Mini sets at Target. I'm in.
-
I definitely think that the line can at least go on for another year or two. There are still many sets that could be made, including some iconic scenes. These include the Tank scene in TLC, the Zepplin from TLC, Club Obi-wan from TOD, some sort of India set from TOD (could include elephants), Ravenwood bar from ROTLA, and the sub and boat from ROTLA, the Ark opening in ROTLA, the list could go on...

Ummm. I'm risking this, but WTF?

First, let me say that this is fantastic. It looks very realistic, without being overworked. I do agree with Hinckley though, you should try removing that 1x1 round piece to make it more arrow like, and less like a cross.

What does this have to do with "What set should I buy"? Anyway, its an alright figure, but I wouldn't spend more than $5 on it...

That's cool! You really capture the look of rust! Nice job.

I can't stand when people on here refer to obscure sets by only their set number. I understand common ones, with easy numbers, like 7676 Republic Gunship, which is easy to remember because its one of the most popular sets and has a number thats easy to remember. I'm talking about "Oh, I just got set 1461 and that gray thing in the back is really annoying." This leads me wonder what the hell they are talking about. and so I have to go to Brickset (provided I care enough...) and search for it. You could at least give the set name or at least describe it....

Whoa! That is an impressive collection! Have you considered making a "tabletown" layout? It would be very nice if you did.

Happy Birthday, hope you all get some nice gifts....

New pictures of female figure from camper from Brickshelf...

I agree with 5150 Lego , and also hate it when people get angry when they see the word "Legos." That's how I grew up saying it, and I really have no plans on changing it. You all must admit, that most of you didn't know it was just "Lego" before you got involved in the community. I understand that the company says it that way, but I don't see how its that big of a deal. I really don't.

I know, I am worrying about it not being released in the US. Its such a cool little set, and I would hate to see a similar fate as the Good Wizard. Maybe they will release it with the summer wave, it seems that wave consists of more sets similar to this...
-
Now that you mention it, I remember someone said something about it for the January wave. It would make a great exclusive ($20-30-ish would be nice, there are way too many higher priced sets than the smaller ones ) Who knows, maybe they will make it a $50 set and have it the Target exclusive this year. My only (minor) complaint would be that it seems that there are way too many cheap Separatist based sets and way too many expensive Republic based sets. I wish they would come out with some smaller Republic ships, as it seems that all of the cheap sets are based on the droid army (Hailfire droid, Homing Spider Droid, Droid Gunship, Hyena Bomber etc.) I definitely think there should be some balance, price AND size wise. Anyone else agree with me?

Maybe its not. But it is more accurate brown, as opposed to gray. When it comes down to it, Lego for whatever reason, purposely changed what was in the set (something new) to something else (old head, which many already have). Sure, its not a huge deal, but it is an annoyance. If I were to buy that set, that head will probably be one of the factors that I will consider.

Thank you for the info, Legomilk, but what do you mean by "between"?

That is great. I love that sign. Any plans for an interior?

If I may suggest a smaller contest, that would be great. I think the contest entries that I am most impressed with tend to be the small ones. It wouldn't matter what it is, it could be something like "build a sidewalk scene", "build a City style vehicle that isn't Fire, Police, etc." Even another impulse contest would be fun...
-
That would be a good idea. You could also take a few pictures of each of the buildings and stick them in the baggies so you better remember what they looked like. Or if you wanted to take a chance, you could get a big box, lay them on the bottom, rely on packing peanuts and bubble wrap, and hope for the best....

Huh. That Marion head is definately wierd. It is either a new version of Marion for the existing sets, the final version of the summer one (Cairo), or the new Willie for the Temple of Doom. I'm leaning towards the last option, It wouldn't be too realistic to have a Willie figure in that set with bright red lipstick and other makeup...

For seperating plates, I actually use this little tool originally intended for popping pimples. While it souinds digusting, it works pretty well. But if they put the brick seperators back on S@H, I would definately put one in my next order... EDIT: I just checked, they are on there! And only $1.69! What a bargain!

This is just great. I love the little barber shop and cafe next door! Nice use of color!

Whoa! That is pretty cool! I love the truck. Your trailer is amazingly detailed, with the slide out sides it really reminds me of a camper. When you go to take this apart (If you ever do so, I wouldn't!), you should try moding it to a camper. If its anything like this, it will be really cool!
