    I don't think we were rubbing it in... Don't take anything said IC personally. You've never played mafia before, we all understand. Just a rule of thumb: if it was secret in your role PM, best to keep it secret. Mafia Scum is a great place for newbies to read up on mafia if you're interested in getting in on it after CAT, we have a great mafia community here on EB.

    "No, keep your glass. It'd be better if it was secret, like I said, but use it to create a redundancy in the system. That'll help. Also if anyone else has a glass keep it secret and use it to check up on those who have public glasses to make sure they aren't bamboozling us.

    Oh, I see. The watch would make scum hesitant to kill the glass user, though.

    That's right. Anybody with a Telescope should keep it secret and use it on the person who has the glass to see if anyone is screwing about with them.

    I believe trading items does not count as your action for the day, only using a skill or an item. Why would it be sixty gold a day? Magnifying glasses aren't one use, are they?

    I don't doubt it. But those with Telescopes, Glasses, or their own equivalent abilities can act as unknown redundancies in the system to trap scum - say, a person with a magnifying glass they started with could investigate Retak Ysp and see for themselves if he's Town or Scum. If he reads scum, they could let someone know in private so we know not to trust (or at least double check) the results Retak gives us.

    It would be nice if, considering the gravity of our situation, all of the heroes here would act their age. (Especially the fifty three year olds.)

    To add on to that: The Library contains pictures of the 6 Veterans who were the protagonists of the climactic conflict at Fortaan, and Tarokai would be a Minifig sized version of this fellow.
