  1. Seeing how much the Castle in the Forrest sells for now on bricklink almost makes me want to cry - £425 is the cheapest in the UK! I’m also looking forward to the Mountain Fortress!
  2. If the Kraken wins, I do actually wonder if Lego might somehow revive the beard from Davy Jones, but pair it with a ‘normal’ legs and torso combo, so that people who want a fantasy squid-human-hybrid knight can have it, and those who want regular knights in the kraken livery can also make use of it.
  3. Had to scroll back a few pages to find this, but that was a good guess!
  4. The new Legend of Zelda Great Deku Tree looks like it has some interesting pieces for me. Torsos look good, and that round shield could work for vikings, too.
  5. By swapping weapons and helmets, and ‘upgrading’ one of them with a breastplate, I managed to get a little army from the Crow/Raven CMF. But it depends on the design - if it looks extremely ‘individual’ then yes, it would be a lot harder to do this with a new/kraken knight. I’d have to have him as just a lone, wandering knight.
  6. I voted for the Kraken as I think they could do a lot with the figure, but I was torn between it and the Crow! Thankfully I managed to snag a lot of the Crow knights via bricklink when they were vaguely affordable, so that’s what pushed me towards the Kraken and a completely new shield.
  7. When is the reveal of the choices? They said something to the effect of ‘the next few weeks’ originally, right? After reading some of the (excellent) ideas above, I’m really keen to see what they really are!
  8. Orion’s torso/breastplate from the upcoming space CMF looks promising.
  9. While I would L O V E this I can’t see it happening quite the way you describe it - space is a very modern theme, so they can have have it across everything and produce space sets for Friends, Technic, etc. in a way I can’t see working for Castle. I hope I’m wrong though!
  10. Is that a brick built flail (I think) on the far left?
  11. I’m slightly surprised this is so hidden on the Lego website. If you hadn’t posted that link, I wouldn’t have seen it. I searched around on the UK website for a while before localising your link to be en-gb
  12. I spend far too much on Lego. I deliberately didn’t get into Star Wars Lego because it’s just an endless money pit. Castle, pirates and space for nostalgia, and the modular buildings as they’re what pulled me out of my dark age. But castle has a special place in my heart. Unless it’s absolutely terrible I’ll try and buy every castle set they release.
  13. I’ll be buying it, just not day 1. I wish I had the time and space to build everything! Agreed, a Wolfpack (or decent pirate or space) GWP would be a trigger for me.
  14. I saw them on brick clicker’s Instagram. Not sure if people have seen others elsewhere.
  15. It took me a solid 15 mins of refreshing to get one. 30k of them (and possibly the price point!) meant it didn’t sell out within 5 mins like some of the previous ones.
  16. Ps do we think any of the other shields are painted/finished? Or just blanks?
  17. Not sure if this has been mentioned, but it looks like the tax collector has a hidey-hole for the coins in his room, and it slides into the roof outside?
  18. Are we going to get better images today? Or is it just this leaked one we’re expecting for the moment?
  19. I want to see a higher res photo than the one on legoleak on Reddit - it’s so hard to see some of the minifig details. The buildings look okay to me. When more images come out it’ll be interesting to see if there are any shields, etc.
  20. I just saw a brown chicken in the BAM section of the Copenhagen airport store.
  21. I’m still finding a mix of large and small QR codes out there. Am in Copenhagen briefly and managed to snag 2 goat herders while here, but there were 0 bat knights.
  22. Like I say, unfortunately I couldn’t go this year as I had too much to do before flying to a different fair (without any Lego sadly…) today. They normally show a lot of Q3/4 releases at the London Toy Fair.
  23. I almost went to this today but had too much to do in the office. I know from the venue that Lego had a much bigger space than last time, and were doing something quite different with it. They normally won’t let you into their old room there unless you’re an existing stockist with a pre arranged appointment, and even then you had to give your phone to them and sign an NDA. It was tougher than Fort Knox!
  24. I have to travel a lot for work over the next month. Realistically I think I will have time to visit Lego stores in Birmingham and Copenhagen, so will see if they have more in stock than the London ones.
