My brother @LittleJohn and I built this spaceship for SHIPtember in just over a week. Inspired by this concept art, though we used that mainly as a starting point and then went with whatever worked as we progressed. Really happy with how it turned out! Length: 106 studs. Weight: Not yet determined.

Not exactly a free build, but I certainly drew on my Mitgardian background while designing this new set And you'll notice one of the new shields has a very familiar color scheme

It's time for the Summer Joust again! If you are unfamiliar with the Summer Joust, it is a large scale castle building contest with 7 categories, a whole slew of great prizes, and loads of fun to be had! Keep the flood coming! Stunning castle here, with the beautiful rocky island setting especially grabbing my eye. Love the sheer cliff face style with vines and few small trees. And the naturally incorporated path up to the fortress, and even small beach for them to harbor at. The castle itself has a great balance of texture and detail, and plenty to admire on all sides

So good seeing you back with some more castle epicness Super pretty layout with the contrasting stone and wood structures, especially with how you setup second floor galleries under arches Fabulous use of rounded tiles to frame windows, and the doorways echo that style nicely while adding some more extravagant detailing Very pleasing combination of colors too!

Stonework of this general style has been something I've had in mind for years, but the introduction of 1x1 brackets made it so much easier to achieve Good point about the icicles, it was bothering me too, but didn't have time to try and find a better solution to get them hanging vertically. The brackets under the roofline were one of those 'aha' moments John came up with that triangle pattern and it looks so good as elaborate wood carving Thank you, we didn't end up getting a lot of different photos of this model, but will likely cover some of the designs in future tutorials. Thanks a lot, we had a blast making this and were super pleased with the final result Thank you, the inverted curved slopes were something we table scrapped, and then immediately knew had to be incorporated in the tudor sections. Aqua was a nice way of adding a little extra icy pop to the snow here. Thanks a lot Grover! We tried to put lots of love into every area of the building which led to lots of different details and designs fitting together. We'll figure out something better for the icicles angle eventually Aww, thanks so much Exetrius! It feels extra special when we get to collaborate now, living so far apart, and it always seems to bring out the best in both of us as builders. As for your guesses, we had an unusual approach for much of the tavern this time. With John building different detail chunks like the timber sections and dormers, while I then built the main bulk of the structure incorporating his work. So second floor and up were more of my work, with sections from John included. The roof of the stables was the first roof built, and was indeed made by John as was the rest of the stable. Snowscape and editing were also his handywork. I did make most of the left side of the tavern, with the exception of the timber addition. I also did the ground floor with John contributing the stairs and small shed. Trees, minifigures, and photography were all John! And actually completed after I had to return to Denmark. There are six separate wheeled 'vehicles'? Train engine, truck, forklift, and three different train cars.

I'll try that the set was launched in June, the 6th month of the year, for my first guess.

I love love love the clean lines and crisp architecture of the structures here Super use of height as well, which is nicely accentuated by the very steep rooflines Clever and space efficient shelving with the SNOT 1x1 brackets. Is that some extremely delicate sticker placement to accomplish the striped barber's pole? Looks great in any case!

Ecc is right, that house is the epitome of Mitgardianness The combination of wood and stone, the slanting walls, the rubber band detailing and rotated tile roofing... all are spot on Super pretty ice floes and water too!

Not just an incredible port, but you even included a impressive ship! Really like the brick built hull shape, and how you detailed the top of the yard with lots of 1x1 round plate with handle elements. Great choice to have a long section of the harbor wall be angled, as it adds a lot to the composition Super pretty architectural style to every building, with the blue dome and unique windows on the central structure being standouts for me

Such a stately structure Great balance of ornamental decoration and detail with the different statues, scrollwork, and several notable uses of roller skates Very elegant bridge to finish out the scene

You've improved so much over the years! Tremendous reinterpretation of your old scene. The proportions and subtle detailing of the tower and wall look fantastic, and the the functional portcullis and windlass mechanism was an unexpected but splendid surprise Excellent use of color for the small houses, and a gorgeous fountain design. I don't recall seeing many representations of that sort of fountain in LEGO form, and yours is top-notch.
