  1. "Alright, if there is nothing more here, let's go." Just to make sure, Guts dug around for treasure with his shovel.
  2. "Alright, shall we move on? What are our options?" I should have 4 meads left. ;)
  3. They are not so easy to obtain, though.
  4. 24 hours have passed, I placed Nyx against the Pikeman, and the Spider against the Crossbowman A, same battle order. Results of Round 10 of the Wolfgang Battle. Spider vs.Crossbowman A - Hit Cronk vs. Spearman - Shield Guardian Angel Rufindel heals Nyx - Shield Miracle Atramor vs. Swordsman A - Damage Nyx vs. Pikeman - Magic Counter Free hits Crossbowman B vs. Spider - 7 Halberdeer vs. Cronk- 0 Neither sides are giving in, and the battle continues, Cronk and Rufindel decides it is best to pray to their Gods, and their queries are heard, as the party is both blessed by a miracle, the bright light heals everyone to full health, including Nyx's spider, and Cronk's angel once again appears to protect the party in the next turn. While Atramor is being healed by the bright lights, the swordsman takes this oppertunity to slashes at Atramor, dealing 5 damage to the rogue. Nyx's spider jumps on the head of the Crossbowman, and manages to deal 5 damage to the man. Nyx is still seemingly duelling with the Pikeman, Pike against Book, Nyx charges herself with Dark energy, and although the Pikeman manages to inflict 4 damage, Nyx is stronger, and the darkness takes the Pikeman out. The other crossbowman manages to shoot the Spider off his colleague's head, dealing 7 damage, and Cronk's always strong shield protects him from the Halberdeer. 5. I have played all three games, the first two multiple playthroughs even. Without a doubt, the games have had some of the best storytelling in a videogame, I can't think of any better, at least. I definitely enjoyed the games, and while the ending of ME3 is in my opinion a giant failure on Bioware's part, I still enjoyed the many hours it took to play through that game as well, making it money well spent, regardless. With spoilering as little as possible, I wish they did the ending like they did it with Dragon Age: Origins. People who played that game know at the end of the game, you had little paragraphs of text describing the fates of the characters after the ending of that game, accompanied by concept art/nice game scenes. I think that would have made ME3's ending just so much better, and it could not have been to hard to do. The current ending is just so... unsatisfying, maybe?
  6. "Hmpf, this artifact sounds particularly useless, but to each his own. It's true Heroica helps those that need, but a reward is customary. From what I gather, you being here alone and looking for an artifact that you hope will make you rich and famous, you don't have the monetary means to afford us helping you. Let me tell you about our mission, we were send here to exterminate spiders, not rescuing bards. Consider what we did a personal favour, in other words: you owe us. And if you want to stick to that analogy, my singing voice is not what it should be, so you're skills seem pretty lacking, to me. Bluntly said: Be aware that if we take you, you are a liability, make no mistake." Guts sighed, turned to the party and said: "I'm prepared to have him tag along with us, on the conditions he limits his vocal contributions to a bare minimum, and takes care not to alert anything to our presence. Furthermore: he is to stay with us until we say he is to go, he shall hold no share in any loot or the reward, and during battle, he must not hinder us in any respect." Looking at all party members and the bard, the rogue then asked: "Agreed?"
  7. "What exactly is this 'Forever Song'? And why would we help you? Can you handle yourself in battle?"
  8. "Good work. If the other spiders are like this, we will be out of here before sundown." Guts cleaned his sword with a rag, before sheathing it, downed another mead for the next battle, and asked: "So. Singer, tell us why you are here. Without breaking into song."
  9. Didn't actually fight them, but I have to say: Haroka and Sorona. Until we meet again
  10. Results of Round 9 of the Wolfgang Battle. The spider's attack is skillfully blocked by the Swordsman, who raises his shield before Crossbowman B. Cronk switching targets paid off, as he can deal 29 damage with a strong blow, to the Spearman. Rufindel heals himself to full health, at the cost of an ether, but Atramor fails to hit his target, and is instead shield-bashed, and he takes 5 damage. Nyx can not avoid being struck by the nimble pikeman, taking 4 damage, but she spends 1 ether to deal 24 damage right back via a sphere of dark energy. 12. Just noticed I completely messed up the free hits for the former half of the battle, since the party seems to be ok now, I won't fix it... Results of Round 8 of the Wolfgang Battle. Spider vs. Crossbowman A - Miss Cronk vs. Pikeman - Meditate Rufindel heals Atramor - Heal More Atramor vs. Swordsman B - Shield Mug Nyx drinks Potion Free hits Spearman vs. Spider - 7 Swordsman A vs. Cronk - 0 Crossbowman B vs. Rufindel - 2 Halberdeer vs. Atramor - 1 With their new ally, the battle continues. The Spider seems to have trouble adjusting to this plane of existance, and completely fails to attack the Crossbowman. Cronk is still not able to hit the Pikeman, and insteads meditates behind his shield, to hopefully get insight how to defeat this foe, restoring 1 ether in the process. Atramor is now in Rufindel line of sight, and the elf sends a bright beam of healing Atramor's way, restoring all of the rogue's health. Strengthened by this healing, the former pirate runs up to the swordsman, and with one fluent movement, slashes with his blade on the height of the waist, dealing 14 damage, and grabs a pouch containing 14 gold. Meanwhile, Nyx consumes a potion, restoring 10 health. Nyx's minion loses a leg because of the spearman, and Rufindel and Atramor suffer some minor damage. 13. I disagree. it already got nerfed by a 50% price increase.
