  1. Hang on, who said anything about a night action? My importance is to the clues we all get from my market stalls, or had you forgotten? Without them, we would never have got Cassandra nor Sabrina. I find it very interesting that you are targeting me so fervently. Do you want to know why? Because the only reason other than paranoia that I can think of for the results the Inquisitor has been receiving is that you are feeding him false information. Ah yes you claim to know nothing, but in this town, what good are claims? I'm not accusing you of anything (yet), however I just thought that this would be worth noting, as your comments have made me think of it on a couple of occasions already. I know very well that I am in no position to be making accusations, but I thought I should share my thoughts, just give you all one more thing to think on. Personally I still think that the Inquisitor is paranoid, but you can never be absolutely certain in these games of life. I also find it repulsive that you would suggest killing somebody just because it might possibly be "useful". What sort of a sick-minded individual kills people without solid evidence, simply to prove a point that has already been proved? If you want accuse me of being a heretic, then you would also have to admit that Sergio is one too. And frankly, I don't think that adds up, and you know it. I'm looking forward to seeing what your results are from tonight's investigation. So, let us drop this petty little argument until tomorrow and move on to the real business of the day. I have looked at what we know, and it is my opinion that we have sufficient evidence against Hernan, enough to convict at least. We've got more than we had for Sabrina, and I was quite happy with what we knew about her. Therefore I will Vote: Hernan (Stash2sixx). Hopefully we will get a fourth one today, there can't be to many left now!
  2. I'm glad you asked. In my opinion, we already have enough to say that it is most likely that the Inquisitor is paranoid. I feel that the best way to test him is time. I am certain that tomorrow he will once again get a cry of heretic, and so on and so forth. This is not only the safest option, it also means that we can clearly disregard his enquires as evidence for the time being. Even he himself thinks he is probably paranoid. If in the unlikely chance that he does ever come up with an innocent result, then we can rethink our theory. Until that time however, which I do not think will come, I am convinced that he is paranoid, and so it is my suggestion that we disregard this and move right on. Remember, there are fewer heretics than townsfolk, so if the Inquisitor continues to get heretic results then we can be sure that he is paranoid. We cannot afford to get hung up over one particular point; if we want to catch these heretics, we need to move fast so we can outmanoeuvre them.
  3. Now hang on a second people, please don't do anything foolish. I think it is very clear to us that the Inquisitor is definitely feeding us false information, so there really is no reason to kill me other than to get rid of another innocent. Of course, it is very likely that the witches would want to sway the voting away from themselves and towards me, so I suggest you watch who votes quickly today, and with little reasoning. I can see that my position among you is looking very shaky now, I guess the only thing I can really do is hope that you all come to a proper decision and aren't influenced by the witches. I am very concerned mainly because I don't want you to waste a vote, as it will help the witches to get ahead. However it appears you aren't going to believe anything I really say at the moment, so instead of talking of my suspicions, I will instead discuss a few points about my own situation. Firstly, I would like to address out dear Joan, who has very happily been talking over my head. If she wasn't the shallow fool that she appears to be, she might realize that I may in fact have some importance to the side of the innocent citizens. Do you think that just because I haven't been silly enough to give anything away to the witches, that it means I don't have any sort of helpful role? Ah, how naive the noble can be when they want to; they only ever consider themselves important, and never look beyond the surface of anything. If you all want to survive this to the end people, you are going to have to learn to plan, and to foresee the outcomes of your decisions and two they could effect you in the future. I truly fear that this town is beginning to turn towards the devil. We are becoming hasty because of our success, and this can only lead to disaster. So far I feel that this town has been doing an excellent job; do not let yourselves be turned in your voting by the well hidden sneaks who are trying to take over here. Secondly, there is the matter of the shopping. So far,we have managed to catch two witches because of the clues that have come from people shopping at my stall. But what do you think will happen once I am dead? Do you honestly believe that you will continue to get such helpful clues, that you will continue to catch more heretics? This is what I mean when I say that you must plan for the future; think on how your decisions could effect you in the near future. Lastly, I find it repulsive that any God-loving citizen could in good faith suggest the cold blooded killing of somebody just to try and make sure that