WOW!!! I am deeply impressed by this. Never saw a design of me like this because I am not acquainted with LDD at all. You did an absolutely stunning job! You quite nailed it but I think the baseplate may be one level too high. Is that possible? It is situated just one level below the mudguards. Anyway, I will shoot some more detailed photos tomorrow (today there is no time) so that you can modify the file, if necessary. I very much like your modifications, too! I will answer to all posts but I had to react upon this, I hope you all understand it!

V-LP-8C Hi there, I will put each new car in this thread, if it is okay. [Edit: List of MOCs (to be continued): #1 Supercar #2 Supercar Spider #3 Convertible Minivan #4 Muscle Car - Police Interceptor #5 Muscle Car - Rallye Version #6 Muscle Car - Convertible #7 Corvette #8 Ferrari 308 GTS #9 Stephanie's Cool Corvette #10 Heartlake County Highway Patrol #11 Gran Turismo "Rih" #12 Stephanie's Cool Cadillac /Edit] Now here are the cars I have already published (the threads are linked, photos are linked with Flickr): Supercars Convertible Minivans Now a new one. It was lightningtiger (many thanks!) who suggested to use the wheelbase of the supercars and minivans to create a muscle car, and so I did. Since I had some black parts left I decided to design my first police car. I must say that I am quite satisfied with this one because some issues I had at the beginning seem to be solved. Of course, it is big in terms of minifig scale cars, but not that big, it is very low (in order not to "dwarf" the figs too much), two figs fit in there (even with hats or caps), they can easily be put in and out, there are mirrors, there are opening doors, and there are - the most important thing - police lights behind the grille The whole thing is heavy as hell, but very stable. But what really counts is your opinion. I am looking forward to your comments. Thanks for looking. Photos are linked with Flickr.

Awesome! Building a winter sports store is a great idea, the overall shape is very convincing - I agree that this could actually be a set. The countless lovely details add to the very lively atmosphere of the whole MOC. Good luck for the contest!
-
Awesome, I like it a lot. It has a unique yet characteristic design. My favorite color schemes are the black/lime and the green/white ones. But what I like most is - as you can imagine - the concept of having a platform with spare parts which can be changed quickly and of course the different suspension settings. Great idea! [Edit:] So much to think about that I've just forgotten the most important thing: Happy birthday!
-
Very nice shape, I like it a lot. My favorite is the last addition - the black one with the blue trans plates.
-
A very nice project and two very convincing efforts. I like the two of them - the improvements add to the well balanced shape of the vehicles. But the tow truck is my favorite, in my eyes it has a more distinct shape compared to its origin.
-
Very nice SNOT work, color scheme and overall shape. It has a very distinct and appealing style. I like it a lot!

Thank you very much, HighFlyer. Glad you appreciate it. Yeah, the yellow one seems to be much more liked than the red one. I think the 7 wide scheme works well, not only in terms of putting some figs in - a major advantage of a 7 wide is that you have room for a strong middle beam so that the sides can be designed more freely. Now I would like to be able to omit the mudguards (to get "real" 7 wides) and keep the whole thing low which still seems quite difficult to me ...
-
Thank you very much, Leg Godt Gud. I see your point. The yellow one was meant to look more sporty, but I did want to create family friendly cars with both of them. Perhaps there must be a stronger distinction between the versions. Thank you very much, lightningtiger. The low profile is due to the attempt to design the lowest possible cars which still allow to fit minifigs in. But I agree - one layer more or less can change the whole character of a car like this. Creating a muscle car is a great idea, I will try this as soon as possible. Perhaps the wheelbase is already long enough (6 studs between the mudguards like the supercars), the cab can easily be moved backwards. Thanks for this nice inspiration! Thank you very much, bootz. There will be some different colors - I thought of an orange version, but I like your suggestions very much. I will give it a try. Thank you, LEGO Train 12 Volts. I appreciate your comment very much. Glad you like the technique. Thank you, danthaman 11, I am glad you like it. Hopefully there will be some other combinations. I think the seven wide scheme is something that can be further developed - hopefully I achieve some day to design a "real seven wide" like yours without mudguards

V-LV-54E It began as another supercar, but then quickly changed into something different. I wondered if I could use the low profile and wheelbase of my supercars to create a 4-seater family van which is roomy enough for an average minifig family (and a dog or cat or some suitcases) but which does not "dwarf" the minifigs too much. This turned out to be possible - but obviously it can't deny its origin, so it can quickly be changed into something more sporty. And there are a few further possibilities, as you will see. So good news for all house builders: Only one garage is needed Credits to danthaman11 and SearchFunction, whose fine 4-seaters inspired me. The tilted front is inspired by Ricecracker's awesome Ford GT-40 Tell me what you think about it. Thanks for looking.

