Season 2? Wouldn’t it be funny if it turned out there was a universe before Bob’s. And survivors from that universe called Galen and Mara showed up in season 2. -

Personally, the only Disney projects I didn’t like in some form were Mando S3 and Acolyte. I enjoyed TROS and TLJ as their own movies. Though they aren’t as great when placed next to everything else. But there are still fans to all those projects who deserve sets. I’m guessing you’re a Nerdrotic and Critical Drinker consumer. It’s a choice. I’ll give you that. But SW is not dead. People said it was dead after TPM, yet it’s still here. It still delivers on great scenes and TV shows every now and then. (Andor) And are we going to ignore that Disney has absolutely cooked in the Videogame department? There’s also a lot of hype for Andor S2, with not even a trailer so far. In fact I’d say it’s comparable to Obi-wan’s hype. Finally. This argument about bastardisation is surprising coming from you. I could argue that Zack Snyder bastardised Jerry Siegel’s creation, Superman, and Bob Kane and Bill Finger’s Batman. But do you treat them as such? No. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Mark my words. The Andor U-Wing will fly, fly like a bee, off shelves. -
Wishlist: Future Star Wars Sets and Minifigures
CloneCommando99 replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I know I’m probably beating a dead horse at this point with the imperial sets… but I’ve recently been playing Jedi Survivor and want sets so badly. And empire seems to be the best bet of circumventing Lego’s stupid no direct tie-in play-sets policy. So here are two sets that’ll make me a very happy Tanalorian. (TANALORR IS MINE!!!) Imperial Forces Battlepack (£19.99): Scout Trooper, Scout Trooper Commander, Stormtrooper Commander and, a Imperial Jump-trooper. The commander minifigs would use a new pauldron piece made out of the new rubber cape material. Builds are: an imperial checkpoint, E-WEB turret and a DT sentry droid. (Spare pistols for scouts also included) Imperial Patrol Gunship (£59.99): Purge Trooper, Jump Trooper, Jump Trooper Commander, Stormtrooper, Scout Trooper and Ahsoka Tano (Rebels) The Jump Trooper Commander is distinguished by a white and Orange dual moulded left arm with imperial cog arm printing on orange shoulder, I’d buy 2 gunships and 4 BPs in a heartbeat. Lego! Make these sets and my bank account is yours!!! Stuff that’d go very nicely with what’s above: Tie Defender (£54.99): Grand Admiral Thrawn, Captain Pellaeon, Tie Baron and either a Death Trooper or Stormtrooper. ITT (£64.99): Stormtrooper Commander, Stormtrooper, Imperial Combat Driver, Lieutenant Lyste, Sabine Wren and Ezra Bridger. Partisan Z-95 (£34.99): Luthen Rael, Benthic Two Tubes and a partisan rebel. B-Wing (£49.99): General Calarissian, Gina Moonsong/ Pilot, Crix Madine and Mon Mothma. -

So the Daredevil: Born Again trailer dropped. I’m cautiously optimistic. But I remember the Secret Invasion trailer looking good as well. I hope he gets a spot in Marvel CMF S3 if it ever happens. -

It would be acceptable. That way I wouldn’t be missing out on anything. You’re 100% right. I completely agree with you here. OT is the bedrock of SW. Without it, nothing else can exist. Kids need to be able to buy the main cast at any time for an affordable price. Or at least Han, Luke, Leia and Chewie. Armies are great for us AFOLs. But you need the main characters, not just named clones and random Jedi, to keep the theme alive and accessible to new fans. Mando-verse Tie Defender set releasing at the same time as that to combat each other would go so hard. (Also I’m pretty sure they’ll show up in M&G as Thrawn has a stockpile of Tie Defenders ready to go thanks to Morgan Elsbeth’s factory. As teased by ToTE.) This is exactly how it should work. With vehicles like imperial shuttles and tie fighters providing leeway between Mando-verse and OT. -

Simple: I hope armoured Obi-Wan doesn’t remain exclusive to the V-19. Probably my favourite Obi-Wan design, but I do not care for the V-19 at all. (I’ve also already bought the ARC-170 as well) -

And then: Commando Droid, SM-33, Magna Guard, General Grievous, BB9E, Hu Yang, DT sentry droid…. And then they’ll start doing remakes. It’ll never stop. -
Asterix and Obelix Tintin (The Unicorn would be such an awesome set) Thunderbirds (Thunderbird 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and Shadow are perfect for Lego sets)

https://imgflip.com/i/9gfgln As a matter of fact of a fact, I have. I believe it’s fake. But a rather convincing fake at that. -
I like these. Great way to get the character designs.

