    It would be amazing if they did a couple of different faction knights. They would have to do lots of foot soldiers etc. I’d be happy with just different knights competing from that point of view.

    So I thought I was being smart - I ordered 24 of the CMFs from Lego and had them delivered, with the intention of scanning the QR codes and returning the unopened ones I didn’t want. They arrived today, and all have the unscannable small QR code. Just tried the scales I have and they’re not sensitive enough to show the difference really, they seem to round up or down to the next whole number. Meh.

    Apparently the Bricksearch App automatically recognises which is which from the QR code - useful as when I used the QR Reader app it was a bit fiddly to have to keep switching between it and a list of what number corresponds to which minifig! Will hopefully test the Bricksearch one out at some point.

    I used the QR codes successfully in London Battersea today around lunch time, but you could tell others already had got in there earlier as there were no bat lords or goatherds (although an employee did bring me another set of them from out the back to check and there was a goatherd in that!)

    How did it go with the weights? I’m sure I’ve seen someone comment that they could be different for us here than in the guides because they might be coming from a different factory and use a different amount if glue, etc. so am curious.

    Definitely not really good. But it was above my expectations very briefly! Hopefully it will make a comeback this year - it would be nice to have some of the figures available from medieval sets like this one in it. If not, we always have PAB, I guess.

    I bought 3 from the Leicester sq store, and a bunch from Bricklink when they were starting to become scarce. I do like them but think the falcon print on the cape looks funny. Would definitely prefer a new (/old) faction in the MTS just for a bit of variety! Can’t wait to see some official pictures, but feel like I’m forever wishing my life away!

    I wouldn’t be surprised either way at this point. You could well be right, but I really hope not!!

    I’m not thinking that there’d be an actual dragon in the set - more if it were a hint about the faction that could appear. The one (shield less) knight in the majisto set needs company!

    Lego just posted a video on Instagram (and presumably other platforms) of a medieval scene featuring the castle and blacksmiths shop that ends in a close up of the old dragon. Would be nice if that was a teaser.

    Just saw the Botanical Garden set got approved in the latest Lego Ideas set today. Am excited as it looks beautiful, but also surprised given the very similarly themed friends set (41757). And also annoyed at myself for spending so much time and money turning the friends one into a modular ha ha!

    If it was coming out in a couple of weeks something would have leaked by now, surely? don’t get me excited!

    I might buy/use one of the segments from Tales of the Space age as a back wall. Then I’ve got the rocket and command centre from 60351, plus various mini builds from 31142. Will also try and get my hands on some of next years space CMFs as well, to go with anything I transfer from the NHM. But then I need to think about what else I can put in the NHM itself… Is there any way the fossils from 21320 could fit? I haven’t built the NHM yet and don’t own 21320 so don’t really have a sense of any compatibility. I guess there’s the Jurassic world 76940 one, but I don’t see the skull part working alongside the brick built one in NHM.

    That’s exactly what I’d like to do. I want to create my own (probably more modern-looking) space/science museum modular with the rocket from 60351 as the centrepiece in it. Then the NHM can be more just a HM, and will add various historical CMFs to it. This is all a pipe dream as I have nowhere to display all this, let alone the time to build it!

    Interesting that in the group shot, you can clearly see he has grey skin around his eyes, but in the individual one you can’t see any - instead, it’s all red?

    My natural history museum arrived today (it’s a pick a brick order that’s arriving on Monday!) Still don’t have any space to put it or time to build it though ha ha

    So, it wasn’t in the uk sale anyway. No 2nd castle for me! Actually very disappointed in the UK sale - not a single set I wanted in it, not even ones I might be interested in if the price was right.

    If there’s a 25% discount on the castle in the UK I’d definitely be tempted to get another, depending on what else is included in the sale here. Out of interest, are we expecting what will be in the sale in other regions to leak ahead of Friday? A 2nd castle would be nice, but I want to have a chance to think through priorities!

    I also got an email today saying it had been shipped. I saw a couple of people on Facebook groups post that they had actually received theirs, and a customer services person (who’s a member of the group as themselves rather than as on official Lego employee) replied to say that the people who’d ordered them first were shipped already, and the people who (like me) waited for the insiders weekend were just shipping now, so it’ll arrive a few days earlier than I’d expected. Not sure I’ll actually have a chance to build it until maybe Christmas, but it’ll definitely take priority over my other unbuilt sets!

    I was in the Leicester Square store today and got to see the museum built - in real life I really like the colours! Also, I hadn’t clocked the skylight on the little office.

    I’m just looking at the pictures on Reddit now and wondering what I’d need to do to turn it into a modular!
