Day #123, 4, 5, 6 7 8 9 It's the ten Tie Avenger commandments It's the Tie Avenger commandments Number one! The challenge: demand satisfaction If Lego release the set, no need for further action Number two! If they don't, grab a new mould, that's your second Your Pilot helmet, when there's reckoning to be reckoned Number three! Have your seconds meet face to face Negotiate a price Or negotiate a release date This is commonplace, specially 'tween builders Most disputes die and no one shoots Number four! If they don't reach a peace, that's alright Time to get some bricks and a designer on site You pay him in advance, you treat him with civility You have him turn around, so he can have deniability Five! Build before the sun is in the sky Pick a place to Tie where it's high and dry Number six! Leave a note for your next of wave Tell 'em where you been Pray that Tie Avenger or Fondor gets in Seven! Confess your sins Ready for the moment of adrenaline When you finally face your opponent Number eight! Your last chance to negotiate Send in your seconds See if they can set the record straight Tie Avenger Play-scale Venator, sir Can we agree that lobbying for sets is dumb and immature? Sure But your man has to answer for his dominance, Venator With his wave? We both know that's absurd, sir Hang on, how many other eras were neglected because clone bros were greedy and ruinous? Okay, so we're doing this Number nine! Look him in the eye, aim no higher price Summon all the courage you require Then count One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine Number (Ten pieces!) Buy! a little something for the Hamilton fans on the forum. I admit some of the alterations are a bit shoddy. How dare you forget about: Vel, Draven, Cassian, Bix, Wilmon, the Ghost Crew, Kleia, Melshi, Jyn, Baze, Chirrut, Bodhi, K2S0, Raddus, the 2 POS senators, and the Maya Pei Brigade’s skeletons!!! -

One More Day Book Nook 😈 UJ/ A book nook would be cool. But it definitely is not what it is. I honestly think that if any superhero is going to get a book nook, it’ll have to be Superman first since Action Comics #1’s cover is too iconic. Far more important iconic than any individual spidey cover. -

GUYS!! Hopium time: Batman BatB is confirmed to be in Legacy of the Dark Knight, and has been very prevalent in the marketing so far. The Devs have also claimed that every Batmobile is in the game. These combined suggest that a BatB Batmobile set is now more likely than ever. What was BatB’s standout feature? It featured team ups with other heroes. I reckon that after Superman’s success, Lego may be more willing to capitalise on DCU hype. Now, which confirmed major DCU characters were also major recurring characters in BatB? Guy Gardner, Booster Gold and Blue Beetle. (Of course there were other iconic characters who are unconfirmed for the DCU as of yet such as Vixen, Aquaman, Green Arrow, Captain Marvel and Black Canary) Therefore, to capitalise off of both DCU and Legacy of the Dark Knight hype, it would be highly logical for Lego to make a BatB set featuring the Batmobile and Batman in the game and DCU characters who have upcoming or released projects like: Guy Gardner, Booster Gold and Blue Beetle. (Villain would naturally be Music Meister) Then again Lego isn’t logical, so this most likely won’t happen. -

Oh my. Sold. I’d buy 1 on Day 1 and then at least 2 more on sale. And not just because of Mara. The turbolaser turret is very well crafted. You’ve managed a perfect blend of stud shooter play and accuracy to shape. Something to which the closest Lego has been able to manage was the 2015 FO Battlepack. This set feels awfully tailored to me because, whilst my imperial base project already has a main infantry gate, this would be a perfect entrance to the ramparts. In fact it’d work so well that I have to politely ask you to please get the kriff out of my head!!! A thing I’d do though, now that there isn’t a Anniversary for 4 years, is replace Luke with Mara and make the 4th fig a imperial or rebel trooper (Vader’s Fist or normal stormtrooper?) Perhaps make it a full on legends set and make the scout trooper a storm commando and include 2? However, the officer would be a Captain Kaido reference ofc, his intimidating presence on Ghorman makes me want him, and the rank, as a minifig. I got it this spring. Absolutely phenomenal. I incorporated it as the main gate of my imperial base and used the floor greebling and corridor shape as the base’s template. -

I completely agree. I’ve been advocating for an Imperial Base modular series for years. (Hangar, bunker entrance, armoury, barracks, detention block, command centre….) -

