  1. Eagerly awaiting more news on the U-Wing. Like a full fig list confirmation. Where is the Andor S2 trailer Disney?!!!
  2. Damn. That fig selection would be better suited for the Interceptor than the Black Pearl. Hopefully there’s a Dutchman next year. Then Queen Anne’s revenge after that.
  3. I know. I can’t believe I didn’t realise it last year. But a few days ago I ordered it because it’s a very neat set. Also. That’s just the beginning for my plans this year… with it looking lacklustre (for me btw, I’m happy for those who are happy) this summer I have decided to begin a little project. Speaking of which, can I get double VIP points on Pick a Brick on May 4th?
  4. Eagerly awaiting the inevitable Max Rebo mech. There is a serious lack of location play-sets this year.
  5. Theoretically, if Lego did decide to do a u-turn on more superman tie in sets. I reckon they could easily design and release a comic-based GL Mech with Guy Gardner and Hawkgirl (using wolverine cowl and D&D bird person’s wings) on short notice. Also it’d make sense as then the 4 main characters of this flagship kids’ comic releasing in the summer would be accessible to kids through cheap mechs. I know I’m just coping. Lego’s dropped the ball so hard from my perspective this year. Turtle was right.
  6. Who do we think could be included in this year’s advent calendar? I’d say that any of: Thrawn, Stormtrooper, Clone Pilot, shock trooper, Skiff Luke, Obi-Wan, Qui Gon, Darth Maul, Sabine, Bo Katan, Vader and Jedi Bob are all likely candidates. As for the Christmas figure, I’d say that CT2512 (what I designate the hasbro Christmas clone) is a possibility, when looking at the rest of the year. Also the AT ST has been confirmed as UCS by brickmerge. Maybe it’s finally time to buy the parts I need to build the imperial base of my dreams? I’d just hope we’d get a normal Battlepack of versatile imperial troopers soon to garrison it. Night troopers and Gideon’s boys just aren’t that versatile.
  7. No Paul minifigure? Spidey’s greatest villain? 0/10 set. UJ/ Hob Goblin will be nice to get again.
  8. Here’s the thing. The trailer doesn’t really make the film look fantastic. (But trench coat Ben is an absolute W)
  9. Yeah. I feel like one of my priorities when I have kids is making sure I can establish some common or adjacent interests. Top Priorities for interests: DC Comics Star Wars Lego (gonna hit them with the BPs, baseplates and spare bricks as soon as possible) Dogs (will probably get a Lab as soon as the oldest turns 5) If I fail. I will just restart the whole project. (I joke)
  10. On the subject of smaller sets. I actually wonder why Lego only made minifigure packs in 2022. They obviously sold extremely well since they were always out of stock. I miss them. I didn’t actually mind that they were amassable troops. I just really liked them because they were nice small sets. Lego should really bring them back. And if they do they should rebrand them as either A) named character packs (e.g. Jedi, Imperial Officers, Sith, Bounty Hunters, etc…) or B) special forces packs so army builders don’t buy a crazy amount (unnamed Jedi, Clone Commandos, Death Troopers, Purge Troopers, Inferno Squad, etc…) I also think a Delta Squad or Bad Batch battlepack would make a very neat cheap set.
  11. My honest reaction to the situation. Republicans and the Trump administration (Musk with a huge role within it) have majority control over the Senate, the Courts and the White House. (And now there’s the taxation of trade routes. Is George Lucas a time traveler?) I’d say that Musk will have a little less opposition within the US court system than he should have normally. Internationally I’m not so sure. (On another note, if Trump does tariff the EU, Lego might get a whole lot more expensive for ya’ll across the pond)
  12. Really the age range is from 14 to early 20s/ late teens. Basically from middle school to university. Here in the UK we have cadet forces for the Army, Royal Navy and RAF. It’s a Ministry of Defence funded program (with a few donations from the parents) In the army syllabus we teach them stuff like: foot drill, rifle drill, weapon maintenance, fire and movement, battle tactics, some hand to hand combat, map and compass navigation, principles of marksmanship, first aid, target indication, field craft, formations, cooking in the field, fire building, basher building, urban warfare (TIBUA) and night time ambushes. On exercise we use blank ammunition. For these exercises we usually go to combat villages and other MOD training areas. We only use live rounds on ranges. Most contingents have an armoury of L98A2’s. From time to time we go on camps and stay at military bases. This gives the cadets a chance to run the obstacle course and work on their teamwork. Sennybridge and Oakhampton are personal favourites of mine. Another thing we do to make it more appealing is do a lot of adventure training (e.g.: climbing, canyoning, mountain biking, sea kayaking, caving etc..) It’s great. When I first became an army cadet I wasn’t too sure. But my experience has been life changing. So now I’m an instructor so I can make sure new cadets can have the same great experience I’ve had. But I digress. I wonder if we’ll get any reveals at SW celebration? The Andor U-Wing will probably get revealed before then. But I feel like K2S0 and the Ewok have a decent chance at it.
  13. I’ve had enough of Musk these past few months.
  14. Good points. Booster’s still waiting for Blade and Beyond the Spider-verse to release though.
  15. Because BG is from the future. So he would have grown up with those kid orientated shows. It’s duality. thanks
  16. Was bored. Made a tier list of which DC characters like each type of SW content.
  17. I actually kinda want it to be banned here in the UK, to see if it actually benefits our kids I mean. I’m sure it would since doomscrolling is ruining attention spans. Also it’d be interesting to see if it works since someone across the pond ended the ban before it even lasted a day and had an effect. Also, I beg to differ. Until a year and an half ago I used to be a scout leader. And the kids there were very into Lego. In fact quite a lot of them were hyped for the 2022 AT TE. Not so much for the 2023 Coruscant Guard gunship and 327th BP. I’m currently a cadet instructor, and whilst it is an older demographic (mid teenagers), the boys seem to still be into the occasional Lego set, even play-sets. The girls seem to like collecting the botanical collection from time to time. Whilst it is a problem, I think it comes down to the responsibility of the parents, not the kids. Parents can always stop them wasting hours upon hours on TikTok and video games by simply setting screen time limits on their devices. Kids easily get addicted to screens. But yeah, covid definitely is the reason for the exponential increase in adult targeted sets.
  18. Pilot Luke is this year’s Brickheadz in May. Still waiting for a full figure confirmation of the Andor U-Wing
  19. Now we just need Paul to be included in Peter’s apartment. Then Lego’s transformation into marvel editorial will be complete.
  20. I don’t need it to be minifigure scale. I just want it to be minifigure compatible. And to have at least 2 main decks.
  21. Now Lego just needs to produce 3 more spider women. Then they’ll make 1 webmillion dollars.
  22. I’m honestly surprised that Lego’s putting Gwen and Norman Osborne in the same set. IYKYK.
  23. Don’t worry you’re good. It’s both. To mirror the current state of the DC (and arguably SW) theme. I honestly thought that the 2019 promo was teasing something like this. 6 years later and still nothing.
  24. Oh god! It’s blonde Han Solo?!!? How the heck is Tony going to survive?!?? Also the Oscorp figlist leaked. I was Kraven for more than 1 newish villain. Please let Spider Girl refer to Mayday.