  14. *throws tomato at overpriced LOTR fleshies* I sadly think you are correct, I don't see Castle sets coming out while LOTR sets are out. This is just the way with it, I don't see the argument: Space sets come out when Star Wars sets come out as a particuarly good argument, since generic Space and Star Wars are quite different, while LOTR has the same themes as the generic Fantasy/Castle setting that Lego has been going for in the last few years. Also something to consider is this: it's very possible TLG had to sign something that involved them not bringing out products that would be too similair to the LOTR stuff.
  15. As far as I can tell, everywhere it was used, all damage was doubled.
  16. "Knfik! Keep that shield up, I'm going in dangerous!." Guts grinned, he was in his element, this time, he charged at the Giant Spider from the front row!
  17. "I believe we have found one of the problems." Guts attacks from the back row.
  18. Can I have a battle order, please?
  19. Results of Round 7 of the Wolfgang Battle. Cronk vs. Pikeman - Damage Atramor vs.Swordsman B - Critical Hit Rufindel heals Atramor - No Healing Nyx vs. Swordsman A - Magic Counter (Summon!) Free hits Spearman vs. Cronk - 0 Crossbowman A vs. Atramor - 3 Crossbowman B vs. Rufindel - 3 Halberdeer vs. Nyx - 3 Cronk and Atramor try to perform a synchronized attack, which works out partly. Cronk is too slow for the Pikeman once again, and raises his shield. This however gives Atramor an idea, and he uses Cronk's shield as a springboard to launch his attack. His recklessness does not go unrewarded, as the rogue manages to slice the swordsman for 16 damage, and restoring 2 health with his dagger's power. Rufindel tries to heal the rogue, but Atramor's badass acrobatics make him a hard target, and the healing does not reach the rogue. Meanwhile, Nyx tangles with the other swordsman, without the help of her friends. She gets hit by the swordsman's shield, and takes 4 damage, But she immediatly follows up that with a strike with her book, imbued with the power of darkness, good for 24 damage, at the cost of 1 ether. The hit must have sparked something in the book, as a spider appears from a puff of smoke, ready for Nyx to command! This drains Nyx of another ether. Once again, Atramor and Rufindel can not avoid crossbow bolts, and the Halberdeer swipes at Nyx. This leaves two of the party members with very low health, but the party now has a spider minion! 21. "The Quarry owner did not mention hiring anyone else? We should cut him down, before the beast that trapped him returns." Guts sighed and took out his blade, and said to the bard: "Watch out, don't touch the blade, it might sting." Guts cut the man loose.
  22. Thanks all for comments, gives a bit of pressure to finish it. Thanks , I was not too happy with the planking either, I'm currently thinking about an elegant solution for that. What brickwork do you mean? I am working on that too, I made a small portion of the dark tan tiles near the bottom of the curve dark gray, that looks a bit better, as a transition.

Atramor throws his Shiv, and hits the swordsman in the shoulder, dealing 21 damage. Cronk tries to bash the pikeman, but that one can dodge his attack, and would have hit Cronk, if he had not had his shield up. Meanwhile, Rufindel heals himself, for 12, at the cost of 1 ether. Nyx has had enough of the sniper, and imbues her book with the power of darkness, and with both physical and magic damage, takes the sniper out. 24. Guts grinned as Knifk spoke decisively. The orc had been his companion for all his adventures in Heroica, so far. And although they shared little words, Knifk was someone who Guts could count on in combat. Following Knifk a few paces, Guts said to the barbarian: "There was nothing of value back there, we take what we find along the way, and deal with the problem, collect our reward, and be done with this. All within the time it takes for me to run out of booze." Speaking of booze, Guts consumed a mead, to prepare for whatever was ahead.
  25. Alright, fixed both Atramor's and Nyx's health.
