LEGO Star Wars 2024 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
CloneCommando99 replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Maybe the “in more ways than one” refers to there being a second ship in the set? Both the killer and the killed? Suggesting that it’s a full set based off the scene where original gold leader dies (in universe) Edit: But, on the other hand, I did some research. There were also gold leaders at the battles of Anaxes and Muunilist. And I know the latter’s legends but… during that battle this exact phrase was spoken: "Commander, we lost Gold Leader." It would also fit with the knowledge (from Max-Baut) we’re getting a P1 Clone Pilot in the summer, and the starfighters in that battle were V-19 torrents (Could we get Fordo?!!) The ‘in more ways than one’ could also possibly mean we’re getting both a V-19 and a rebel y-wing. But that’s just a theory…. A Commando theory. If Lego followed that logic, we shouldn’t be getting Ben Kenobi, Black Panther, Adam West Batman, Princess Leia or Darth Vader minifigs Would be cool. But I doubt it. -
I’m curious as to how everyone army builds differently. Do you separate your units? Do you separate factions? Do you form different divisions? Do you have a preference in formations? Do you use different formations for differently sized units? Do you incorporate vehicles into the display? Do you army build one faction exclusively? What size and colour of baseplate do you use if any? Is there a specific trooper type you army build? Do you even army build at all? Here’s a small example of how I do it: And finally: if Lego could make 3 sets that you’d like solely for the purpose of improving your LSW army, what would they be? I’d love to hear how you guys do it. It’ll be interesting to see how everyone differentiates from each other and whether there are some constants.

As much as i want an attack shuttle… I’m starting to think that the clone pilot set that max-baut teased will be this year’s starfighter dual pack. -

Supergirl canonically sold the cure to cancer to him for $1 million. (She wanted the money to pay for a sushi date with her boyfriend) -
No! IT’S MINEEEEE— Wait. What are we doing? Maybe we should have shared custody? Cool theory. Or maybe whilst Mara’s visiting there there’s a sudden shift of black holes or a traitor (Bode’s ghost!!!) destroys all the compasses that Cal made. That way Mara, Merrin and Cal couldn’t be freed to help rebuild the greater order until someone locates one of the other compasses that Santari Khri hid away that weren’t on Koboh. Then during the NJO movie Rey finds one of said compasses. And just in time because the Zeffo have returned to the galaxy. And are out to conquer it for the Grysk. And who would be better for the task of helping Rey than Cal Kestis. The only Jedi who has experience with Zeffo tech since Cordova died. (A difference in time flow between Tanalorr and the rest of the galaxy would also be optimal as then Cal and Merrin would still be in their prime.) I didn’t. The ring did. It has a similar though pattern to me.

Tanalorr is actually a gateway to all major locations in what I call the “Aslume-verse.” That’s why Dagan Gera wanted to control it so much. It could essentially be used as a staging ground for a Bedlam Raider invasion into Ham City, London, Fan y Big (actual place in wales), Lego City, Goth City, Harambe’s enclosure, any and all Greggs (the steak bakes must flow) and Officer Bald’s bedroom. It is a very strategic position. (IT’S MINE!!!!)

Ah yes. A mech set where the experience/ make-up of the build has poor structure, completely ignores some of the key points of the characters and has un-needed Jesus imagery. -

Why is Man giant? Is he stupid? Interesting that Iron Man has a sword and shield. I wonder if they’re new moulds. -

And there lies the problem with Lego’s price increases I wonder whether the UT-AT will have a similar troop capacity to the AT TE. Now that the Clone vs Droid Battlepack exists, I feel that Lego’s going to start putting as many different legions as possible into larger sets as they can just be reinforced by the very versatile P2 shinies. -

Happy new year. Let us pray that 2025 bears fruit for the theme. -
After a Black Pearl and Dutchman I’d say that the Interceptor would be next. It’s the only British ship that would actually have a recognisable character roster. Who could they include in the Endeavour? Jack, Beckett and Will? The Interceptor has the possibility to include all of Jack’s crew in CotBP, Jack, Will, Elizabeth, Commodore Norrington, Governor Swann and the 2 redcoats (I forget their names)

Just a suggestion for that abnormal Turbo tank price point and piece count… https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&url=https%3A%2F%2Fstarwars.fandom.com%2Fwiki%2FMTV-7_light_vehicle&psig=AOvVaw3mFXyY3Eo3Aaa6kjSRO9pQ&ust=1735750968066000&source=images&cd=vfe&opi=89978449&ved=0CBQQjhxqFwoTCNiCyrq-0ooDFQAAAAAdAAAAABAE We know that Lego’s leaning into doing gimmicky things, even when marketed for kids (75392). And Lego City is getting a Go Kart series in January (including Luigi the Pizza man) I don’t think it’s too much of a stretch to suggest that Lego may try and make a LSW Go-Kart/ Microfighter large pack in the near future. And there’s the fact that the MTV-7 looks like a small Turbo Tank (plus imagine the cool characters they could include in a set like that) -

Wishlist: Future Star Wars Sets and Minifigures

Yes. I like that. I like that very much. I am severely hoping Lego releases some good imperial hardware in the near future. The Clones need to be taught a lesson. Through ABS! Imperial ground forces are currently a joke. Sure they have a decent amount of air support and a relatively fair amount of infantry, but there are currently no imperial ground vehicles on shelves. And come to think of it, there are no substantial troop transports for the empire rn. For ground forces I propose either A) ITT or B) AT ST For troop transports/ assault landers I suggest either A) Tie Reaper or B) Imperial patrol Gunship (preferably based off JFO/JS)
