You will be making a terrible mistake by voting for me. I know it sounds suspicious, and I understand that you may not want to believe me, but if any of you want to survive this, you're going to need to start looking at things in another way, rather than just at face value. We will never get these witches if we do not come together and look more deeply into what we know. Charles, previous games of life have no bearing whatsoever on the hear and now. The only game of life I can even remember ever playing in was some thing about Baritones, and I seem to recall I was innocent then as well. Wait, what are we talking about? Stop bringing up other games... of life. By the way, I seem to remember a certain someone else having a very silver tongue in a certain Roman Mafia game (of life), don't you remember? Please consider what I said before. If you wait one more night, then you will not only be able to confirm myself and the Inquisitor as innocent, but we will find out at the same time whether what the Inquisitor has to say is worth listening to. I do not want to see the Inquisitor die simply because I turn out to be innocent after he has declared me an innocent. No, we must be cautious. If my plan does not work, then by all means, vote for me tomorrow, as the only reason I can think of that the Inquisitor would call me a heretic were if he is paranoid. I am certain this is the case, unless God is playing with our minds. It is possible that he could recieve random results, but I find this even more unlikely. Please consider the following, which I found in an old book in my store: As you can see, I think that the only explanation is that our Inquisitor is paranoid. I am innocent, and by following my proposed plan, this will prove it, and will also save you from killing our Inquisitor. Please, it would be much better to wait a day then to risk killing two innocent people. I may sound desperate, and in truth, I am. I'm desperate to prove to you all that I am innocent, so that we don't end up wasting another two days in which the witches would be able to ruin this fine town even more! I must agree with you, I think my stall must hold some sort of significance, otherwise God would not keep bringing it up. I think it is offering clues into what the witches are up to, as well as the other town folk, we just can't see it. My only fear is that if you kill me then these clues will stop becoming available to us all, and then you really will be stuck. We got Cassandra because she had been visiting my stall, surely we can get the other witches in the same way?

Alexander, of all the people, I thought you would be someone who would think about this a little more before blindly voting. I am very disappointed. If the rest of you continue like this, then this town really will have no hope, for I think the only way we will catch these witches is if we look at every clue thoroughly and try to figure out what it truly means. I assume that you read what I had to say previously Alexander? I do not want the Inquisitor to be killed when you all find out I'm innocent, as I believe he is a good citizen as well. To avoid losing two good players and wasting two votes, it would be far wiser and much more beneficial to us all if we follow my afore said plan. This way nobody has to be killed, and I can prove my innocence without you needing to kill me or the Inquisitor. It also means we will discover whether the Inquisitor truly is paranoid, and thus useless to us as a torturer, but still worth keeping as an innocent man. Please, consider this carefully, as it could effect us all in the future.
-
Unfortunately not, I am just as baffled as you are. I think my stall does offer some clues as to what people are up to, so it is definitely something to be considered. I am not told anything of who purchases what, nor do I have any idea what use people put my goods to. I'm sorry I can't be of any greater help in this. It does appear however that some people at least received some sort of information about this yesterday via Potato Mail. Perhaps they could enlighten the rest of us?
-
Good point, do you have someone else you could suggest? Perhaps say Alexander, I think we can all agree he is innocent. Or you yourself? I don't know, who are we certain of at the moment? I would suggest Martinus, but I'm not sure whether the Inquisitor would be allowed to interrogate his helper. Perhaps God could tell us if this is possible?

Hi Whittleberry, welcome to our not-so-little community. I hope you have fun here and I look forward to seeing any MOCs you do. I'll definitely go take a look at your Brickfilms sometime too. I've never heard of a Whittleberry, what colour is it? And is it sweet or sour? Enjoy our crazy community.

Well this is a very weird topic, with its subtle discussion of happiness. I don't know whether I'll be happy on Saturday, after the people in my country vote for their favourite entry in a certain competition, but I most certainly know I'm not happy at the moment, as my cat died on Monday. He was only just over a year old. Yeah, so, not happy here. But don't mind me, continue with your happy frivolity, I don't mean to ruin the fun.

Hi AwesomeStar, this is unfortunately not possible as the Jedi hoods go below a minifigs neck. Any headgear which goes below a minifigs neck is not compatible with this item, so you will have to think of another solution sorry. The only way I could see it working were if you were to cut one or both of the pieces, but if you are taking a purist approach, then this will not work. The other option would be to not use the neck piece and to instead glue the pauldron pieces to the hood or the minifig, but I am not sure how this would look. Hope that helps you in your decision making.

EB Community Castle Build: Discussion Thread
Dragonator replied to I Scream Clone's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Really nice ICS, Beautifully done. And well done also to everyone else so far, the various sections are looking great, and the project seems to be progressing nicely. I am sorry to say that it might take me a couple of months to do the gate house, as I have at least 6 other creations to build in the next 2 months for the CCCVI contest first, however I will keep working on designs and will be of course happy to help anyone that needs it. I can't wait to see what the rest of you have been up to, it would be awesome if we could get all these modules together. -
As I said over on CC, fantastic work. Your definitely in line for an Honourable Mention, if not first place! The detail in this is fantastic, from the of centre dock and building, to the landscaping and the stonework on the house and dock. I love these half timber houses, and was in fact considering building one myself. Maybe if I have time I'll do a scene with some houses or something. I've got a haunted tower and a tapestry to build first though. Good luck in the contest, I think your going to do really well.

