  1. I think no animals. It removes an entire category from judging, which makes it easier, plus animals aren't exactly related to (for example) a clock, other than having a mechanism.
  2. Yeah, I agree with m_longer and stereo. The ratios between pin length and plate thickness are different.
  3. Hey guys another question: is the buwizz 3.0 able to hold programs like the spike prime hub? I am thinking of using it for something that can’t be remote controlled, it need to do it itself.
  4. Okay. Also another question: many pop-up town fairs often rent rides that literally unfold from trailers. Would this count as a vehicle because it’s a trailer, or would it not count because that isn’t its objective?
  5. Quick question: is an illegal building technique having the bricks put together illegally, or getting them there illegally? (i.e., slightly bending them, or twisting, etc.)
  6. Nice idea! I really hope it works out for you. Good luck! I still need to think of something to make…
  7. Same! The length of the ‘what I can make’ list has not yet improved though…
  8. wow. I usually putter around in the technic forum, but decided to check this out and boy was it a good idea!! This is actually insane! I can't believe the level of detail on this! What a boss job. PLEASE finish this so I can see the result!
  9. Wow, looks really clean! I love the front bumper; great use of parts.
  10. I haven’t had too many sets over the last 10 years I’ve been legoing, but out of the sets that I have, I loved 42110 Land Rover and 42098 car transporter. Both are functional, and are easily rebuilt into other mocs. for sets that I don’t have, I really love the 42082 rough terrain crane.
  11. I kinda agree; although we could vote for the highest quality one, that is a very broad spectrum; someone could make a cheetah, and somebody could make a clock. Those two things have almost nothing in common other than possible movement mechanics. I think a non-vehicle, non-animal contest is best.
  12. Ok, thanks for the reassurance. It’ll probably be here soon, I was just curious why it was so late
  13. I ordered a Buwizz 3.0 and two motor combo and added on two of the new micro motors on November 29. I know that it is very busy around that time, but they didn't even ship until December 10. Is that a normal wait time?
  14. I do kinda like the non-vehicle contest; there are MANY things that aren't vehicles that could be built.
  15. Oh, OK. So we would build something similar to those sets.
  16. Yeah. First thing I think of though, is how would they be motorized to open? It looks like they have pin holes to open around, but no other axle/pin holes.
  17. Would the load be 42098, 42076, 42060 etc, or would that be the transport vehicle used to carry the other set?
  18. Dunno if this is even sensible because if it being very specific, but what if everyone gets a randomly assigned set to make a creation out of? Something like 42161 or 42138? I'm just throwing it out there. You also could allow stud.io models for those who don't have that specific set, or the parts that make up the set.
  19. Wow! Looks great! Good job incorporating the Powered Up hub into the body without changing it! Where is the hub located?
  20. WOAH! I love this! It is so clean, and the lime green really makes it look awesome! Although I haven't seen FF yet, this car is astounding. In just 5 seconds, I love the rear wheel arches and I love the shock absorber keeping the hood open. Great job.
  21. Ok, I’m excited! I might build something Technic, or possibly something out of a speed champions set.
