maybe even something newer such as 8285. I also loved 8258. Something in similar fashion to that set should come out (maybe some sort of firetruck?).

8110 all the way . You have ample time to get 9398 but because 8110 is a licensed set, it will be out of production faster. Anyways, it is a very big and beautiful set!

After looking at the secondary model picture of the helicopter 9396, I saw something similiar to this, but with round balls on the end except of little plates and it was bley. I think this is used to help control the pitch of the main blades for the b-model and maybe the a-model. Cool!

I love everything, except the motor do look a little "ugly," even though they are new.

2012 set list update

8070 should be around till 2013 but I am not sure about 8110 because it is a set using licence. So I would get 8110 soon and maybe wait for 8070 (or if you want to buy it right now, go ahead).

Me too, I also think 8110 is a good set to start with. You get a whole lot of pieces and many different ones too. I am not telling you to build the set but take the pieces and experiment with them, create small mocs and get used to Technic and its system. This way, you can begin building official sets and get how they work. Well, get started!

This car is actually really nice. I like the independent adjustable ride height, so smooth!

A better telehandler would be nice concerning construction vehicles. Buy a proper supercar is seriously needed. EDIT OOOOH! A tank would be cool but i think it won't set a good example for them little kids. But on the contrary, kids are exposed to stuff like the avengers and stuff. I honestly do not know why they don't make a tank.

I think the Extreme Cruiser was a limited edition set.

To be honest, I really do not like chrome or silver pieces. I just don't like pieces that are painted. The only reason I like about these Ningaco or Hero Factory or Bionicle sets is they are the only theme to include pieces in wacky colors!

You know, I also wanted TLG to do a new and cool firetruck. They haven't done a good one in years. PF's on it would be nice, as long as it isn't to large (or the price we be over the top).
