    I’ve been trying to do this recently, as I’m a sucker for buying things straight away and not having time to build them for months/years(!) and have a backlog now. Waited all year to see if there would be a discount on the family reunion celebration 80123 as I want to mod it, only to realise it was retiring soon and on back order (in the UK anyway) so bit the bullet and ordered 2 of them last week.

    Would they have a problem having 2 castles out at the same time per se? When I was young I think I remember there being more than 1 - admittedly that would have been the late 80’s / early 90’s so a long time ago and I may be misremembering! I think having a smaller castle to accompany the lion knight one would make sense, albeit I agree that the 3-in-1 castle fulfils that role - when does it retire? I also agree and don’t think they would count the bricklink one, as it was a limited - one time - run and so not readily available to everyone.

    If we had a different Crow legs/torso combo I’d also be happy with that, to add a bit of variation. In my mind, a kraken knight could be really cool and different, but it might also look nothing like what I’d hoped for and I might hate it!

    Can someone remind me when we might find out which faction won? And what timeframe we might expect for the actual release of this set? I’d actually forgotten about it as it’s been so long!

    Agreed, although I like the design in general I feel like it’s a bit too substantial for them.

    Forgive my ignorance on this, but is the circular shield (with what looks like 2 sea serpents on it) from the 2-in-1 Deku Tree likely to be IP locked? I think it looks good for a Viking one, so it would be handy if it would appear on pick a brick at some point. Thank you in advance!

    Fair. Wasn’t sure if he’d be covered by framing it as a ‘prediction’ - so not an outright leak as such. I’m just amazed he’s managed to get his prediction right so many years in a row!

    All the info I’ve seen is: 10350 - Residential Townhouse Modular 3266pcs, $229.99 USD Likely December 1 release 2 thoughts/questions on this, given the timing. could it be, this leak - so soon after JaysBrickBlog predicted a residential building - is just combining that prediction with the earlier leak about piece count/price/release date - and isn’t actually independently new info? or - again given the timing - they’ve both seen a preview; Jay is covering himself by positioning it as yet another scarily accurate prediction, and the other person has just gone all out and leaked it as fact? just trying to work it out.

    I’m the same - the animal heads have been replaced with human ones, etc. it does make me wonder what % of people buy it for this same reason, and that maybe the common denominator is castle. I would love an out an out castle themed CMF series, with a mix of factions and civilians

    From the ‘townhouse’ description on Reddit it doesn’t sound like there will be a commercial premises on the ground floor, just straight up residential?

    Out of interest, who on here is into D&D? I never was, but bought these CMFs because they can be used as figures for general castle Lego. I’d buy other CMFs (or even sets) that would do, too but don’t have any interest in anything that’s too D&D-specific such as the mimic GWP they ran.

    That would be excellent - I think it’s a perfect GWP, and that they should definitely do it if they have any sense! Not sure they will though.

    I’ve just done the same - off to my local Argos in Sainsburys to collect it shortly! I never got into D&D, so couldn’t justify the original price, but I think £250 is reasonable!

    I agree that the name could just be a mistranslation- kennel master etc. would work. I can’t see them doing another animal apart from a wolf. Interestingly I read somewhere this week that the designers view the dog with the ranger in the D&D CMFs as a wolf.

    Bought a couple of the new dark blue space torsos today at the London Battersea store.

    I managed to find all apart from the Dragonborn at the end of the day today at the London Battersea store. People are clearly army building with that one!

    I don’t know anything about Dreamzzz but the dark blue space torso is apparently meant to represent a jumper that Mr Oswald wears under a lab coat. In any case, I didn’t see any of these parts at the BAM station in Battersea, London yesterday, so no early release here sadly.

    When do we (realistically) think there will be any news on which factions were picked for the Minifigure Prize Machine?

    I think it was on the back of the box. I’m gutted this set came out in my dark ages, and would love an updated version!

    That’s good. I was lucky enough to buy it at the time, but can’t get over how expensive MISB versions of it are now. It’s a good build, I’d make some mods if I ever get around to it.
