  1. You need third party curves for that beast
  2. Agree, but to turn it on it requires to remove top cover. Unfortunatelly I can't see any other possible solution without increasing locomotive size.
  3. I thought about powered up motor, but there was no one in Studio to use so decided to leave 9V in pictures :)
  4. My ideas for fit powered up battery box to this set:
  5. Has anyone made a copy of 4560 set? I can't find it in web :(
  6. I just build this set. Got it second handed with broken 20-teeth sand main gear. In my opinion hinge is causing that. I think there is mistake in instruction. Rebuilt it that way: https://imgur.com/u6TEzPy https://imgur.com/zZquIEt There's no way motor could power whole mechanism based on this technic pin with bush.
  7. No, there'a no such mechanism. You newd to level upper platform visually
  8. Don't want to spam with another topic, so I'm asking here. Have you seen any construction which use servo to switch track?
  9. I had train platform, bought two trolleys and used rest of bricks to create this. Wonder what you think about it? That's definitely last time I create such MOC this way. Next one will be designed in studio (including colors which is essential here).
  10. But I already have parts to make it.
  11. Thanks. The last one looks promising.
  12. Hi, I'm looking for some ideas for motorized track switches. I'd like to use technic beams, PF m-motors and no clutch. Have you seen something similar? (I have lots of free PF motors and some chinese 4ch and 2ch rechargable batteries with remotes)
  13. KeyBrick is insanely expensive.
  14. Was able to fix it with glue and paper :D I'm not very proud of it, but works :)
  15. Thought about it. I'll update this topis when the fix is ready.
  16. I have. It seems that it's mechanical issue - 9V doesn't even reach PCB. I connected 9V from lab power supply and it seems to work. It seems (-) spring is not well connected to the frame.
  17. Hi, it seems my battery box doesn't work (with fresh batteries). Has anyone tried to fix it?
  18. An update: Big progress. I've managed to: Adjust platform high Secondary ramps mechanism is much slower than main platform Flat gearbox with build-in reducer for secondary platforms fitted in place The whole construction is much stiffer. lifting platform and sliding out secondary platforms is now one mechanism thanks to above second gear is for winch, so I've figured how to pass movement to the platform Todo (for that stage) Stiffer gearbox - sometimes it grinds. I consider using axles instead of liftarms Not sure if it's possible but clutch seems to be useless here change battery mount (already done) I skipped one version with cross-mounted motor (last photo). The track was shorter, but whole construction was to loose and it couldn't be corrected. Thanks to change motor mount it was also possible to reduce gear ratio, so it takes longer time to reach min/max position and there's more time to watch it. It its even better to have longer truck - longer car can be fitted. Previous version
  19. Added simple direction change, battery mount and some minor fixes
  20. An update with gearbox. Not the first version, but rather last. It' would be nice to reverse direction of sliding platforms to align movement with, second mechanism, but I didn't figure that out yet. Now I have to focus on sliding platforms itself.
  21. @Erik Leppen @Paul B Technic Thank you both :) There was not much time but I got back to it today, and wanted to show new version. Bit ashamed, comparing to your constructions, but.. New mock-up in which I'm trying to fit all planned mechanisms, with the bricks I have. There's much to do. I don't have enough panels to create platform, but when final version shapes I'll go for shopping to BL. Kneeing mechanism needs to be redesigned as for now it doesn't really lower the platform. Platform extensions will be shorter and I need to figure out simple mechanism to set them in line with main platform after the go out. Gearbox needs to be created and fit in a place. To accomplish that I need to change steering and move linear actuator bit back. Firstly I wanted to use metal one, but it's move range is to large and it goes to high. Anyway for now that's the plan.
  22. Way better than original set. Congrats
  23. Well, you definitely got skill and talent.