the results of a torture are correct. I feel there is already adequate evidence to prove that the Inquisitor is paranoid, and I do not think the town would benefit from killing either Sergio or myself simply to get a little more evidence. You must also consider all the negative effects that would arise from such an act. Remember that God said to the people, Thou shalt not commit murder. It is bad enough that we are required to kill the ungodly, but that is a task which God has set us, and so it must be done. However, when people start suggesting to kill somebody of whom they have no substantial evidence, simply so that they can check they are right on something, that is when things have gotten out of hand. I far that if you continue how you intend to at the moment, things will only end in disaster, and the eventual take over of the witches. It is from the souls of those who commit acts of Sin that heretics and witches arise. I do not want to see this happen in my town. People, I understand that you face a tough decision, but I urge you to approach it with caution, for it is the hasty farmer who ruins his crop. Please, I ask you to consider what I have said, and to think twice before you make a decision. Look at the situation from all angles, and you will see the truth of it. This is what I did when I was looking into Bernard, and it is the reason that I managed to see him for who he really was. So far we have all managed to come to proper, informed decisions, and thus have reaped the rewards by capturing the heretics and surviving ourselves. Do not let this town turn to the devil, for once you start convicting without any clear reasoning, there is no way this town can be saved. I leave my fate, and the fate of the town, in your hands. I trust that you will make your decisions wisely, for it is not just my life, but all of ours, that hangs in the balance.
  4. It is my opinion Charles that the witches can most likely enter the church. Holy ground has not stopped them before, as you will remember when the Father was attacked. That's assuming his attacker was a witch and not Miguel. Did we ever clear that particular point up, I can't remember. Even so, I do not think Holy ground is likely to stop them, otherwise we could have got them all in day one by just making everyone walk into the church. No, I think that they must be able to, otherwise it would be obvious who they were, and these sorts of games of life never work on what is obvious. We must look deeper. I to am worried, just like Joan. It is day 5 now, and we haven't made a single mistake yet. Every conviction has been a witch, and so has every torturer result. No innocents have been killed during the night. Is this luck, or is it something else? I too think there is something very wrong going on here. On one hand we have God telling us that the three convicted people are all burning in hell, and yet... something just doesn't add up. I know there is something up with the investigations as I for one am innocent, so to me this brings into the light the trustworthiness of the Inquisitor. It is my opinion that he is a good man who is simply making paranoid investigations, however there is still the possibility that he is lying and playing us all like cheap violins. There is most definitely something not right going on here, and we need to find out what it is, before it is to late.
  5. Happy birthday Mary Zepher Joan, hope you have a great one filled with Lego and good cheer.
  6. I wasn't there because I was watching my shop. I don't much want anyone running off without paying, especially if they're stealing dangerous goods. Shops don't watch themselves you know. Now, as I thought, the Inquisitor has come back with another cry of heretic. Exactly as I suspected. Unfortunately, it seems to me that we cannot trust the findings of the inquisitor, but shall instead have to continue on with the other evidence we can find. Which doesn't appear to much at the moment, now that we've found the cross thing to be merely an illusion. Let us take a look at what we do know. From yesterday, there are three major people left over that still have some explaining to do, these are Hernan, Phillip and John. I have not seen anything suspicious about John, the only thing is that he was shopping at the same time as Cassandra and Sabrina, both of whom turned out to be witches. We could possibly look into this a bit more, but I think the other two are of greater concern at the moment. The next person on the list is Hernan, who has been accused of sending contradictory Potato Massages to people and generally stirring up confusion. He has however stated that this is part of his tactics. Still, it is not an honest way to play, so perhaps this needs more investigation as well. Lastly we have Phillip. The nobles of this town are giving me some troubles I must say. There is definitely something going on there. Phillip is continually going after Joan, which is causing some major conflict between him and Charles. The question is, does this point towards witchcraft, or simply towards a love-struck neighbour going after another man's wife? Either way it is a serious matter, and needs to be dealt with. What do the rest of you think? Let us discuss this a bit first, after all, we've got the last three witches through clear thinking, so if we continue, we are sure to get a fourth today! So, let us now work on trying to decide a course of action for today.
