Tie Avengerath Metrion Zinthos! (The 132nd day of our just cause) Good point. Though the M&G AT AT will also require a interior seeing as a hallway scene takes place inside it. You’re right. Hopefully it isn’t too bad of a downscale. I’ll probably pick it up on sale. Funny thing is, M&G literally provides the template for a fig selection that is literally a Mando version of the ESB AT AT sets. There has to be: 1 hero character (Luke/ Mando), 1 armoured imperial Officer (Veers/ guy in M&G trailer), 2 Snowtroopers and 1-2 AT AT pilots. It’s basically the same fig selection template despite being an entirely different movie. I hope we get March set rumours soon. The suspense and my lust for one of the 8+ sets to be a Tie Avenger are killing me. Also, a bit unrelated but it will probably result in us getting M&G set rumours, when the heck is Disney planning to start marketing M&G? Shouldn’t they be getting people hyped early on? I mean, it’s a proven effective strategy when looking how TFA’s first trailer was released in November 2014, and then became the 6th highest grossing movie of all time. And it has an uphill battle when it comes to General Audience hype. -

Day #131 of asking Lego to make a Tie Avenger Yeah, it’s an awesome set. I hope we see more like it. So. If we’re assuming that the 930 piece $150 May set is a M&G AT AT… that means it’s only got 230 more pieces than the Holdiay AT AT. Let’s assume 25-30 of those pieces go towards minifigs and blasters. That leaves only 200-205 pieces to go additionally go towards the build. And for all we know around 100 of those pieces will go towards a AT RT side build. Should we be concerned? -

Just get the Minifig Scan app. It’s free and all you have to do is scan the QR code on the bottom of the box in the app. -

Gingerbread AT AT leaked. Looks cute. But not $80 worth of cute. Maybe I’ll get it as a family build if on sale. Though I’ll say, a 2nd minifig would have made it feel a lot more worth it. And I know we’ve had enough of clones, but including this guy would have been a fitting end to the year. And in theme for the set. And a guarantee that it’d sell well among clone bros. I’m honestly suprised Lego didn’t do it. Edit: actually it’s $70 but I still think it should have had at least one more minfig -

Bold of you to assume that we’ll get more than the 4 currently rumoured. Also polybag. Which we didn’t get this year. -

One letter can make all the difference . (Day #130 of asking Lego to make a Tie Avenger play-set) Here’s another thing I don’t get about Clone Army building culture. Why are they amassing legions of phase 2 clone troopers on grey base plates and demanding more P2 sets, when it’s P1 we see in formation on that scale. With the only exception being the operation Knightfall. I’m honestly of the opinion that P2 is more suited for army building at most a platoon or company. P1 makes more sense to make battalions out of because of the scenes in AotC. I just don’t get it. Top 5 hopes for next year (excluding Tie Avenger) Good imperial battle pack No domination by a single faction/ era/ subtheme o Rogue One 10th anniversary play-sets Not too many smart brick sets Mara Jade in RTGS3 -

Day #129 of the cause Nah. It won’t be because Lego can’t use Battledroids to jack up a $40 price in a OT Battlepack. Unless… Imperial Ghorman Shenanigans BP? Yeah, it’s annoying. It doesn’t even look like there are any SW projects until then. I honestly think the decision to not release it for May 4th is bogus now that Doomsday’s been delayed, especially in the UK since May 4th 2026 coincides with Mayday Bank Holiday. Like, isn’t a SW movie for SW day a good marketing strategy? I pray for March news soon. Both DC and SW. -

So it looks like the D23 showcase is over. And what new things were revealed? Absolutely nothing. According to IGN they showed the same exact trailer for M&G as SW Celebration and last year’s D23. And they still haven’t released it to the public. What is the point? Nothing for Maul Shadowlord either. Disappointing. -

“Lost... I'm lost. And yet, I can feel its presence, so close, so close... I can see it in my mind's eye. Tie Avenger. Tie Avengerrr!!!” (Day #128 of Tie Avenger waiting) This one interests me since I don’t think we’ve had a 14+ SW set since betrayal on cloud city. I’m hoping this is a MBS location (Endor imperial bunker 🙏) or SW modular for Coruscant in the style of Ninjago city gardens -

