I like it very much. I have something similar in my mind with my Lagoon Look Up and the bigger dock for my Blue Parrot. I just dont have the time right now for it. And the Imperial Trading Post was my inspiration for the extensions. I love how LEGO can connect ideas and minds all over the world.

Thank you! I like to keep sets as original as possible. Some sets need to be modified, others are perfect as they are. The old Eldorado is perfect. But to small in my mind. Something was missing. This one is my personal extension on my shelf. I have added an extension of the Broadside's Brig and a modified version of the Sabre Island Tower. The next step will be to extend it with a larger dock for my modified Caribbean Clipper or, as I call it now, the “Blue Parrot Pirate Hunter”. https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-212464/oki_ebi/blue-parrot-the-pirate-hunter-caribbean-clipper-mod/

10320 Eldorado Fortress Extension – Forward Base V1- MOC
oki_ebi replied to oki_ebi's topic in LEGO Pirates
I like the details of the new Eldorado. But it's also a good deal of money. That's why I didn't buy it. But I like the old one better anyway. Maybe because it's still on my shelf, with an extension that I made. Childhood memories predominate here. -
10320 Eldorado Fortress Extension – Forward Base V1- MOC
oki_ebi replied to oki_ebi's topic in LEGO Pirates
Hi. Using the same parts of a set would be an "alternate build". This is a MOC, so you need different parts to bild this one. -
May I introduce my extension for the new Eldorado Fortress [10320] from 2023. I think my extension for the old Eldorado Fortress has already been well received. Some users on social media have asked me for an extension like this for the new model and I also liked the idea. So I made one. I call this model: Forward Base Extension V1 It is of course bigger and much more detailed than the old model. And I designed it in the style of the new one. And also here nothing has to be changed on the original Eldorado to attach the extension. Only 3 round stones have to be moved a few steps forward to the edge oft he dock. Otherwise the extension is simply attached. If you are interested in this extension for the new Eldorado Fortress, you can find more details, pics and instruction on my rebrickable: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-216038/oki_ebi/10320-eldorado-fortress-extension-forward-base-v1/

I found you project on LEGO Ideas and supported it instantly. This looks awesome. And I think you are on a good way to reach 10k. This would be a great real set. Hope 8k more people will see it the same way and support you.

Some of you have already liked my Scouter Hawk. So allow me to introduce: my Assault Falcon in Blacktron design. Bigger, more massive, with cargo space and far more weapon systems. When the wings extend, a further 18 laser cannons are ready to rain down hellfire. If you are interested you can checkout my rebrickable for more infos and instruction: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-210702/oki_ebi/blacktron-assault-falcon/#details

yeah. some guy on facebook called it "Battron"

As a child, the sets of the first pirates and especially the bluecoats were a hit for me. The Eldorado Fortress was of course the highlight. But I always thought the Fortress was too small and something was missing. That's why I tried out different variants of an expansion. This is one of them. The extension is simply attached to the Eldorado set without having to change anything on the original. If you like this extension and want to see more you can find a free instruction on rebrickable. https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-208694/oki_ebi/extension-v1-for-eldorado-fortress-6276/#details

Blacktron Mega Spacewalker (aka Mega Alienator) MOC
oki_ebi replied to oki_ebi's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Yes, the double cockpit is probably too much. One cockpit would be enough and it should fit in terms of statics. I will certainly make a single cockpit for it at some point. It will probably look good too. -
This was pretty much one of my first models in Studio. I really wanted a mega version of the Alienator. The double cockpit might be a bit too much and I'm not sure if it would be stable in reality. But it looks cool. If you are interested in trying this out, you can find the instructions for free on rebrickable: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-207849/oki_ebi/blacktron-mega-spacewalker/#details

LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
oki_ebi replied to Lyichir's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Hi. Why don't you try this: The tank matches the color and the visor also matches the color in trans. Then the colors could have an even stronger meaning for the rank. -
Yeah. More white and blue trans would look awesome.

LEGO accepted my remake of the spyrius saucer scout a few days ago. So I think it also has something to do with design, presentation and originality.- 15 replies

Thanks. Wait until you see his bigger brother: The Blacktron Assault Falcon Thank you again for your explanation earlier. That certainly helped.

Hi everyone. I'm new to the forum and would like to introduce you to some of my projects. I would like to start with my Blacktron Scouter Hawk V2. My Scouter Hawk V2 with a traditional black design and some yellow accents as a tribute to the wonderful 80's space sets from my childhood. It is my first piece of work with instructions and pictures that I had published. Well, actually the V1 (version 1) was my first one, but there were some parts that are very rare and hard to get. So I made a V2. Hope you like it. For more details and the instruction you can checkout my rebrickable: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-207307/oki_ebi/blacktron-scouter-hawk-v2/#details

Yes, that's the only one missing from my Spyrius collection. I didn't know there was such a set either.
-
Hi. Thank you very much for your time and the explanation. I think I can manage that. :-) Then I might even get started today. P.s. Thanks for you support on LEGO Ideas for my Spyrius Cyclone Saucer. :-) That was you, right? Same Avatar, same username.

Hello. Thank you. I could present some of my models from Blacktron right away. I just don't know if that would be ok. I have only just registered. And to be honest, I don't really know how to start. I've been designing for a while now, but I've never presented my projects anywhere. I only started with rebrickable and LEGO Ideas about two weeks ago. Thank you :-)
