  1. I am going to vote for Captain Roger Goodenarde, mainly because of his absurd suggestion to vote randomly, to me at least, it seems more logical to vote for people that act suspicious, than for a random person. Since a random sacrifice will have odds against the innocent's favor. His reasoning for suggesting this are very thin it seems, and I would have thought that an experienced man like himself would not make such a mistake if he was innocent. Furthermore, he brought up that I was among the people that didnt comment on the debate, I would like to urge the captain to reconsider what I said, or it could be seen as suspicious activity... Also, a random sacrifice would'nt make NEARLY as good as a story! So without further ado, I vote Captain Roger Goodenarde (Professor Flitwick)
  2. Maybe 'any' is British slang for annihilate... Just throwing it out there...
  3. Pulls out notebook. A good fight is always good for an article, way to spice things up, Mr Attabar and Mr Fitzwilliam! Although not 'sacrificing' someone is statistically a better option, I doubt the big evil statue will let us get away with it. Mr Fitzwilliam, you say you have been very active for the town so far, do you mean your duel of words with our cook, or is there more to it? It may just be my enhanced sense of seeing a sensational piece in everything, but am I the only one that thinks that it almost looks like Ahmed Apu is defending Mehmet Attabar? That would certainly be very suspicious, especially at this point.
  4. It's 1936, the egyptian education system must be terrible! Instead they feed you people nonsense about Internets... Pfff!
  5. Pulls out notebook. Cultists? Dark side? The masses will LOVE this! Oooh, when I publish this, I will be the most famous reporter in all of Scotland! My name, Mellifluous Murgatroyd, will be on everyone's lips!
  6. Guts jumped down into the duelling pit, only his weapon in hand, Ready to attack Dak from the front row!
  7. Do any of the other arena masters wanna do the battle between Guts and Dak?
  8. Guts walks in the arena, the size of the Heroica building never seized to amaze Guts, sometimes he wondered if the city was build around the hall, instead of the hall inside the city. Looking down in the pit, Guts saw Sarick and the weird little rogue that always seemed lost in thought, circling around each other. Walking up to the arena supervisor, Guts said bluntly: Right, I challenged Dak (Darthnihilus) to a duel, when can we fight?
  9. "Heh kid, sounds to me you are scared! I, Guts Holla challenge you, Dak, to a duel in the arena!"
  10. Guts looked up from his bottle, and saw the rogue Dak come his way. "Well, well... If it isnt the half-elf with the split personality. Don't you find that at least a little bit funny, kid? Does one of your personalities seem more elven than the other?" Laughing about himself, Guts suddenly stopped when Dak brought up the Darkstar, with a more serious look in his eyes, Guts answered the question: "Aye, kid. I signed up for Quest 20... Gives me some quality time with my shovel, Haha."
  11. Scribbles on notebook: Mellifluous Murgatroyd is here, in Egypt, where a group of explorers have stumbled on something AMAZING. A large statue - Looks up from notebook: Oh, Hi. Im Mellifluous Murgatroyd, reporter for the Edinburgh Times! Is, I just want to say, your hair is LOVELY:wub: .
  12. Guts walks up to the blacksmith, and sells his Shortsword (15 gold), his cutlass (20 gold) and his gold ore (80 gold) for a total of 115 gold. (making his total gold 195) Then he lets Anwyl upgrade Lifestealer to WP:7 ( 60 +70 gold = 130 gold 195-130 =65 gold) After that, he leaves for the hall, back to his bottle of wine.
  13. I knew someone was going to do this! It looks cool, it must be a pain to get a hold of the romans though. Imagine that those are actually supposed to connect to each other, then the size is actually alright
  14. Construction of an embassy in nocturnus has begun! (picture was taken with phone :/)
  15. Guts did not have to look up from his wine to see that Sarick was approaching, only one being made such a sound while walking - or slithering, as it was. The snakeman asked: "Did you travel far from the city? Run into any trouble along the way?" Guts grinned as he said that, even though Sarick could not see that, it was not hard to hear the amused tone in the rogue's voice: "Alright Scaly, this is what happened. There was a ship waiting for us, we left the island, as the 'general' promised. If I told you the journey was noteworthy, I would lie. No storms, no seamonsters, hell - not even a bloody pirate. The ship took us southwards, to the city of Miranda. There, Sorrow - or Sorona, if you will - and General Haroka decided to lay on the beach for an undefined amount of time. After some time, they just told me to leave... So I snuck on a ship heading back to Eubric, and here I am. There was no suspicious behaviour by the two of them, no dark rituals and no magic." Guts got increasingly agitated, telling the story to Sarick, after taking another big sip to calm himself down, Guts continued: "This trip was not a revelation, they did not try to persuade me into the dark arts, it was not even interesting... The only thing this thing was, was a massive waste of my time."