Wow. I hope one of these is a Green Lantern mech. Who am I kidding. They’re all either Infinity saga, Batman or Spider-Man. We’ve been so preoccupied on whether we could morb, that we completely forgot to get the minifigs to morb to. -

Say that again Day #127. Maybe the August wave will just be this year’s March wave equivalent, purely just Ahsoka sets and AC? And the October D2C and that’s it. I think one of the 8+ sets will end up being a Mandalorian Gauntlet Starfighter in Maul colours. With Maul, Rook Cast and totally-not-Talon. The other 8+ should be a Tie Avenger. Almost certainly a Wolfpack Battlepack if it’s not a M&G set. They’d be cool. But let’s leave some room for other eras. Imma rattle off my estimated predictions March 75420 6+ ($39.99): this is an odd one. Since the other 6+ sets are either mechs or normal BPs and it can’t be one of those at this price. And it can’t be the AC? So I’m honestly not sure. 75422 8+ ($69.99): Maul’s Gauntlet Starfighter or Tie Avenger 75424 7+ ($49.99): Smart brick Anakin’s Jedi starfighter (seems like the logical next ship after a X-Wing and Tie) 75425 8+ ($69.99): Maul’s Gauntlet Starfighter or Tie Avenger May 75444 7+ ($44.99): Either a new A-Wing or a Wolfpack battlepack 75445 9+ ($74.99): New Republic Y-Wing, as featured prominently on the Adelphi base where Mando is employed 75446 10+ ($129.99): Razor Crest (thanks @Skiffle) 75447 10+ ($149.99): AT AT (yet again, thanks @Skiffle) TBA release date 75459 14+: please please please let this be something like the Ninjago modulars. 75460 8+: no idea 75461 12+: I was thinking this would be like the 2019 Tantive IV. But then I remembered Wicket is 12+. So either Buildable Mando or Anzellan. -

Delusion time: Aaron Pierre is in Star Wars Starfighter, which will almost certainly get sets in 2027. Aaron Pierre is also playing John Stewart in Lanterns. Is it possible this increases our chances of a John Stewart minifig in the next few years since they’d most certainly want to reuse a faceprint of his very distinctive face. -

Finally. A movie where Ken, Lois Lane, Green Lantern, Lyonel Baratheon, Alexander Hamilton and Will from The Inbetweeners team up to defeat Doctor Who and Harriet Smith. Lucas I hope so. It would be hilarious. (But no Cassian or Range Trooper in that scenario ) And then the alarm clock sounded. I mean I wouldn’t completely rule out one based on Andor next year. But yeah, would definitely boost its chances exponentially. And crazily, not completely impossible that it appears. Since from the leaked trailers we already see the empire utilising prototype ATATs. So why not prototype Tie Fighters like the Avenger. Especially when it’s been established by the Shadow Council in Mando S3 that the imperial remnant are using hit and run tactics on NR supply lines, something that standard TIEs aren’t equipped for. But the Avenger, Advanced and Defender are thanks to their hyperdrives. *SW movie is specifically named Starfighter* First promotional image is of a Landspeeder. Make it make sense?! At least this one is actually getting made. (RIP Rogue Squadron. No matter what Patty Jenkins says, the concept is now obsolete thanks to Starfighter and never getting made) It’d just be stupid if they don’t release a trailer soon. As @Mandalorianknight points out, Lucasfilm really needs to get the marketing going and GA interested. -

Marvel’s is 12+. SW’s is 18+. Funny thing is… there hasn’t been a play-scale Luke’s Landspeeder in almost 6 years. In that time we’ve had 4 play-scale X-Wings and 6 different hulkbuster types. -

Day #125 of Tie Avenger summoning I swear, if we get a 125th legion set before a good imperial battlepack or a Tie Avenger or a Tie Reaper or a Zeta Class Shuttle because of Doomsday… I swear to Lucas I’m going to crash out at those Glup Shittos!!! I’m not disputing this. But another hefty percentage of those adult viewers are also old fans who are returning to the SW brand. (Then there’s the entire question of whether Lego’s actually catering to kids instead of adults nowadays) Those old fans, now back in love with the SW brand, will show their kids SW. And that’ll improve Lego sales. Yes. There is no extra incentive to put a Tie Avenger in production. Andor is nowhere near that level. I understand that. I know that I’m not logical for wanting more Andor play-sets. But that’s what makes me a Aslume inmate, and that’s my greatest strength. Thanks Ah yes. The final form of clone sets. Grey minifigs with a grey build. /j -

