DC Superheroes 2025 - Rumors & Discussion

Delusion time: Aaron Pierre is in Star Wars Starfighter, which will almost certainly get sets in 2027. Aaron Pierre is also playing John Stewart in Lanterns. Is it possible this increases our chances of a John Stewart minifig in the next few years since they’d most certainly want to reuse a faceprint of his very distinctive face. -

Finally. A movie where Ken, Lois Lane, Green Lantern, Lyonel Baratheon, Alexander Hamilton and Will from The Inbetweeners team up to defeat Doctor Who and Harriet Smith. Lucas I hope so. It would be hilarious. (But no Cassian or Range Trooper in that scenario ) And then the alarm clock sounded. I mean I wouldn’t completely rule out one based on Andor next year. But yeah, would definitely boost its chances exponentially. And crazily, not completely impossible that it appears. Since from the leaked trailers we already see the empire utilising prototype ATATs. So why not prototype Tie Fighters like the Avenger. Especially when it’s been established by the Shadow Council in Mando S3 that the imperial remnant are using hit and run tactics on NR supply lines, something that standard TIEs aren’t equipped for. But the Avenger, Advanced and Defender are thanks to their hyperdrives. *SW movie is specifically named Starfighter* First promotional image is of a Landspeeder. Make it make sense?! At least this one is actually getting made. (RIP Rogue Squadron. No matter what Patty Jenkins says, the concept is now obsolete thanks to Starfighter and never getting made) It’d just be stupid if they don’t release a trailer soon. As @Mandalorianknight points out, Lucasfilm really needs to get the marketing going and GA interested. -

Day #126 of demanding a Lego Tie Avenger. However delusional my desires might be, it’s still an awesome ship from an awesome show and deserves a set. D23 starts tomorrow. M&G teaser trailer? -

Marvel’s is 12+. SW’s is 18+. Funny thing is… there hasn’t been a play-scale Luke’s Landspeeder in almost 6 years. In that time we’ve had 4 play-scale X-Wings and 6 different hulkbuster types. -

Day #125 of Tie Avenger summoning I swear, if we get a 125th legion set before a good imperial battlepack or a Tie Avenger or a Tie Reaper or a Zeta Class Shuttle because of Doomsday… I swear to Lucas I’m going to crash out at those Glup Shittos!!! I’m not disputing this. But another hefty percentage of those adult viewers are also old fans who are returning to the SW brand. (Then there’s the entire question of whether Lego’s actually catering to kids instead of adults nowadays) Those old fans, now back in love with the SW brand, will show their kids SW. And that’ll improve Lego sales. Yes. There is no extra incentive to put a Tie Avenger in production. Andor is nowhere near that level. I understand that. I know that I’m not logical for wanting more Andor play-sets. But that’s what makes me a Aslume inmate, and that’s my greatest strength. Thanks Ah yes. The final form of clone sets. Grey minifigs with a grey build. /j -

Honestly, the 9+ age rating and $30 price suggests to me these are Speed Champions style sets. Battinson Batmobile and some other vehicle. -

Welcome to the rebellion. Thanks! You’re right. Andor, like most D+ shows, was not a complete and utter financial success like the Mandalorian until Season 3. But financial, whilst very important, is not the most important criteria of its success in my eyes. It’s revitalised hype for the Star Wars brand in among the General Audience and fallen fans after the thought to be irreparable damage caused by Acolyte (look at how Skeleton Crew did.) Battlefront II resurgence, Battlefront 3 Campaign, Rogue One being a Top 5 most watched movie on Disney + for almost a month, Celebrities actively praising it (George R.R Martin and Pedro Pascal), Grifters and even some of the most anti-woke ‘fans’ begrudgingly admitting that Andor is quality and Disney hasn’t made ‘woke garbage’ on this one, the U-Wing supposedly selling well compared to other 2025 SW sets… it’s all connected. People are rising up and returning to Star Wars thanks to goodwill caused by Andor. Andor is currently of little short term profit for Disney, but it’s going to be massively helpful for long term gain. You can’t have a successful franchise if there’s no fandom to sustain it. Andor’s quality and hype is actively replenishing the SW fanbase. Which will lead to a resurgence in merch sales and that’s where the real money is made. -