Great! Both vehicles are very well designed, together they look awesome. There are some 4-wide K.I.T.T.s, I've just seen one with trans cheese slopes as windscreen, but your solution works very well, too, and it surely is better if you want to fit a minihoff in Looking forward to seeing it brick built!

Great MOC! The overall shape is awesome, the color combination works very well in my eyes - it brightens the rather massive appearance of a truck like this. I also like the technical features very much. Will there be some stickers? As a suggestion, you might change the two 1 x 1 cheese slopes at the rearview mirrors into one 1 x 2.
-
Awesome! Each of the buildings works very well, together in this situation they create a very convincing ensemble. But what I like most is your park and how you managed to contrast its strong symmetry with details like the different colors of the tiles and especially with the flowers which rather look unevenly spread. Together with the ongoing action this creates a very lively atmosphere. I like the tram as well.

Thank you very much L@go. I like this one better, too. I think there are still some possibilities to vary it. Concerning the exhausts I think they were okay with the first one because they went with the exaggerated supercar character of it. But I agree, in terms of scale they were exaggerated themselves Thank you very much bootz. You are right - although I didn't think of a Ford GT I can see a bit of it in the MOC, too. Thank you very much LEGO Train 12 Volts! If you - as an Italian - think of a Ferrari, there must be some truth in it. Glad you like the headrests. Since the second version (the Spider GT) is just finished, I am adding some pictures. Comments are welcome. The photos are linked with Flickr.

Okay, I think, you have chosen a rather challenging model - I must say I'd find it quite difficult to meet the specific shape of this Ford Falcon. I have just done some research and found this one: http://www.e-klocki.com/2009/01/21/im-here-just-for-gasoline/ Maybe this is an inspiration, because with the curved slopes it meets the silhouette quite well - and with 7 wide you have just some more room to design the sides. Maybe you can combine the slopes with your frontend which I think works well.

Thank you very much NIKITAMILOVIDOV. Glad you like it. Thank you very much bootz. I am pleased you like it. You're absolutely right with 308 and F430! This kind of mixing the styles was my idea, I also thought a bit of 458 or 599 - I like that they have only two backlights instead of four. Concerning your supercar, have you thought about a 5 wide yet, since a supercar can be wider than the normal ones? I don’t know if it’s okay to post a WIP here, but since the thread is more or less alive I thought it might fit in. It turned out that this supercar concept can be further developed quite easily. This is another spider which I call Spider GT. There are quite a few changes, as you will see, inter alia it now has mirrors and doors which deserve the name. The whole cockpit has moved one stud, so that the silhouette has changed quite significantly - now there seems to be a little Porsche in it. The wheels are still a problem, I thought the rims might fit, but the tires are too wide for them. The car moves quite easily but I don’t know how it behaves in curves For now it’s okay ... There are still quite a few things to do, some parts with the wrong colour have to be changed, the exhausts must obviously be fixed better but the overall shape is quite complete. Credits to danthaman11, from whom I took the color scheme with the two stripes and the idea for the door hinges. Sorry for the small exhausts, LT! I hope you don't mind. I won't bother you with every new version of this Comments are welcome!

Thank you DENISTIMCHENKO. I am glad you like it. I did it by "trial and error", not by using LDD or LDraw which unfortunately I am not acquainted with.
-
Thank you very much, TheLegoDr. I am glad you like the exhausts and the shape. I tried to keep this as flat as possible. Thank you very much, soundwave_sw. Yeah, I can't deny it. At least I should have chosen a different color, but since I have only built one or two fire apparatus so far there were quite a few red bricks left When I look at your very fine ambulance it seems to me that technically I can learn much more from you than the other way round - but you're welcome.
-
Absolutely great! Now this is a very clean and neat design. I don't care what type it looks like if the shape is as well balanced as this. Keep it up LT
-
Thanks bricked one. Yep, the exhausts seem to get the most approval. At least they can't be overlooked You are right with the f. look - I can't deny it. Next time I choose a different colour (great tumbler b.t.w.!). Thank you very much Dish90! Glad you like it. Thank you very much danthaman11. I am very glad you like it since it was your S2000 which quite impressed me and made me think of a 7w myself. A very inspiring creation!