Day #120 of Tie Avenger securing D23 starts next week. I bet we’ll get a public M&G trailer, since they’ll need to get the hype and marketing going for a continuation of a TV show locked behind a streaming service which 2% of the world’s population (with probably less than half of that actually watching Mando) are subscribed to and had a wildly unpopular 3rd season. And maybe a Maul Shadowlord trailer? Probably a closed door Ahsoka S2 trailer. And as soon as public trailers release, it’ll only be a matter of time until we get M&G set rumours. -

Very nice. Very nice. I like the battle of geonosis sets. And Dooku’s Speederbike is a great shout for…. £10 set slot ideas (going by the rumoured SW and Marvel bikes, the formula appears to be 1 new/ rare figure and a common minifig) AT RT: Mace Windu and a commando droid (Mace could be swapped with a clone trooper because of army building capabilities) Buildable Mogu: Cal Kestis (survivor) and stormtrooper. Buildable Taun Taun: Luke Skywalker and Han Solo BARC Speeder: Obi-Wan Kenobi (armour) and a commando droid (Obi-Wan could be swapped with a clone trooper because of army building capabilities) Imperial Speederbike (Endor): Scout trooper and Leia Organa/ Luke Skywalker Imperial Speederbike (Lothal): Sabine Wren and stormtrooper. Ezra Bridger’s Speederbike: Ezra Bridger and stormtrooper Anakin’s desert joyride: Anakin Skywalker and a tusken raider Buildable Dewback: Obi-Wan Kenobi and Sandtrooper Buildable Bantha: Luke Skywalker and a tusken raider Luthen’s Speederbike: Cassian Andor and Luthen Rael Holocron Heist: Cad Bane and Todo 360 Baby Pateesa: Omega and Hunter Droidekas: Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui Gon Jinn Imperial probe droid: Han Solo and Chewbacca Ahsoka’s Swoopbike: Ahsoka Tano and younger Martez sister Peridia Howler: Ahsoka Tano and Night Trooper Nexu Attack: Padme Amidala and a B1 Battledroid. Battlefront 2015 uplink (Eweb and uplink builds): Rebel Endor commando and a stormtrooper. Buildable Gundark: Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi Spider-Maul: Savage Oppress and shirtless Maul (without legs) Rey’s Speederbike: Rey and BB8 Millenium Falcon escape pod: Rey and Kylo Wren I think this new £10 set slot should serve more as a way for kids to get main characters for cheap, rather than army building, hence why things like the BARC and AT RT would preferably have Jedi generals instead of clones. The theme needs new blood in order to survive. And cheap starter packs are a way to entice new blood. -

Yes. God I hope so especially since the Golden Age preorder skin suggests they’re doing comic skins. I have a personal skin wishlist for Batman, Nightwing and Batgirl (aside from obvious bases) Batman Nightwing Batgirl All 3 please. -

Day #118 of politely requesting for Lego to fabricate a Tie Avenger set as soon as feasibly possible. You got that damn right! (I personally think the U-Wing would have been great and a top 5 last year as well, but yeah it probably wouldn’t have been as much of a standout because last year was very solid) I sure hope it is. For it would be the road that leads to MARA JADE!!! -

Seeing how Golden Age, Bale, Battinson and Keaton are all confirmed to be in the game, I think that Batman will just be skins. So I actually think the 7 roster will be: Batman Robin Nightwing Batgirl/ Batwoman Batwing Alfred Commissioner Gordon/ Redhood I hope the confirmation that he’s playable suggests a new Nightwing minifig next year. Apparently the game’s story is an amalgamation of multiple Batman movies, comics, cartoons and videogames. So that’s why it’s not sticking to any continuity and why the characters are mixed up, the game is its own continuity. I am begging for the rumoured polybag to have that suit. The game version is just gorgeous. There’s probably just going to be a crap ton of skins. Especially for Batman. -

It’s actually happening. And it’s literally just Arkham City in a Lego skin? I think the different Batman actors are just skins with different abilities. Not that we play through each specific movie, Devito Penguin fighting Battinson suggests this. Don’t get me wrong, this is absolutely hype. Hopefully some other DC characters are unlockable. And that you can customise your loadout. -

Bruce Wayne and Batsuit polybag is coming. We’re getting a new Bruce Wayne minifig. Which suggests a Lego Batcave next year. Hopefully the suit is a new or decent one. But probably not and just the basic 1989 one we’ve been getting. -