  7. I'm sure I invited him. Oh wait, he's dead. Welcome back Captain, I haven't seen around in a while! We have missed you, it would have been nice to see you in the Witch Hunt Mafia that's currently going on. No matter, I'm sure you will grace us with your presence in the next game. And don't you worry, I have a slot waiting for you in MCII if your interested. It will depend on when the game is being run; at the moment it looks like it won't be until August next year, although if a space becomes available I would most probably be able to fast track it. We'll have to see what happens. Perhaps I can arrange to have you... resurrected... for a little cameo sometime in the future.
  8. Good morning everyone. What a beautiful day, and with the new day, hopefully some new evidence. It appears that Sergio was tortured last night, so I ask the Inquisitor, what was your result? Was my theory correct? Now, on to the paintings. I do wonder why the alter cross is missing in all but one of them. Is this a clue, or merely an illusion on God's part? If it's a clue, I can't see what it might mean.
  9. I just received my most recent BrickForge order, and the new colours are awesome! I got a few things including the exclusive Tan Space Marine Armour and various weapons of Protection (that is, in the new trans-blue colour). I'm sure I'll find a use for some magical Dragon Swords.
  10. Hey, what a neat idea for a thread! I play a number of instruments. I guess you could say my main instrument is singing, I do a lot of that and have just recently been selected for the NZ Secondary Schools Choir, which is pretty cool. I also play the piano, I just sat my Grade 6 exam (a week after my Grade 6 theory too), so hopefully I'll get the results soon. I've played the violin for a long time, and have just recently taken up playing the viola in a Wellington orchestra. I also play in a Pipe Band, which is a lot of fun. I used to play the pipes, but I soon learned that I was destined to be a tenor drummer, and I have recently been training with the City of Wellington Pipe Band. I also used to play the Cello, but I thought that keeping that up would be a bit much. I also really enjoy composing, when I can find the time. Yeah, I do quite a bit of music now that I think about it.
  11. Ah excellent, another theme month! I need to update my avatar accordingly now. And look, pirate emoticons for the whole forum! Oh I'm going to love this. Time to go find the old hat and cutlass and get down to a bit of pillaging, what do you say?
  12. Yeah, mine arrived yesterday, and I'm very happy! I personally don't open the flaps, I just slide out the tray and build all the little things in one go. Yeah, I'm not one for waiting till advent.
  13. What a wonderful way to introduce yourself kerbos. Kanal-K1, thanks for your review, it has doubly convinced me to get at least one of these sets! This is an excellent set and definitely the best castle set we've seen in some time. I'm looking forward to getting my hands on a copy next year. Those cows aren't too bad once you get a coser look at them.
  14. Very cool, it is reminiscent of Hoth, isn't it? I like that. As usual you have used your unique style to great effect, making a very nice diorama. I particularly like the flaming spaceship and the use of string, although I don't quite get it's significance... Maybe I'm just not getting it. Anyway, very nice indeed.
  15. Wow, it's great to see all the interest that has sprung up! I'm looking forward to seeing what my new recruits have to offer. I'd better get to work on my module soon, otherwise I'll look a little silly once everyone else has finished. Just check the first post mate. I too would like to say well done to everyone who has built something so far, the entries are much better than I had even hoped, and there are more coming in every day. This is going to be one very cool castle! Keep building, and if you have any questions or need any help, I'm not far away. Oh, and well done ICS keeping up all the applications, your doing a fabulous job and we all appreciate it. Don't you just love indexing all those creations?