What could still be said about this? You can look several times at these mocs and still find a detail you did not recognize before. I already commented on your supercar - it is a classic yet. The delivery van is a gem, too. Concerning the Steinwinter I absolutely agree with LT - at least it is your most daring yet very successful effort. And although I am not so fond of 4w vehicles I am quite stunned by yours - looking at them I understand that colour becomes a very important element of a MOC if space and forms are limited. It is kind of fourth dimension of lego design if you will. This is something I have to consider much more. Keep it up! I am looking forward to the next bunch.

Great collection! My favourite is the SUV as you already know but I like the interceptors and the Seagrave very much.

Thank you very much, LT! Your comment is always a warm welcome with Eurobricks - I appreciate it very much. Glad you like the car. Thanks The Batman! I am glad you like it. Concerning the roof - um, I don't think so. I did't even give it a try. It is as you say: the sleek shape would be destroyed. Furthermore having a roof on top of your minifig scale car means you must be able to open it or to easily take it off to put the figs in and out. For me this is quite an issue. With my pumper I tried to solve that with a movable roof - here I don't see any possibility for something like this. Thank you very much, Dakar. Yeah, the exhausts seem to be the detail who gets the most appreciation. Concerning the windscreen I really don't see an alternative. Building it like you suggested in my opinion would not meet the overall style of the MOC. I really like your Ferrari (especially the doors), and your solution for the windscreen frame fits very well within its style. But here I don't consider this as a possible solution. Thanks a lot sneff! I feel quite honored by your comment. But if you get further acquainted with Eurobricks you will see that there are many builders who are by far better than I am Concerning the hood I agree with your point. I hope there will be some siblings to this one. Thank you very much for your amazingly thorough and detailed comment on this MOC, L@go. I appreciate it very much since your work has quite an influence on what I try to realize. Your commenting the front (thanks for putting in the photo) meets exactly my thoughts upon this - in the beginning it looked quite different Maybe this is a way to explore - to first determine the structure and the overall design and then "deconstruct" it, take away all that is not necessary. I very much agree with every of your points - except maybe the windscreen: I never even thought about an alternative because there seems to be none (or at least I don't know one). In fact, this was the part I started with Thank you again! I have read this several times and will reread it. Thank you very much, Leg Godt Gud. I am glad you like it. Yeah, you are right. The 308 is my all-time favourite Ferrari. But since it is still very difficult for me to meet the original with my MOCs (except monster trucks like a Faun ), I rather try to catch a certain impression. I still rather try to figure out what I can do with the several parts and how I can combine them. Thank you, stacker9000, I appreciate your comment very much. I am sorry but I can't deliver any instructions, since I am quite a lego freshman and don't know any of the tools which are necessary for that. What I can do is publish some more photos of the details on Flickr and maybe put some parts off. It is nothing fancy - the main thing is maybe the combination between technic and system parts. You will need some pins

V-LV-54D Hello guys, inspired by some awesome minifig scale cars designed by L@go, Danthaman, Orion Pax and other great builders I wanted to create my own supercar. My aim was to fit 2 figs comfortably in there, to integrate some technic parts again and to keep the whole thing as flat as possible. Since I am still very slow I hoped it would be a quicker build than my trucks. But it turned out to be more difficult than I thought, and I am not quite satisfied with all aspects of it (there are no mirrors, for instance, the doors seem too small, and the typical town mudguards and wheels somehow decrease the "aggressiveness" of the design), but I think it serves well as a basis for further MOCs because of its modularity (some parts can be easily put off and replaced by others). There is at least a spider with a flattened back, as you will see. Actually I should give credit to the builder from whom I took the idea for the pop-up headlights, but unfortunately I don’t remember where I have seen that. If the MOC reminds you of the products of some Italian sports car manufacturers (maybe a single Italian sports car manufacturer) I cannot deny a certain influence. Im am looking forward to your comments! The photos are linked with Flickr.

Very cool. I like everything about it. Front and back are awesome. It makes you want to try something like it.
