In the meantime, during the indecision on what way to go, Guts slept in his bedroll to restore health. -

I am going to do this, if this turns out to be a mistake, at least we wont have convicted a virgin, which is good . Protector is a very easy and defendable role to claim as a scum, him being scum would make a degree of sense, and it is the best thing we have so far, I doubt anyone would disagree with that. If anyone has other visions or accusations to make, PLEASE bring them forward! Vote: Nicholas Hoare (Fugazi) -

If he really was immune to a night kill and two investigations, it is trouble. He could be third party or scum, but since he never told anyone, even people that trusted him, that he was 3rd party, I think scum is actually the likely option. I am going to follow William's judgement once again, and hope there is no made up stuff in this accusation. This evidence seems pretty solid. -

You may realise that was only on the first part of the day, after my last post that time, I got some more info, and stopped going for him. -

Pfff thats obviously because the Maersk Madness is a very strange and volatile disease, and the effects vary on a case by case basis . -

Yeah, how about coming up with any real evidence? I am sorry, but I am really sceptical against this sort of thing now. Saying someone might be scum because they look pro-town??? -

Are the people that did not vote really any better? There certainly was little said about going for someone else . Plus, imagine a scum's defense, I did not vote for the virgin, so I am innocent... -

You are missing the point. It doesn't matter if he was stupid. As I said, his action was dumb, but he was also a VIRGIN. When I voted, I did not know that the investigation result was fake (I could have read over it, dont know if it was mentioned in the thread at that point, will check later.). When I discovered that, there was little point in unvoting, and no chance to convince people to sway their votes. I told some people in private I thought it was a stupid stunt, but that doesnt matter. The point is, A virgin is dead. Why is a virgin dead? Because of stupidity, from two ways. -

Seriously though, what the hell were you thinking? A fake investigation result? The only proof we had was a statement, a very dumb statement, sure. But really, this stunt was incredibly stupid (or the other option:hmpf_bad:). William, I encourage you to check the people you are talking to, especially the ones that told you this was a good idea. -

Just to get his clear, the apparant result was "Not Innocent", correct? Seeing as virgins ARE Innocent, I think it is pretty clear he is scum. I don't suppose the investigator got a 'thought' result? -

Alright then, I stopped going for him the beginning of the day because of his claim, while I was of course not sure about it, the words he used just make it seem less likely that he is. Vote: Hans Gubernaculum (Bob) -

Alright, "found" may be a too strong word, but I have a strong suspicion that this person is scum. My suspicion of Mustafa was right, so I ask that you hear me out, and don't shout at me for being stupid. In honor of the late Mehmet I will say this in his style, by the form of a play! The following takes place on a previous day! Me in the day thread: Oh boy, that Mehmet is pretty suspicious! Susp I. Ciouspersen, In pm: Pssssst, I agree! Mehmet is suspicious! Later, Susp I. Ciouspersen, In pm: Psssst, I knew it all along that person was scum, I said something at one point in one sentence and then never did anything with it. ------ I am getting tired of doing this in play form... So anyway... I have been chatting with this person, and never really got ANYTHING useful, at all. This is weird, because I am not the one that started the conversation. You could say that this person is just being extremely careful, and I would agree, but this much? I don't know. This person, has shared suspicions with me, sure, But the suspicions I was told, were either extremely safe ones to make (Quiet people, for instance, or people that had taken some flak already) or people I mentioned I suspected. Furthermore, this person has been plain unhelpful and quiet in the day threads, often only coming around to comment on what is happening, and summarizing. Yesterday, this person broke that habit, and actively started helping pursue Betty, but this is not absolving in my view, as Betty's guilt was more or less clear from the get-go, and I can imagine the scum decided to abandon the sinking boat called Betty. This may seem like a thin accusation, but there is more, but that would be revealing this person's identity. I encourage this person to defend itself in either private, or publicly, against my accusation. Lastly, I would like to remind everyone that I was right about BD, so consider what I said. -

"Bad idea, shade. These corpses won't attract more attention than their living forms until they start to smell... Well, more so than usual, I mean. Also, the smell and smoke from their burning is bound to attract attention, not to mention it will make it harder to breath in this mine, the smoke will have no where to go..." As the rogue was talking about smoke, his mind flashed back to the past, to Strivvi... As soon as the memory had come, it went away again. His face, hidden behind the wrappings, was without emotion. -

OOC: The numbers aren't totally right, I think. Dak should have done 3 x 7 + 7 damage. so 28, not 22. Swindle did a critical hit, so 2 x 2 + 1 = 5 x 2 because of fire damage, = 10 damage. Swindle's damage wouldnt have changed anything, so the only thing that this would change is that Dak gets 56 gold from this battle instead of 44. Guts spits on the corpse of one of the wolves. Then he digs for treasure with his shovel! -

You are not even trying to make sense, man. What I am saying is, you knew that nightkills from other sources also would end up in the statue. Since tonight the killer killed a virgin that ended in the statue, I say the following. QUI BONO? who benefits? Thats right, the cultists. Now you are pushed in the corner, and try to turn that back at me... It is not going to work, you scummy son of a camel.
