When I used to get the magazines as a kid the gifts were always builds. Did Lego finally realise that kids would rather get minifigures in their magazines?

And don’t forget there is the Desert Skiff that’s also coming which will have all the heroes (except Leia) If they do heroes I think it will just be Cal, Luke and Han. The latter two doubling as the stormtroopers for the set. Also, now that the piece count is confirmed to be 1555 pieces, what’s the likelihood of the original minifig list of: Vader, Cal Kestis, 2 stormtroopers, 3 imperial crewmen, 3 Death Star troopers and 2 Officers, actually being the correct one all along?

Death Star Play-set is happening (I hope) as it was leaked by numerous reliable sources. In fact it’s the one I’m most intrigued by and looking forward to. It should be the imperial equivalent of the Yavin playset from last year with presumably significantly less main characters and more generic troops.

I also think it’s going to not be a lightsaber character as a Darth Malak is already an anniversary figure especially seeing that Cal is the only Jedi anniversary figure. My best guesses/ hopes would be: Commander Pyre from Resistance (I know unlikely but the gold armour has drip), Rukh from Rebels or Legends (would also go well with the Thrawn coming this summer), Admiral Trench and many other characters. But hear my out, another medium just came to mind. The Lego Star Wars tv shows. So maybe the 6th figure could be old Jek-14 since I don’t think we got a figure of him when new Yoda Chrinicles or Freemaker Adventures S1 came out.

My dream DC CMF series would include: Green Lantern Kyle Rayner (OG suit with a red lantern Dextarr accessory), Flashpoint Batman, Red Robin (new 52), Kid Flash (classic), Wonder girl (Cassie Sandsmark), Captain Atom, Super boy (new 52), yellow lantern superman (injustice), Doctor Fate, Power Girl, White cloak Raven and Aqua-lad (DC Rebirth)

Nah man. I want those ASAP. plus a “It’s a Trap” Diorama

I doubt it since he’s already had a minifigure. However I do think it will be some sort of dark side character.

Speaking of promos, anyone have any speculation on what the 25th anniversary promo coming with the sail barge is? Or more importantly who is in it?

Falcon Fan has taken down all the summer leaks he posted. It’s probably nothing. But for safety of your happiness I will recommend not fully expecting anything that’s leaked this summer. But once again I think he was just requested to take down the leaks by Lego. So don’t panic.

All the other Death Star sets have been based off both death stars. I’m just thinking that some parts of the battlefront map would be pretty cool such (such as the gunning station, hangar control centre and armoury) It would also mean a possible greater variety of stormtroopers and differently ranked officers. I understand your gripes with my idea. But at the end of the day I’m only stating my hopes and no-one else’s.

Exactly, thank you. I would love most of the figures to be imperial troopers with a Tarkin or Moff Jerjerrod thrown into the mix. Just build wise it would both look cool for collectors and would make an absolutely fantastic playset for kids. Plus it would enable the play-set to double as an imperial base.

I saw this leak. Most of the senior admin guys on the sites which it is on are saying it’s fake and just a suggestion that some people took the wrong way. I’m still wondering what the figure combination is going to be. For the Death Star set that is. Even without Cal Kestis (my favourite Disney era jedi) it would still be a definite purchase for me. I’m hoping for one named and one generic officer with the rest being generic imperial troops. (navy, stormtroopers, and crewmen)

What is the likelihood that the Death Star playset is actually the Death Star 2 and is based on the battlefront 2 map? I think that it would be really cool and have good imperial base and army building applications. Plus with the tantive hallway being modular it would be easy to continue that theme with the battlefront map. It could include: a gunning station, a hangar control centre, an armoury, a small potion of a hangar (that can be completed by buying 2 of the set), multiple control consoles and some sliding doors.

Agreed. That’s what makes me think that dark side Rey is the falcon’s anniversary figure as there is A) a lack of villains and B) a lack of female characters. However there are some characters I would prefer: Republic Crosshair, Mara Jade, Mon Mothma, Klaud, Dedra Meero, Rebels Hondo and Commander Pyre from Resistance.

I honestly think that Fives looks good. Sure, the helmet print isn’t as accurate as it could be but it looks recognisable enough and it isn’t the end of the world since he comes as an extra to a great set. I do hope they do better and go above and beyond with Cal Kestis in the summer though. (arm printing and printed poncho)

I think Fives has a backpack as if you look closely there’s a black outline trailing his back.

Ahsoka already fits that slot though. I still think it could be Maul. With the lack of dark side characters and Lego celebrating the 25th anniversary of TPM it makes sense.

Good point. I wasn’t thinking about the whole prospect of it. What’s the probability that Director Krennic will be a figure in the Death Star playset? It’s slightly different to Mon Mothma not being in Yavin as he’s the guy who built the space station.

How would they even do that? Thrawn to the casual fan and average child is only recognisable as the red eyed Blue man in a white imperial uniform. It wouldn’t work.

501st Trooper, super battle droid, Ahsoka from the T6, Christmas Luke and Leia + 1 more which we don’t know about. So that’s where my speculation comes in.

Who do you guys think is going to be the final figure in the advent calendar? With the lack of villains (apart from the B2) that we know I think it’s probably going to be a dark side character so hopefully Darth Maul or a stormtrooper.

Knowing Lego there is a chance they’d do that. But Jokes aside, I’m my mind, it’d preferably include: Kyle Rayner (since his constructs are more detailed so more suitable for a mech) and a printed animal accessory either Green Lantern Bd’g (squirrel) or Red Lantern Dextarr (Cat)

I just want a Green Lantern mech. C’mon Lego is that too much to ask?!

If they do the turbo tank with shiny clones it could also double as a ROTS set for the 20th anniversary.