Day #124 of asking Lego to make a Tie Avenger in the foreseeable future. (Jokes aside, the last time a tie took a hiatus from the year’s lineup (2022), the following year had 2 play-scale Tie Variants. So it is possible. But as @Mandalorianknight justifiably points out, it’s more unlikely in the current clone and 18+ dominated landscape) (Don’t worry @BrickBob Studpants and @Lordhelmet, you’ll make your cameos some other time. Our Duros comrade just was the easiest of our cabal to edit into this meme) Thanks. I’m not going to throw away my shot (at a Tie Avenger) The longer the hunt. The sweeter the prize. There are enough memes and references to last me a decade. But getting it sooner rather than later wouldn’t hurt. Welcome to the rebellion Odym would be more fitting given the circumstances. Or even Tanalorr (which is mine) My foolish hope, looking at the X-Wing sketch which can’t be more than 250 pieces, is that it’s actually a smart brick duel pack with the Tie Advanced which is why it’s so absurdly overpriced. I wouldn’t even mind if the $70 7+ set wouldn’t be a Tie Avenger, because at least then it’d still have a fighting chance for later in the year. But you have a reasonable and valid argument. It’s just that after 2 years of Aslume and a year of disappointment, I am become delusion. Destroyer of sane predictions. We agree a Tie Avenger would naturally be great due to the automatic required fig selection (Pilot Cassian) -

So we’re getting: a 2 minifig polybag, 1 12+ Gimmick (definitely either a Batman Bust or buildable 1989 bat symbol) and 3 $30 sets. Realistically, only one of these should be a Batmobile (Speed champions style Battinson remake for the game likely imo.) So maybe one of these could be a comic based set for all of next year’s content. Scratch that. Most Speed champions are 9+ so that lends some credence to the Battinson idea. A $30 Justice Gang comic based battlepack with: Supergirl, Guy Gardner, Hawkgirl and Mr Terrific would honestly go a long way. Add a villain of some sort, even if it’s buildable. Maybe Zod, Sinestro or Braniac? Great way to just do 1 set that can work as a tie in for most of next year’s content. Build could be a GL construct (Mech!!), Terrific’s chair and something villainy. Same with a GL battlepack since 2 shows are releasing next year with 2 sets of leads. Kyle, Jessica, John and Hal. But Guy in a Justice Gang pack would still be enough Lantern representation. -

Day #123, 4, 5, 6 7 8 9 It's the ten Tie Avenger commandments It's the Tie Avenger commandments Number one! The challenge: demand satisfaction If Lego release the set, no need for further action Number two! If they don't, grab a new mould, that's your second Your Pilot helmet, when there's reckoning to be reckoned Number three! Have your seconds meet face to face Negotiate a price Or negotiate a release date This is commonplace, specially 'tween builders Most disputes die and no one shoots Number four! If they don't reach a peace, that's alright Time to get some bricks and a designer on site You pay him in advance, you treat him with civility You have him turn around, so he can have deniability Five! Build before the sun is in the sky Pick a place to Tie where it's high and dry Number six! Leave a note for your next of wave Tell 'em where you been Pray that Tie Avenger or Fondor gets in Seven! Confess your sins Ready for the moment of adrenaline When you finally face your opponent Number eight! Your last chance to negotiate Send in your seconds See if they can set the record straight Tie Avenger Play-scale Venator, sir Can we agree that lobbying for sets is dumb and immature? Sure But your man has to answer for his dominance, Venator With his wave? We both know that's absurd, sir Hang on, how many other eras were neglected because clone bros were greedy and ruinous? Okay, so we're doing this Number nine! Look him in the eye, aim no higher price Summon all the courage you require Then count One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine Number (Ten pieces!) Buy! a little something for the Hamilton fans on the forum. I admit some of the alterations are a bit shoddy. How dare you forget about: Vel, Draven, Cassian, Bix, Wilmon, the Ghost Crew, Kleia, Melshi, Jyn, Baze, Chirrut, Bodhi, K2S0, Raddus, the 2 POS senators, and the Maya Pei Brigade’s skeletons!!! -

One More Day Book Nook 😈 UJ/ A book nook would be cool. But it definitely is not what it is. I honestly think that if any superhero is going to get a book nook, it’ll have to be Superman first since Action Comics #1’s cover is too iconic. Far more important iconic than any individual spidey cover. -

GUYS!! Hopium time: Batman BatB is confirmed to be in Legacy of the Dark Knight, and has been very prevalent in the marketing so far. The Devs have also claimed that every Batmobile is in the game. These combined suggest that a BatB Batmobile set is now more likely than ever. What was BatB’s standout feature? It featured team ups with other heroes. I reckon that after Superman’s success, Lego may be more willing to capitalise on DCU hype. Now, which confirmed major DCU characters were also major recurring characters in BatB? Guy Gardner, Booster Gold and Blue Beetle. (Of course there were other iconic characters who are unconfirmed for the DCU as of yet such as Vixen, Aquaman, Green Arrow, Captain Marvel and Black Canary) Therefore, to capitalise off of both DCU and Legacy of the Dark Knight hype, it would be highly logical for Lego to make a BatB set featuring the Batmobile and Batman in the game and DCU characters who have upcoming or released projects like: Guy Gardner, Booster Gold and Blue Beetle. (Villain would naturally be Music Meister) Then again Lego isn’t logical, so this most likely won’t happen. -