  16. It's great to see all the awesome builds coming in! Time for some comments. Lalande, that is a really cool Falconer's Mews. You've included some really nice details such as the pigeon droppings (), the feeder, and the colourful cloaks on the second floor. I really like how you did the baby as well. jifel, your armoury is very neat, although there is one slight problem in that your wall is a stud to far in. Check the first post of the main thread for the wall Standard, it shouldn't be to hard to fix. Other than that, it looks very nice, I like the "cluttered" feel it has to it. Keep building guys!
  17. Well I've sat and contemplated this for a while, and I think Sabrina is probably the best choice under the current circumstances. I just wish we had a bit more evidence against her like we did for the previous two convictions, but as was said often yesterday, it wont be much of a lose if she is a citizen, as she hasn't helped us all that much so far. Therefore I am going to Vote: Sabrina (Lt. Col. Thok). I think that that is the best choice that can be made, I just hope it is the right one.
  18. Very nice and sleek design, I like the contrast between your two main colours, and the SNOT on the cockpit is nicely done. I also like the patterns on the wings, they add a true sense of realism. Good work!
  19. Philip, I think you are a little confused. The Inquisitor has only made one other investigation, and that was of Bernard. It is my opinion that that was a fluke. No, if he were to investigate somebody else, such as Alexander, of whom we are almost certain is a citizen, then it would prove that he is a paranoid torturer without the need to kill someone. You seem all to eager to kill me for some reason. Remember, there are a lot less heretics in this game of life than there are citizens, so what is the likelihood of the Inquisitor getting another heretic in his next investigation? Not high. I am willing to lay my life on the line to bet that no matter who the Inquisitor torturers tonight, that person will turn out to be a heretic. It is the only thing that makes sense to me, for I am most definitely a citizen. The only other option is that the Inquisitor was lying, but I don't think this is the case. I find it repulsive that you would even suggest killing someone just to test a theory. Much better to prove that persons innocence without needing to kill them, especially as that person is me. Also, think of this. It is not so much letting of the hook, as just proving that we cannot rely on the conclusions found by torture. If my theory is proved correct, then those people who were investigated will still be just as suspicious as everyone else. If any other evidence is found, then that is fine, but I do not think that the Inquisitors word is a reliable point of evidence. At the moment, that is the only piece of "real" evidence counting against me, however you will recall that there was a lot more counting against both Bernard and Cassandra. Once we have proved that the Inquisitor was paranoid, then I will be just as suspicious as I was before, which, if you will recall, was not very high on most people's lists. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to continue helping you all to hunt out these remaining witches, once this evidence has been shown to be false.
  20. Glad to hear you managed to get them. They're not that tricky really, once you've figured them out. As for this one, it is completely empty inside, no interior, sorry. Glad to hear your looking forward to the game, I am too.
