Day #50 of glorious Tie Avenger campaign. I’ll do you one better! There will be at least one Lego Star Wars grey brick next year. @Skiffle the others are right. If you want to build credibility then less predictable things or even fig lists for the predictable things would go a long way. Sorry mate. I hope we get more desirable characters in microfighters. Fingers crossed for Krennic, Thrawn or MARA JADE next (UJ/) I need Krennic to be released in a cheaper set than the DS next year. His torso is super useful and can do double duty as he has the same rank plaque as a Admiral.

Yeah we figured. You wouldn’t happen to know the minifigs would you? Day #49 of Tie Avenger requesting. I don’t mind the RTG sets. The Dark MF and Jedi Bob’s starfighter are quite fun concepts. It’s only the X-Wing and Tie which I see as problematic since it just means they’re going to have to be remade sooner rather than later due to the lack of iconic characters included. And also the lack of characters I want in it is a tad annoying (couldn’t they have waited a year and made it an Andor tie in or done it that summer anyways but Mandoverse with Carson Teva/ ROTJ with Wedge and Mon/ Blue Squadron from Rogue One?) The single RTG play-set could only be argued to be annoying since it’s the only choice of non-clone play-set in the entire wave. Not that the set itself shouldn’t exist.

I think this is actually a pretty good estimate. It’ll be 19 inches right? I hope so. But I’ve given up hope of a GL mech at this point.

Huzzah. The Wonder Woman movie gives me hope that a Wondergirl will be featured in Teen Titans. Donna’s exclusion from the 2003 series did tremendous damage to her relevancy. Now we just need to get a fixer up in the video game department. Marvel and Image (somehow) are running laps around us. The possibility of world’s finest gives me hope that Lego will be backed into a corner and make sets based off it due to their Batman sells principle. Can we get Trinity, JLI and GLC movie announcements next please Mr Gunn? And a Dceased Elseworld adaptation? Now I eagerly await the Lanterns suit reveals.

With the way things are going right now… they’re going to replace the next planned play-scale AT ST with a Doom Legion AT XT. We’re in this together my friend. If it’s an attack shuttle then I may be interested. Agreed. We all know what the set slot should have been…. I feel like the Destiny’s Bounty has a valid excuse of being a different variant every single time one gets made. One Piece literally hasn’t even released its first wave yet so it hasn’t even had the chance to downscale a remake. HP Main Tower is a very good point though. I wish we could get an imperial base series in that style at some point. Fair enough. I din’t realise @legoturtle was a Clone Bro. Would explain a lot though.

Hopefully we can get some minifig scale imperial ground vehicles like the ITT soon. It honestly hurts seeing the LSW I grew up loving be twisted and manipulated into something entirely different. Listen, I know you’re right. But this is like the safest bet you could take for a set next year. It’s like saying the cancelled Rogue Squadron movie would have an X-Wing set tie-in. The Razor Crest is the titular characters’ ship in the movie, of course it’s getting made. That being said, you are right.

Perfect opportunity for a 2013 Geonosis style Battle of Jakku or Endor wave. So according to Tony Gilroy, Star Wars is supposedly done with streaming after Ahsoka Season 2. What does that mean for the future of LSW? Will we get more sets based off movies?

The Aslume isn’t here anymore. It’s flown away… it’s everywhere now. (SW, Marvel, DC… we’re all suffering from a lack of coverage of new content and fixation on one brand of characters) Day #43 of my noble crusade. Wedge, Norra, Kleya, Melshi, Cassian, Jyn, Cal, Kanan, Bix, Sato, Baze, Chirrut, Cere, Kallus, Zeb, Ezra, Mon, Bodhi, K2S0, Saw, Luthen, Vel, Tech, Nemik… They all sacrificed more for the rebellion than fraud Solo ever did. Yet where are their medals and dozens of minifigs? /s So many cool rebel characters who will unfortunately never get made or remade. It honestly saddens me. Especially seeing how we can’t get the main characters of some SW movies, shows and books over Glup Shitto clone commanders who have max 5 seconds of screen time.

Where have all the good sets gone and where are all the dioramas? Where's the streetwise Wedge Antilles to fight the risin' odds? Isn't there a Rebel Commando upon a flash speeder? If the Clone Bros bite on the overpriced sets this year… I’d say anything is on the table (which may have some positives) including off the top of my head: AT XT Falchion Tank Republic Attack Shuttle (I would be interested in this one ngl) Republic Y-Wing Republic Snowspeeder AV-7 Anti-vehicle cannon Z-95 Headhunter Police Gunship (please no, this should go to the empire) UT-AT SPHAT AT OT Minifig scale swamp speeder Dropship Named 501st (Jesse, Kix, etc..) Delta Squad 442nd, 91st, 104th, 13th… Glup Shitto Commanders And then they could repeat the process with remakes or milk the kriff out of P1. I sure do hope that the Clone Bros do have some sense of self control this year and at least wait for sales. If Lego gets the idea that Clones sell better than everything else, it’s game over for the theme. Thankfully some reliable sources on Bricktap are reporting that the U-Wing is selling exceptionally well this year. In Europe particularly. (Tie Avenger And/Or (ANDOR?!!) more Rogue One sets incoming?) They’ll work better on stormtroopers since the helmet’s chin will hide the neck bracket. Same man. The 2HY of 2026 better deliver for OT/ Empire era fans, like they have for TCW fans this year. (Though you probably won’t catch us complaining as much)
