  1. Probably future-proofing for tariff and/or exchange rate. But you can't really compare Euro to USD pricing as the US/Canada prices are pre-tax whereas EU/UK prices include VAT. Most buyers in the US/Canada pay on average 10-15% more once tax is added.
  2. Friends set 42674 Pool Party is rumored to include a "small" unicorn. Don't know if it's the same one or not. Also a flamingo-shaped pool float.
  3. There were mosaics of Haring's work displayed at the Bournemouth Brick Festival in March. Shown here:
  4. 60481-60486 probably are. Same age and price point as this years.
  5. The only rail-related submission that was selected is the Sushi Restaurant.

  9. Fixed. Also, they have malware that somehow gets around decent security software as well. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of the malware but check your task manager for weird programs that may be running.
  10. A small pic of the 2025 Year of the Snake set (40707) is here.
  11. Compound that with the fact that the Euro price includes VAT which means that Lego is only netting €280-290 on those sets versus the full $380 in the U.S.
  12. BDP guidelines but I think it's safe to assume it applies to internal designs as well. It would be doubly hypocritical if it doesn't. Of course, if Shell or BP threw enough money at TLG, I'm sure they would make an "exception" just like they do with the myriad of fossil-fuelled licensed vehicles they produce every year. https://www.bricklink.com/v3/designer-program/guidelines.page Avoid highlighting fossil fuels like coal, oil, and gas (e.g. depicting refineries, fuel storage or gas stations). It’s acceptable to showcase historical methods of transportation that rely on fossil fuels (e.g. steam locomotives). Modern vehicles need to adhere to this guideline, therefore the propulsion method should be ambiguous if it is not a sustainable power source.
  13. Gas/service stations are no more due to their hypocritical stance on fossil fuels.
  14. Lego has issued a couple of compliance documents for something they are calling "Ninjago World Builder". Only the US documents have been posted which don't include pictures. https://assets.legal.services.lego.com/ecerts/6532385_305_usdoc_en_10367063.pdf https://assets.legal.services.lego.com/ecerts/6532372_305_usdoc_en_10365485.pdf Any ideas what this might be?
  15. Either 42644 is NOT an Ice Cream Truck or they have the wrong pictures!
  16. The Helicopter in 60462 is police themed.
  17. JB Spielwaren has pictures of this set. The box states "Mix & Match" and it looks like each of the vehicles have 3 modular sections that can be combined in various ways.

  22. The packing facility has been up and running for almost a year now. https://www.wric.com/news/local-news/chesterfield-county/lego-begins-operations-at-external-packing-facility-in-chesterfield-county/

  25. Is it just me or does the BAM Cooper torso in that pic have arms of different colors?