  16. I think it depends on the feedback rating this seller has, if he has a decent amount of feedback, I wouldnt worry, but of course the risk is your own, although I must say I find it strange someone would disable the option for insurance (especially if the seller is european?)
  17. Hello, I would like to join, 1) I played as Sir Carrots in Def's The Witchbreed Mafia School, and passed. (I also played similair games in RL, but the question is about EB) 2) I'm available, I check in multiple times a day on most days. 3) The best Mafia moment here on EB for myself was when I had figured out who the last two scum were in the Witchbreed Mafia School, and I had protected the right person as a doctor to kill one of them off. It also was good when the town won, in the same game .
  18. Shipping companies usually offer insurance, which means that if something would happen to the package during shipping, you will get your money back, or at least part of it. The value that is insuranced usually varies, so it is a good idea to check how much is insuranced. On Bricklink, when placing an order, you can choose to get it insuranced, except if the seller has disabled that option.
  19. Picked up 5 random S6 Minifigures: 2 highlanders 1 robot 1 genie 1 butcher quite happy with that!
  20. Hi, I was thinking there might be someone that can help me on here, Today I got an order in my bricklink store, 1 of the items is Fluffy (Link) The problem is, it does not fit in an enveloppe, completely assembled, If it stays like this, it will have to go in a box, which will effectively double the shipping costs (which are already quite much). Now, on bricklink it shows that it is apparantly possible to take it apart, proven by this: link. But there seems to be no easy way to do this, I don't want to risk damaging it. Now my question is: Does anyone know how to take the brown body and the black legs apart?
  21. The door to Heroica Hall opened, it was raining, and cold outside, one could better be indoors. In came a tired, wet man. his face was covered by black strips of cloth, but the few patrons that looked towards the door could still see the disappointment in the man's eyes. Guts looked around, the place was exactly as it was when he first left it, to 'search for the Darkstar'. The only difference was that there were a few people now, that he had'nt seen before. It did'nt matter, this place would be his home for the coming time, for how long? Guts did not know, it could be days, weeks or months... Thinking about this, Guts got lost in thought. Time, it was relative, but also absolute, especially for those whose time is limited. The last thought brought a bitter smirk on his face. Slowly, Guts walked towards the table he had began to favor in the time he had spent in the Hall before. On it's way, the rogue grabbed a half-full bottle of wine from an empty table, and grabbed a mostly clean mug from another. On the way, the rogue passed the Questboard, he took a quick look, and scribbled something that could -with some effort- be deciphered as Holla, under Quest #20. Cave exploration, might as well, it had proven he had a knack for excavating in the past quest. A skill he wished he had discovered he possessed sooner, perhaps his life would have gone differently... The Ziegfrieds also needed more help, apparantly. Guts sighed, he would be damned if that family was not the most incapable bunch, despite their apparant skill with magic. They continously need help from Heroica Hall, and his recent adventure had learned Guts that they were not the best in picking their associates. Finally the rogue arrived at the table, luckily there was no one else sitting there. Guts took a sip from the bottle, put the bottle and mug on the table, and unstrapped his equipment. The rogue dropped his weapons and his valued shovel on the table, and made himself comfortable on a chair. Guts looked at the mug, before tossing it aside, why use a mug, if you can drink right from the bottle. And that is what the rogue then did, he drank, it is not like he had anything better to do.
  22. Not a movie, but a video game, try playing Assassin's creed, both the first one, and the latest one can give you quite a bit of inspiration, if you need it.
  23. Can I ask a friendly mod to close this topic, since I now have a bricklink store (Link). And have no need for this topic, thanks
  24. Now that its over, I also have some things to say about the quest, First off, I want to thank you, Rumble, for hosting, I had a lot of fun! The story and characters were great, and I really liked the fact that you went along with my questioning against Sorrow, and other things. The only criticism I might have, would be that the battles we were in were all pretty easy, and although part of that could be accounted for by lucky dice rolls, I felt that some fights could have been harder (crocodile fight, specials were not anything terrifying, only make the fight longer). I really liked being on the quest, thanks for picking me, and I would join another of your quests in an instant. Also, I am kind of curious to see if there is going to be a sequel