Andor is the only SW show that’s gained viewership as the episodes came out. Everything else had a decline in viewership as the show went on. I wonder if the buildable Chopper is supposed to be a Rebels’ 10th Anniversary set of sorts. -

General Kenobi and Ventress could have been what he was referring to. But he might have been misleading with that statement as he also said that LSW fans were eating well this summer, though now we have more knowledge, it mostly appears to be TCW fans specifically who are eating well. Those would be great alternatives instead of another clone one. R1 would also give them the chance to reuse K2S0. But Mando S2 would give us more troopers. Bad Batch on the other hand could give us Republic Crosshair and/or Rampart (BBY Vice-admiral Torso!) and Howitzer. Maybe we still don’t have any additional details on it because it’s based on the animated show that’s in development? Touché. True. I hope that Lego’s better at balancing next year though. It’d be just as bad if there were no Clone Wars or prequel sets. I just hope that Tie Defender, Patrol Gunship and ITT will make the cut. Y’know what. I’m not going to lie that i find the wave a bit disappointing. But I’m now just going to focus on the positives, I’m tired of being negative. (Unless yet another clone set is announced) 327th BP will be hype if it includes both Bly, Aalya and a decent number of 327th. I think the build will be either a minifigure scale swamp speeder or a Corporate Alliance Tank Droid. -
I won. But at what cost? (I also lost) Since we have nothing better to do imma restart the Ninjago-fied DC series concept. So let’s start where we left off. Season 7: The Court of Owls (Dick and Cass season) Supergirl’s Anti-Kryptonite armour (£12.99): Supergirl and a Talon (kryptonite infused) Court of Owls pursuit (£29.99): Nightwing, Wally West, KG-Beast, Talon and a Court Member. Builds are a Nightwing Motorcycle and a Court of Owls muscle car. Batcave Break-in (£39.99) Batman, Damian Wayne (Robin), Alfred (Tactical gear print with new shotgun mould), Deathstroke and The Court Leader (Evil Alfred). (Builds are a small Batcave with a Bat-cycle.) Owl’s Hollow (£39.99): Supergirl, Aqualad, Talon, Owlman and Ultraman. Builds are the Court’s headquarters and a portal to Earth 3. Yara’s Wonder-car (£22.99): Yara Flor, Casandra Cain and Johnny Quick. (‘Borrowed’ Batmobile with a Yara Flor paint job.) Kyle’s Emerald Striker (£49.99): Kyle Rayner, Superwoman, Yara Flor, Casandra Cain, Court Member, and Mazash. (Build is a GL tank.) Batgirls’ Combo Jet (£59.99): Cassandra Cain, rejuvenated Barbara Gordon, Talon, Sea King, Wally West and Power Ring. (Build consists of a Jet that can drop a motorcycle and split into two other smaller jets.) Kalju Grid (£59.99): Nightwing, Kyle Rayner, Atomica, Grid, Aqualad, Deathstorm and Deadeye. (Massive Grid mech with a sizeable swordfish for Aqualad to ride.) This season is a combination of the Forever Evil and Court of Owls storylines. The gang have returned to Gotham expecting amateur criminals and Arkham inmates. But what they find is an enemy more dangerous than what they’ve ever faced before. Soooo…. Just another Tuesday in comic book Gotham. Let me know if you want to see Season 8: Darkseid War: Part One

I’d just hope they’d do the tactical gear variant with the pauldron. Touché. The final ship set has to be a villain set right? There’s no way the MTT is the only play-scale villain vehicle of the year right? Something needs to counter the ARC 170, U-Wing, Ahsoka’s Interceptor, V-19 Torrent… It makes no sense for Lego to allow the light-side to have complete aerial superiority. Who are they supposed to fight against? -

Soooooooooo We thinking there’ll be a Death Trooper in the U-Wing? There’s no way Lego doesn’t pass up on the obvious opportunity to reuse a returning mould in more than one set. Also. You know what’s funny? The 2025 advent calendar will probably have a better era balance than the entire LSW year. -

Any ideas on what the May 4th Promo will be? -
Clone bros have made me sympathetic to Pong Krell. Lego-wise I have been bombarded with bad news after bad news over the last month. No Superman sets, the LSW summer wave not having any affordable imperial sets, no era variety whatsoever in the SW summer wave play-sets… etc…. It’s all made me realise. We live in a Clone bro society. And I’m the Clonkler baby!!!!!!!!!! Hehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahhahahohohohohohahohehehahoheho And I’ll stay this way until some good news comes round. That U-Wing and the final ship in the SW line-up had better have good figure selections and be worth it! Hehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahhahahohohohohohahohehehahoheho Hehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahhahahohohohohohahohehehahoheho

There will be times when the struggle seems impossible. I know this already. Alone, unsure, dwarfed by the scale of the clone sets. Remember this. Balanced waves are a pure idea. It occurs spontaneously and with instructions. Random acts of non-TCW sets are occurring constantly throughout the galaxy. There are whole fans of movies, trilogies that have no idea that they've already enlisted in the cause. Remember that the frontier of the non-TCW SW fans is everywhere. And even the smallest act of non TCW sets pushes our lines forward. And then remember this. The clone bro need for control is so desperate because it is so unnatural. Tyranny requires constant effort. It breaks, it leaks. Brown bricks are brittle. Oppression is the mask of fear. Remember that. And know this, the day will come when all these purchases and builds, these moments of building will have flooded the banks of the clone bro authority and then there will be one too many. One single set will break the siege. Remember this. Buy (The Andor U-Wing).
