  1. Best Underused heads IMO In either color And this one is one of my favorites just because. This one just cracks me up. And I'd like to add this to the "Overused" category. Geez Lego. God forbid every female isn't scared. Talk about sexism...
  2. Lego is known to do some things that leave us totally confused. One of those things is putting the SAME minifig heads in the SAME type of sets. Which gets me to the question and topic of this thread- What minifig head(s) do you find the worst?AND/ORWhat minifigure head(s) do you feel is overused. And... What minifig head(s) do you find the best?AND/ORWhat minifigure head(s) do you feel is under-used. For me, I feel they over use these- 1) Bruce Wayne (Is in basically every Indiana Jones set) 2) Standard Smile with Silver Sunglasses (Try saying that ten times fast?) 3) Angry Mouth and Tense Eyebrows (Its almost to the point where I don't want to buy sets with it) 4) Smirk with Goatee (I can tell it is going to be overused in the pirate line...) Don't get me wrong, they are all great heads, but they all are totally over used. There are sooo many other great heads they can use for generic figures. I think I will do my picks for underused later... -darthperson
  3. Nice review. You made me want this set, even though I think most pre-2002-ish SW sets are ugly. I agree with Ronan Nissen. Even if they updated Anakin's pod and released it in a $20 set it would be nice. We already have an Anakin fig (flesh) so they won't have to do anything special there (Unless they wanted to give us an updated Padme, I wouldn't complain! )
  4. Good idea for a topic! I did two because I couldn't narrow all the figs all down to one set. I think they each offer a variety of figures, in both years and themes. I think it would be cool for them to resurect the Fabuland figures, the ancient pre-minifigs, or even a Technic figure for one of these sets.
  5. We all appreciate your efforts to rehaul the Indy 2009 thread (Much more organized than the one I started a few months ago...), but what happened to the other one? Is it just unpinned, or is it totally lost? I think some of that discussion is still useful... Thanks! -darthperson

    City '09?

Doing all that with an expression that says "I'm gonna kick you @$$" If this set is more than $10, it will be a complete ripoff. I understand the higher prices with the liscensed sets, but these are figs we can get for around $10, plus a good amount of bricks, with the impulse sets for cheaper.
  7. 1) All of those were begging for a reference of some sort. So, thats what she said. 2) In all seriousness, This is probably one of, if not the biggest Star Wars MOC's I've ever seen. I can only imagine how long it took, but it is obviously time well spent. Very nice detail, I love the Separatist logos on the top. Great job! EDIT: I just saw that it has an interior! It would be fantastic even without one, but that really seals the deal. Amazing.
  8. So they are purist like many others around here...
  9. They might do a CW version of her. They have her headpiece from 2005. I can see a set with Anakin, Ahsoka, and Obi-Wan though. Or Assajj, Rex and a Clone (Or even Rotta if they figured out a way) would be nice, one with Rex, Cody, and Fox as mentioned before would be plain amazing.
  10. He will probably end up with a stack of catalogs on his doorstep in a few days.
  11. He probably meant "Evil". I doubt they would put civilians in an Agents set.
  12. I updated the first post with Roy and Hank the security guard.
  13. Wow! That is cool! But it is UCS scaled, so I doubt they would do that as a set with figs.
  14. Proooobably not. At least, I doubt it. It is gray in the series, and I think that it will look best in that color. (Does it seem like I'm a pessimist? It seems like a lot of my posts say "I doubt" or "Probably not" )
  15. I know we are getting two new figures in the Venator, but I really don't know how Lego puts 5 figures in a ship that is humongous and calls it a day. If they put 2-3 more figures in it, I might consider it if its on sale. They could put Admiral Yularen, Wolffe, or even reuse some of the Jedi molds they made, like Kit Fisto, Plo Koon, or Luminara. I can imagine how expensive the molds are to make, and I think if kids see a cool Jedi in the set, they will make their parents buy it. I mean, what 8 year old kid wants a boring old guy? Even CW Obi-Wan would be nice, he's only in one other set...
  16. I personally love this piece. This, and the 4x4 and 4x6 curved piece used in car construction are in my opinion some of the best pieces to come out of the City line. Sure, they may be <insert that tiresome argument> (Especially the mudguards) but they make vehicles look more realistic. I personally would love to see some of these in different sizes.
  17. Cool. Looks nice, especially that pirate. However I think they cheated by putting two classic space figures in there...What is the red shirt one from 1982 supposed to be? Looks like town, but I don't know what...
  18. I really doubt it. They can get away with the clone helmet mold, and I think it looks fine. We need to cut them some slack, they have been more than generous with new molds lately, especially for headpieces...
  19. I really am glad that they give different characters different heads, even if they are played by the same actor. How miserable would you all be if Indy had Han Solo's face?
  20. Nice review. But can anyone tell me what those pieces used at the end of the roof pieces/gutters are? They look like the common 1-wide with the "T" end, but longer.
  21. I'll get it either way, but it would be nice for them to knock $5-10 off of the Venice set.
  22. Very cool! I especially like the guillotine one! Cool idea...
  23. Really. Youre acting like its a life or death matter.
  24. "Save -$49" That cracked me up. Thanks for the laugh.
  25. Meredith is just a whore. And they were yellow before they were flesh, so I'm going to try and keep them yellow for now...
