  1. With a couple of empty bottles next to him, and one eye on a new one, Guts answered: "The wine is alright. Not as good as my memory told me it was, but that is often how these things are, aren't they? You call my last victory luck? Where did that attitude come from, kid? I'll fight you, sure, but not to settle differences. I'll fight because you asked, and it is what I am reduced to, a bloody fighter, ready at whim. I'll hop by the marketplace, then I expect you ready at the arena." With a slight but noticable off balance, Guts gets up, and after a moment of regaining that balance, the rogue heads towards the marketplace, with a fast pace.
  2. This is the correct Link.
  3. Very classy response to a sarcastic remark, when my words were editted.
  4. Here are my thoughts: First off, thank you very much for hosting! As Rumble said, It would have been better if you could post more often, the whole thing felt really slow, at times. Which is not great, I think the quest would be much more involving and interesting if the pace was a bit quicker. That ties in with my second point: The whole quest was basically explore-a-maze. Which is fine, for a little bit, but since we had absolutely no clue which way we should go, it was basically guesswork each time. This is definitely a personal thing, though. I really liked your pictures, they were great, I also liked the battles, although I really urge you to be careful with how you describe the enemy's special abilities, but we have been over that. The difficulty of the enemies, I think, was fine, but we were just very lucky on the last few fights, I think. The battle with the bats was too easy, though. The loot seemed really low for the most part, but I think the rewards we got near the end made up for that, and then some. As Rumble said, the end was kind of an anticlimax, but perhaps you are planning a sequel? I don't know. Perhaps there could have been an actual bossfight, but if you are indeed thinking about doing another quest with the same theme, I can understand why there was not one. A last tip: Choose a cleric in the party next time, it allows for much harder fights, and thus: more interesting ones. The fact that we did not have one, meant that a battle would soon be seen as too hard, I think. Overall it was a good quest, I hope you see my points as constructive, and thanks again for hosting
  5. Guts entered the hall. He was a dark figure, his clothes and armour still dusty, from the long time in the cave. A quick look told him that not much had changed, since he had last left. On his way to his usual table (The one in the corner, with view on the door) He saw several heroes he knew the names of, were it through meeting them, or through reports he had read. Along the heroes he saw, were Eric, who looked significantly different since Guts last saw him, Lawrence Boomingham, who Guts had read several reports on, Haldor, the Norseman who had used his name and others. Finally, the rogue reached his table, pleasantly surprised it was empty. After unloading his equipment, installing several fragments of a mirror around the table (so he could see what happened in most of the hall) and ordering a bottle of wine from a serving girl, Guts went down to the Questing Board. After some thought, he decided to scribble his name under two quests. With the usual 'Holla' he signed up for Quest #26 and Quest #27. He then went back up to his table, to slowly get drunk from the fine wine.
  6. I believe we should also all have a writ of blacksmith service
  7. "Hmpf, something tells me he'll be fine. If that is all, I will be heading back to the hall." I assume we can leave?
  8. I hope you die in a fire.
  9. In mafia, no. But in Heroica you can. This is just a plain stupid thing, it is VERY enjoying and pointless.
  10. No seriously, this is just annoying. I made a mistake in the heroica section, and now I can't change it. thanks a lot.
  11. Actually I saw you were posting only after I already had most of the post worked out. I will undo it. But... I can't edit my posts. Thanks a lot, removed the profanity from the filter.
  12. The party decides to not give up the keystone, with two votes to zero. Dozenhands speaks: "You made your choice. Very well." He then turns to the man next to him, and says: "Barr, I got to handle the assault. I trust you to handle this." "But, I am not yet.." "Silence. Just handle it, meet up with me later." Dozenhands then throws a smoke bomb on the ground. When the smoke clears up, Dozenhands is nowhere to be seen, and the remaining Wolfgang are in offensive position. On nearby rooftops, the heroes can make out two men with crossbows, the snipers Dozenhands mentioned. PREPARE FOR BATTLE! 13. Let me correct my earlier statement. Everyone knows the staff AND the fellow are basically Shadows' lackeys.
  14. I am a carrot and I am offended?
  15. Everyone knows the fellows are basically the staff's personal lackeys.
  16. It seems I was right. Unfortunately. Shame on you, staff! Shame on you.
  17. What will our lovely staff and fellows think of this time? Probably something amazing, that will totally not cause confusion . I saw some names converted into symbols, Is that it?
  18. Not impossible, just wanna point it out.
  19. "Sigh. Threats, always so charming. I give you one last chance to reconsider. I like to point out you outnumbered, surrounded, and there are snipers on the rooftops. you don't stand a chance."
  20. For a split second, Dozenhands seems confused, then he replies: "Are you serious? Here is my offer, you give me the Keystone, you get to live. Seems like a good deal to me. Believe me when I say you do not want the Wolfgang as an enemy."
  21. Thanks guys . Will finish it soon, hopefully!