  21. Alexander, I agree with what you are saying except for one small point. I'm not a heretic. Pure and simple. And I most certainly don't want you to suspect the Inquisitor once I'm dead either, because I think he is a good man as well, from what I can see. What I want to know is, why do you keep ignoring my plan? From what you are saying, you are assuming that the Inquisitor always finds the correct result. I do not think this is the case however. If he investigates Philip tonight, he is more than likely to get a result of heretic, simply because this is what he always gets. No, he should instead investigate somebody of whom we are almost absolutely certain is a citizen. Then, if he comes out with another heretic cry, we will know that he is paranoid, and that I am innocent. This way you save two innocent lives. The Inquisitor agrees with me on this plan, why don't you? Yes it would be good for him to look into Philip's loyalties, but what is the point if he's always going to turn up with a result of heretic? No, we need to be absolutely certain that he is finding correct results before proceeding, otherwise mistakes are going to be made. Now I understand that to you I look like I am just doing the same as the two heretics we've caught already. However, there is one difference, as Charles noted. I have helped so far to clarify investigations and lead us all to correct convictions, not once, but twice. It that really the work of a heretic? If you think it is, then this town is surely lost. I beg of you all, just wait one more day, and we can find out tomorrow whether my theory is correct. There is a lot to gain from following my proposed plan, however there is a lot to lose if we do not. Now, on to what I think of the rest of the situation. Hopefully, you'll all still value my opinion, even if some of you do think of me as a suspect. Firstly, we have three major suspects other than myself, they are Sabrina, Hernan and Philip. Hernan has been arousing some major suspicion because of his various conflicting Potato Messages. Is this a ploy to create confusion, or what he says it is, a tactic? It is hard to tell, but to me it seems highly suspicious. There is also the fact that he has been very unclear in his voting so far, but then, he says this is tactics as well. Still, very suspicious if you ask me. Then we have our ogling noble, Philip. It appears he has some sort of night action, or so he says, but why can he only use it on some nights, and not others? That seems very weird. It is possible that he was doing what Charles suggested, trying to convert either Joan or Charles. But then why would God tell us this? It is very rare in games of life that God tells the people of the town what the heretics are up to. Yet still, there is something going on there. Lastly we have Sabrina. Over the last four days she has said little, has not helped us to find the heretics, and has done a lot of shopping at my stall. I would not normally complain about people buying things from me, but in these days and times, it is suspicious, especially when she needs to buy so much. The question is, what has she been buying, and why? From what I can see, we do not have anywhere near as much evidence as we have had on the previous two days, however there are a lot of suspicions. I am leaning towards Sabrina, mainly because there is a lot of suspicion against her, and she has not said all that much in her defence. However I would much prefer to vote on some clear evidence, so I will wait a little longer to see if anyone has anything new to say before I cast my vote. As for who should be killed tonight by Miguel, if he has the father's consent, then I would back the decision against Hernan as well. He just changes his mind too often to be innocent. Still, it would be nice if there was some hard evidence, but as these times are becoming more desperate, it seems we shall need to start voting more and more of suspicion. Still, I always have, and always will prefer to have evidence. I have a strong feeling that someone in my family will be a lawyer in the future, whatever that is... Well, that's all I have to say for now, hopefully it will help in some way.
  22. Very impressive Hinck, well done. The detail on the interior is really nice, I like what you did with the floors, and the main cinema is very cool. As for the exterior, well, what is there to say? It's awesome. It reminds me a lot of a cinema I saw in Melbourne whilst I was away, I can't remember what it was called, but it had this sort of style to it. It has a very grand, looming sort of quality, I like it! The inclusion of pieces from the Town Plan set is very nicely done and add to this MOC in a positive way. I also like your creative use of parts, such as the use of SW rebel helmets. The top half is very clever with some nice use of sand green to highlight the greys. The topography is very well thought out too. My one criticism is that the second floor looks a little empty. Keep building mate, I'm looking forward to seeing your newly refurbished town complete! I only wonder what devilishly evil things the people of Moonlight will get up to in that cinema during the Baritones 2.
  23. Charles, I agree with your evaluation 100%. From the average town perspective, that is how things are looking. I would love to add my own comments but I can see that most people don't trust me right now, which is a pity. Hopefully once this is all cleared up by tomorrow, I can continue to help the investigation. I have given my side of the case and proposed a plan to prove my innocence as well as the innocence of our Investigator, now it is up to the rest of you to do what you all think is best for the town. I hope you all see clearly and aren't blinded by the slimy witches. I have helped with the previous convictions because I really want to see this witches dead, I hope you give me the chance to continue to help you all rid this town of evil. One thing I am still confused by is the scimitar. Who bought it, and why?
  24. I seem to recall that everyone was flirting with her. And when she started pushing herself on me, I told her in to uncertain terms to back off. She hasn't even spoken to me I don't recall since day 1...
  25. Thanks for the tip off, I just went and got myself three of these. They look very cool, I can't wait until they arrive so I can test them out!