Oh my. Sold. I’d buy 1 on Day 1 and then at least 2 more on sale. And not just because of Mara. The turbolaser turret is very well crafted. You’ve managed a perfect blend of stud shooter play and accuracy to shape. Something to which the closest Lego has been able to manage was the 2015 FO Battlepack. This set feels awfully tailored to me because, whilst my imperial base project already has a main infantry gate, this would be a perfect entrance to the ramparts. In fact it’d work so well that I have to politely ask you to please get the kriff out of my head!!! A thing I’d do though, now that there isn’t a Anniversary for 4 years, is replace Luke with Mara and make the 4th fig a imperial or rebel trooper (Vader’s Fist or normal stormtrooper?) Perhaps make it a full on legends set and make the scout trooper a storm commando and include 2? However, the officer would be a Captain Kaido reference ofc, his intimidating presence on Ghorman makes me want him, and the rank, as a minifig. I got it this spring. Absolutely phenomenal. I incorporated it as the main gate of my imperial base and used the floor greebling and corridor shape as the base’s template. -

Day #120 of Tie Avenger securing D23 starts next week. I bet we’ll get a public M&G trailer, since they’ll need to get the hype and marketing going for a continuation of a TV show locked behind a streaming service which 2% of the world’s population (with probably less than half of that actually watching Mando) are subscribed to and had a wildly unpopular 3rd season. And maybe a Maul Shadowlord trailer? Probably a closed door Ahsoka S2 trailer. And as soon as public trailers release, it’ll only be a matter of time until we get M&G set rumours. -

Wishlist: Future Star Wars Sets and Minifigures
CloneCommando99 replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Very nice. Very nice. I like the battle of geonosis sets. And Dooku’s Speederbike is a great shout for…. £10 set slot ideas (going by the rumoured SW and Marvel bikes, the formula appears to be 1 new/ rare figure and a common minifig) AT RT: Mace Windu and a commando droid (Mace could be swapped with a clone trooper because of army building capabilities) Buildable Mogu: Cal Kestis (survivor) and stormtrooper. Buildable Taun Taun: Luke Skywalker and Han Solo BARC Speeder: Obi-Wan Kenobi (armour) and a commando droid (Obi-Wan could be swapped with a clone trooper because of army building capabilities) Imperial Speederbike (Endor): Scout trooper and Leia Organa/ Luke Skywalker Imperial Speederbike (Lothal): Sabine Wren and stormtrooper. Ezra Bridger’s Speederbike: Ezra Bridger and stormtrooper Anakin’s desert joyride: Anakin Skywalker and a tusken raider Buildable Dewback: Obi-Wan Kenobi and Sandtrooper Buildable Bantha: Luke Skywalker and a tusken raider Luthen’s Speederbike: Cassian Andor and Luthen Rael Holocron Heist: Cad Bane and Todo 360 Baby Pateesa: Omega and Hunter Droidekas: Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui Gon Jinn Imperial probe droid: Han Solo and Chewbacca Ahsoka’s Swoopbike: Ahsoka Tano and younger Martez sister Peridia Howler: Ahsoka Tano and Night Trooper Nexu Attack: Padme Amidala and a B1 Battledroid. Battlefront 2015 uplink (Eweb and uplink builds): Rebel Endor commando and a stormtrooper. Buildable Gundark: Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi Spider-Maul: Savage Oppress and shirtless Maul (without legs) Rey’s Speederbike: Rey and BB8 Millenium Falcon escape pod: Rey and Kylo Wren I think this new £10 set slot should serve more as a way for kids to get main characters for cheap, rather than army building, hence why things like the BARC and AT RT would preferably have Jedi generals instead of clones. The theme needs new blood in order to survive. And cheap starter packs are a way to entice new blood. -

Day #118 of politely requesting for Lego to fabricate a Tie Avenger set as soon as feasibly possible. You got that damn right! (I personally think the U-Wing would have been great and a top 5 last year as well, but yeah it probably wouldn’t have been as much of a standout because last year was very solid) I sure hope it is. For it would be the road that leads to MARA JADE!!!