Honestly, the 9+ age rating and $30 price suggests to me these are Speed Champions style sets. Battinson Batmobile and some other vehicle. -

Welcome to the rebellion. Thanks! You’re right. Andor, like most D+ shows, was not a complete and utter financial success like the Mandalorian until Season 3. But financial, whilst very important, is not the most important criteria of its success in my eyes. It’s revitalised hype for the Star Wars brand in among the General Audience and fallen fans after the thought to be irreparable damage caused by Acolyte (look at how Skeleton Crew did.) Battlefront II resurgence, Battlefront 3 Campaign, Rogue One being a Top 5 most watched movie on Disney + for almost a month, Celebrities actively praising it (George R.R Martin and Pedro Pascal), Grifters and even some of the most anti-woke ‘fans’ begrudgingly admitting that Andor is quality and Disney hasn’t made ‘woke garbage’ on this one, the U-Wing supposedly selling well compared to other 2025 SW sets… it’s all connected. People are rising up and returning to Star Wars thanks to goodwill caused by Andor. Andor is currently of little short term profit for Disney, but it’s going to be massively helpful for long term gain. You can’t have a successful franchise if there’s no fandom to sustain it. Andor’s quality and hype is actively replenishing the SW fanbase. Which will lead to a resurgence in merch sales and that’s where the real money is made. -

Day #124 of asking Lego to make a Tie Avenger in the foreseeable future. (Jokes aside, the last time a tie took a hiatus from the year’s lineup (2022), the following year had 2 play-scale Tie Variants. So it is possible. But as @Mandalorianknight justifiably points out, it’s more unlikely in the current clone and 18+ dominated landscape) (Don’t worry @BrickBob Studpants and @Lordhelmet, you’ll make your cameos some other time. Our Duros comrade just was the easiest of our cabal to edit into this meme) Thanks. I’m not going to throw away my shot (at a Tie Avenger) The longer the hunt. The sweeter the prize. There are enough memes and references to last me a decade. But getting it sooner rather than later wouldn’t hurt. Welcome to the rebellion Odym would be more fitting given the circumstances. Or even Tanalorr (which is mine) My foolish hope, looking at the X-Wing sketch which can’t be more than 250 pieces, is that it’s actually a smart brick duel pack with the Tie Advanced which is why it’s so absurdly overpriced. I wouldn’t even mind if the $70 7+ set wouldn’t be a Tie Avenger, because at least then it’d still have a fighting chance for later in the year. But you have a reasonable and valid argument. It’s just that after 2 years of Aslume and a year of disappointment, I am become delusion. Destroyer of sane predictions. We agree a Tie Avenger would naturally be great due to the automatic required fig selection (Pilot Cassian) -

So we’re getting: a 2 minifig polybag, 1 12+ Gimmick (definitely either a Batman Bust or buildable 1989 bat symbol) and 3 $30 sets. Realistically, only one of these should be a Batmobile (Speed champions style Battinson remake for the game likely imo.) So maybe one of these could be a comic based set for all of next year’s content. Scratch that. Most Speed champions are 9+ so that lends some credence to the Battinson idea. A $30 Justice Gang comic based battlepack with: Supergirl, Guy Gardner, Hawkgirl and Mr Terrific would honestly go a long way. Add a villain of some sort, even if it’s buildable. Maybe Zod, Sinestro or Braniac? Great way to just do 1 set that can work as a tie in for most of next year’s content. Build could be a GL construct (Mech!!), Terrific’s chair and something villainy. Same with a GL battlepack since 2 shows are releasing next year with 2 sets of leads. Kyle, Jessica, John and Hal. But Guy in a Justice Gang pack would still be enough Lantern representation. -

If they don't, grab a new mould, that's your second Your Pilot helmet, when there's reckoning to be reckoned Number three! Have your seconds meet face to face Negotiate a price Or negotiate a release date This is commonplace, specially 'tween builders Most disputes die and no one shoots Number four! If they don't reach a peace, that's alright Time to get some bricks and a designer on site You pay him in advance, you treat him with civility You have him turn around, so he can have deniability Five!