“Bricks gather, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until Tie Avenger is a set. I shall take no clone sets, hold no buildable characters, no knockoffs. I shall buy no helmets and win no prize draws. I shall live and die at my post. I am the keyboard in the basement. I am the poster on the forum. I am the piece that clicks in the night, the light that brings the dawn, the horn that wakes the designers, the shield that guards the dreams of Andor AFOLs. A few things, 1. Because those were kids movies. All of which had no prior instalments that soured people’s taste of the film franchise’s brand. (Except for Mario, but everyone wanted to forget the live action movie from 30 years ago) 2. Captain America is still a household name. How did Brave New World do? I do not believe for a second that reported $180 million budget is true with all the reshoots. 3. Which iconic characters are actually part of the Avengers lineup in Doomsday? When the GA thinks of the Avengers they think of the original 6, the 4 2nd generations, Black Panther, Spider-Man and Doctor Strange. Now, who’s currently in Doomsday? Thor and arguably Falcon cap and that’s it. The rest are either Disney + characters from shows that a fraction of the GA watched or characters who haven’t been seen on screen in 5 years (Shang Chi). 4. Deadpool and Wolverine succeeded because of Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman and the previous instalments being loved. Remember Deadpool was its own thing, not connected to the MCU, and therefore didn’t have Phase 4 and 5 to tarnish its reputation. 5. Oh the MCU is very much vulnerable. Why else do you think Disney/ Marvel execs thought it was necessary to pay RDJ the GDP of a small country to return? Or supposedly bring Chris Evans and the Fox X-Men back? They’re afraid. And they have reason to be. Even Superman, who you say is not making that much, is outdoing every single Marvel movie this year. You’re right to say that Supergirl has an uphill battle. But it doesn’t matter as much if it makes less. It’s certainly going to have a smaller budget than Doomsday and therefore won’t need to make as much money to be considered successful. And then there’s the matter of quality. Doomsday is still experiencing rewrites and has 30 characters (if not more if the rumoured upcoming 2nd cast announcement is true) to juggle within reportedly 2.5 hours of length. Meanwhile Supergirl, a very iconic character from before the era of superhero movies, has a completed script that is supposedly so good that the writer was subsequently hired to write both Teen Titans and Wonder Woman. Which one is more likely to result in quality? And therefore have a better chance with the GA now superhero movies are on thin ice. If you’re talking about the anti-woke crowd… yes they are annoying. And I assure you, my argument is in no way affiliated with them. I am just facing the facts. My apologies for yapping but the age of Marvel’s dominance is over. Doomsday and Marvel is under risk whether you like to accept it or not. -

I've been cheated of you since I don't know when So I made up my mind, it must come to an end Look at me now, will I ever learn? I don't know how, but I suddenly lose control There's a fire within my soul and I can hear a claxon ring (One more look) and I forget everything, whoa Tie Avenger, here I go again My, my, how can I resist you? Tie Avenger, will it show up again? My, my, just how much I've missed you? Yes, I've been brokenhearted Blue since the day Andor ended Why, why did I ever let you go? Tie Avenger, now I really know My, my, I could never let you go I've been angry and sad about things that you flew I can't count all the times that I've told you we're through And when you go, when you slam Andor I think you know that you won't be away too long You know that I'm not that strong and I can hear a claxon ring (One more look) and I forget everything, whoa Tie Avenger, here I go again My, my, how can I resist you? Tie Avenger, will it show up again? My, my, just how much I've missed you? Yes, I've been brokenhearted Blue since the day Andor ended Why, why did I ever let you go? Tie Avenger, even if I say Bye-bye, leave me now or never Tie Avenger, it's a game we play Bye-bye doesn't mean forever Tie Avenger, here I go again My, my, how can I resist you? Tie Avenger, will it show up again? My, my, just how much I've missed you? Yes, I've been brokenhearted Blue since the day Andor ended Why, why did I ever let you go? Tie Avenger, now I really know My, my, I could never let you go (Day #115 of asking Lego to make a Tie Avenger play-set) Similar preference here. I’m happy with anything imperial at large. As long as it’s versatile. Night Troopers aren’t exactly versatile. So it’s been a rough year bar the U-Wing. A set which I think myself and @Swordy have a consensus on being the best set of the year. @THELEGOBATMAN too. But for more personal reasons. -

