  1. My gut says Pirates. Welcome to Eurobricks!
  2. True that... you people give him more credit than I think he deserves. Like come on he works hard to keep Bionicle up and running... but it's not like he's a god or something. He just does the story... which as VBBN said... wasn't so hot either. I'm getting sick of "Thanks Greg!" all the time, no offence, and we're idolizing a pretty mediocre writer like he's a huge author. Give it up... like Bionicle for Bionicle, and stop treating Greg like god already.
  3. Sounds good, but the SW sets coming just sound plain lame...
  4. If the Ultimate Space Battle wasn't 180$ due to stupid Bricklink money pigs... and the ARC-170 wasn't 90$ due to stupid Bricklink money pigs... I'd buy those ships. But it's too bad that all they could care about is... money. Oh god it's depressing me. The RGS is NOT my favourite ship style-wise, look-wise or fig-wise. CW isn't my thing either. But because I missed out...? Too bad for me! Oh yes and thank you for the review. A little skimpy on words and it didn't really criticise or praise the set... but the pictures were all very good and nonetheless I think this deserves to be frontpaged.

    What now?

Buy the Rebel BP or maybe the Tie Advanced UCS, depending on your budget. After buying the Millennium Falcon though... I'm sure could buy the Battle Pack AND keep the house.
  6. Welcome to Eurobricks! Yeah, I too find it weird that they stopped... all this talk about "have you seen these?" and stuff... honestly that stuff is nearly 10 years old and colour-wise, brickwise and fig wise, they're obsolete. They shouldn't have gone ahead with this Clone Wars stuff, they should have continued Episode I. The gap between these sets is huge, and I think people who enjoyed Episode I were kinda ripped off. 4 great sets, but still... just 4? Clone Wars... not for me. Maybe I'll pick up some of last year's sets, seeing as I missed every single one of them.
  7. Argh! So many LUL haters. Am I the only LUL Lover? Revising my choice... hmm... Final Duel 1 and 2. So boring despite having the emperor and an Imperial Officer.
  8. Luminara... I don't mind Light Up Lightsabers.
  9. What did Greg have to do with Bionicle?
  10. I'm resurecting because this was such an awesome topic 2 years ago. All I remembered about Western was buying the Indian Chief (the tiny set with the horse) because it stood out against the mini technic-cycles- there was lots of space for them but only a couple left. Must have been selling out over time, it was in 1998 exactly. Picked it up for the horse, got much more. Almost every single piece was new to me. Maybe all of them were. But I remember enjoying the set. Indians didn't sell not only because of political inquiry and unpopularity... they were also part of a generally lackluster year and were coupled with the Ninja sets... which I DO remember selling particularily well. And Western... I wish I got into LEGO a year earlier. It's my tenth year w/lego now, I was 4 when I started and am 14 now. I desperately hope the future holds the past... Wild West.
  11. I nominate... Wookiee Attack. It's overlooked, a real beaut in its own way. With a perfect tank, boring and flimsy but still nice Dragonflyer, sweet Spider Droid and two wookiees (as well as two of the usual droids) it seems like the perfect large BP. Two things for each side... a medium tank with spider droid support and two troops... against a small scout flyer with two unarmed wookiees (the only downfall). Overlooked and now overpriced at 100 bucks... but seriously I might buy it again and get the other 3 Kashyyk sets for the first time!
  12. Thank you very much for the review. NOW I remember! I got Mission Control when I was only 5 and built it with the help of my older sister. I loved it so much, I never rebuilt it but now... I just have to! Space Simulation was one I never got but looks to be a great set.
  13. Sweet MOC! I really like the stonehenge, the awesome silver swan and the interior. The opening stone table is ingenious, I really like the detail and your skill at character development. Plus, Felicity looks incredibly sexy in that tight-fitting white number... kidding (or so you think). A job well done! It got my vote.
  14. Set Reference: Air Temple http://www.peeron.com/inv/sets/3828-1 Fire Nation Ship http://www.peeron.com/inv/sets/3829-1 I like the Avatar sets, but not the show. Great figs and well-built sets. Cool!
  15. I saw the Dark Knight at 12:20 last night until about 3:00 in the morning (10/10) and So in that case... AWESOME MOC!
  16. For some reason hearing the Turbo Tank being called a pile of technic and a bunch of plates... makes me loves it even more. I'm going to pick mine up soon. But moving on... Honestly, I don't have many poorly designed sets. But... I've got to say Gungan Patrol wins my vote. It came in a large value pack thank goodness. It was pretty much two decent but very large juniorization animals with two rare gungans hauling around... a rolling box. And for a box that big? It had a few tiny bombs. Smart move. It was extremely blocky and honestly not practical. Not that anything in Episode I was practical other than that nice MTT and the kick-brick ATT, Gungan Sub and Flash Speeder.
  17. I think I should shut my mouth. I guess I was least-posters... probably ten posts over the whole thing. Just a sideline character, and maybe I was pretty harsh to scoff at you like some big snob. BTW, Dovchenko is a minor character from Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Yeah, I changed it from sdpirate. The first two letters are my sylables, the "pirate" being my previous favourite theme. I like it, but not as much as other things. I was worried it might come up in google searches and besides... I wanted less personal and more characterized name.
  18. Thanks for all the votes just because I can't play a lot. And who would have thought what I was busy with... the MYSTERY CASTLE VIG CONTEST! Wow, maybe if you'd listen to my posts you'd be able to make an intelligent guess against me. I've done a few posts but it's not like I'm glued to the computer all day... And I Vote Lady Suzanne cause I'm a hipocrit. WHAT substantial evidence? I've been writing a few little twists and that's it. Thanks very much but I post as much as I can buddy... like seriously first it's me not being able to confirm and getting all sorts of sarcastic posts and now it's me working on another Mystery Castle thing and getting more backhand comments... But if you really want me to die maybe I can work out a cool death with Dragonator...
  19. We've got the traitor it seems... the days grow less cold but there still are accomplices out there... kill them all! Damien sleeps better now, so does my monkey. Come here, Monkey!
  20. I'm not starting up religeon at all, I'm starting up about Greg being a good writer. No offence... I'll honestly admit... Greg isn't a very good writer. For an audience like Bionicle and maybe for his previous projects, sure. But overall, his stories aren't very convincing and either take ideas or don't use many good ideas at all. I'm sort of tired of people worshipping him... he's kind and nice to his fans... but he's defenitely mediocre when it comes to making a good story. And hands down, Gadunka. Ga-DUNKA!
  21. Breaking News: Dovchenko, Soviet Colonel, has died in an incident involving a Rhoutaka Spinner, Ants and Conker Reloaded for the PS2.
  22. EXTREMELY cool, I love what you've done with this set. The Lewa Mask works perfectly for the back part of the seat, and the added bulkiness makes this ride look like a mean set of wheels. Rowr. The rider is honestly just distracting though... I would take him out of the pictures for your next addition to this MOC. The brick-built aspect of the MOC looks just plain cool.
  23. Actually I'd probably threaten them that if they didn't give me the Death Star pronto I'd go down to the LEGO factory and...