I love all of these. Hopefully no smart bricks included though. The Mandalorian & Grogu wave predictions 75444 7+ ($44.99) this one I have two possible outcomes for considering the 7+ age rating. New Republic A-Wing: Zeb Orellious, Jonny Coyne’s imperial warlord, The Mandalorian and Grogu (this is a smart brick set) ITT: Jonny Coyne’s imperial warlord, 1-2 remnant stormtroopers, incinerator trooper/ scout trooper (uncertain) and imperial tank driver or The Mandalorian. 75445 9+ ($74.99) New Republic Y-Wing: Carson Teva/ Pilot, Sigourney Weaver’s character, New Republic Soldier and a astromech. 75446 10+ ($129.99) Razor Crest: The Mandalorian, Rotta the Hutt, Zeb Orellious, Grogu and Embo 75447 10+ ($149.99) AT AT: The Mandalorian, 2 Snowtroopers, 2 AT AT pilots and the Commander from the trailer. Please note: I’m only considering the Y-Wing and ITT (well an imperial tank) as possibilities because there were rumours circulating about them as potential 2026 sets a month ago. And neither of them have as of yet been debunked. My current August and June Waves 2026 set predictions (if they’re existent) Wolfpack Attack/ Corporate Alliance Tank Droid (£44.99/$54.99): Commander Wolffe, Sergeant Sinker, Corporal Comet, Wolfpack trooper and 3 Commando Droids. (Either a smart brick set or Lego just knew they could get away with another price hike) Republic Frigate (£159.99): Ahsoka Tano, Luminara Undilli, Assaj Ventress (reuse), Nute Gunray, P1 Commander Gree and 41st P1 clone. Buildable Mandalorian and Grogu (£199.99): The Mandalorian and Grogu (sound brick included) Buildable Babu Frik (£89.99): Babu Frik Republic Attack Shuttle (£149.99): Anakin Skywalker, P1 Captain Rex, Denal, P1 Clone Pilot and Count Dooku Death Star Microfighter (£12.99): Grand Moff Tarkin Rebuild the Galaxy S3 set (£???): includes Revan and Sig Greebling (smart brick set) Tie Avenger (£59.99): Cassian Andor (disguise), Range Trooper, Stormtrooper and Director Krennic Ahsoka S2 set (£???): includes Ezra, Thrawn and nightsister (maybe more?) Ahsoka S2 set (£???): Includes Ahsoka, Sabine and Baylan (maybe Shin too) What I’d like to see: Any and all Rogue One 10th Anniversary play-sets TIE AVENGER!!! Andor/ Rogue One imperial battlepack not a complete domination by one era not too many smart bricks or 18+ -

I mean, it currently appears to be an evil iron man movie. I think Doomsday will fail or make very little money. It’s got like at least a 500 million dollar budget if not more. Then it’ll need at least 100 million for marketing. Meaning it needs to make at the very least 600 million just to break even. General audience no longer stands with marvel. The cast is too stuffed to give everyone a satisfying character arc. 3/4 of the characters aren’t even well loved by fans. Spiderman, Dune Messiah and Supergirl are probably going to win the 2026 box office battle. I can’t see Mandalorian and Grogu doing that well either, not after season 3 and TBoBF. -

Tie Avenger? Tie Avenger? Tie Avenger? (Day #114) Also I think I’ve figured out Lego’s game plan with remakes: https://www.bricklink.com/catalogStatsWanted.asp?itemType=S&catID=65 Observe how many of these sets have been remade in some form or another over the last 18 months. Therefore, here are some things to look out for next year: Dropship and AT OT, Ewok Village, Krennic’s shuttle, Tie Striker, Republic Frigate, AV-7, Z-95 Headhunter, Corporate Alliance Tank droid, Palpatine’s arrest, old republic set? -

9th September I’ll probably wait for Black Friday double VIP points and Christmas themed promos though. I’d definitely buy that. But I’d argue that if any lantern is going to get made in the near future, it’s going to be Guy. Seeing how he’s the only Lantern that’s appearing in PG non-animated projects. Of course John and Hal’s popularity could completely nullify that. Also Lego may want to choose a lantern who Batman can assert dominance over, thus Guy since he gets clocked. -

Day #113 of Tie Avenger hoping I mean, his JFO variant was an anniversary figure last year. So I wouldn’t expect to consider seeing him in any RTG sets until they use a design of his Survivor outfit.