This is the problem. I think that I will be a valuable person to have around later on when we are looking for subtle clues to give away the witches, so I do not think it would be beneficial to any of you or to me to vote me off. That leaves the question of how do we find out what is going on here? I personally believe that he is a Paranoid torturer. I do have a way we can prove this. Get him to investigate somebody who we can guarantee is innocent. I would suggest possibly Miguel, as we know that he is the town vigilant, and so therefore must be a citizen. Or perhaps you have another suggestion? Anyway, he investigates someone who we know to be innocent, and if the result turns out to be a cry of heretic, then we would know that he is a paranoid torturer. It would be worth finding this out for a couple of reasons. Firstly, we need a way to discover what sort of torturer he is before e go around and start killing people. If he is a paranoid torturer, then he may as well stop torturing, as it wont get him any results which can be relied upon. The only other way to find this out would be to kill me, but then you risk killing an innocent. I think this would be a bad idea as I know I will continue to help our cause in the future, and if you kill me to try and sort thi out, then you will be getting rid of one more innocent citizen. By following my method, we will discover what sort of cop he is without any need for anybody to be killed; there are no risks involved. There is, of course, still the option that he could just be lying, but I find this unlikely for I don't think he would be stupid enough to risk his own life for the sake of getting rid of me, and innocent merchant. So, what do you think of that plan? As I see it, it is the only real way I can prove my innocence, and it will be beneficial to us all in the long run. If you decide to vote for me instead, then I am afraid that this will cause us to lose not one but two innocent people, as I will first die, and then you will probably go for the Inquisitor when you find out I am innocent. We need to avoid this, and my proposed method will easily prove that both me and the Inquisitor are innocent, as well as telling us a bit more about what our torturer's finds really mean. This, of course, all relies on the Inquisitor telling the truth, but I believe he is a good man, and so I see no reason why he would not.
-
Well that was unexpected. I know for a fact that I am a citizen, so I don't know where you got your information from. Something is not right here. This is looking bad for me, and all I can really do is tell you all that I am a citizen and have always been a citizen. Just look at what I have contributed so far. I persuaded you all to vote for Bernard when you were all intent on Pickerel, and then went on to condemn Cassandra yesterday. Does that look like the type of thing a heretic would do? If I were a heretic, why would I save the torturer, the one man that would be able to find me out? Most definitely I am a good man, not just because of my actions, but because I know it to be true. There is something not right here, and it needs to be sorted out. I know I am a good man, but none of you are likely to believe that now. I was indeed tortured last night by Inquisitor "Fernandez"and his "helpful assistant", but obviously something has not gone right for them. There are three options that I can readily see here. 1. The torture was so violent that no matter who is questioned they will always plead guilty. (Basically this would mean that the torturer is a "Paranoid Cop", someone who always sees the person as being guilty. This would mean that we just got lucky with Bernard. The Inquisitor appears to think this might be a possible option as well, from what he said). 2. The Inquisitor found me innocent but decided to lie. I do not understand why he would do this however, because as soon as I am convicted he will come under scrutiny as I would be revealed to be an innocent citizen. 3. During the night the Inquisitor was turned to the dark side, and is now a heretic himself. I find this unlikely as well however, due to the reasoning in option 2. So, from what I can see, it appears that the Inquisitor is a Paranoid man who thinks everyone is guilty, no matter what. I don't see any way I can prove this to any of you, but I hope that you can trust me from my previous work against the witches. I have been as open with you as I can, I don't see what more I can do to prove my innocence. If you have any questions for me, then please, feel free to ask away. Hopefully you will all not all look at this at face value, but will see it for the lie it is. Clearly the witches have done some evil to influence this. I am at a lose, as I for one can see that the Inquisitor is lying. I was and still am convinced that he is a good man, so I believe that he is lying from a false information, not because he wants too. I only hope this can be resolved without a need for you to condemn me, but at the moment I cannot really see any other way to prove my innocence. Please do not follow this blindly, but consider it carefully. My advice has been useful in the past, I hope you still value it and want to keep me around to help find these last few remaining witches. I am an innocent man, and I feel that I will be useful to you in the coming days against the witches.

Hey, what are you all doing up so late? It's nearly midnight! Go to bed, all of you. Although I think I might have some marshmallows somewhere around here...

The Many Adventures of the Whacker and the Walrus #7
Dragonator replied to Hinckley's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
Ah, now the cake on Ras's head just takes the cake, if you get what I mean! I just find tat last panel highly amusing. Great job Hinck, you really leave us waiting to see what happens next! Hey, I like it when Hinckley gets beaten up. Oh OK, I guess he can get some payback every now and then... Keep them coming, your doing very well. Three whole weeks according to schedule, it must be a new record. -
Hey, that's really neat. I'm sure there are plenty of ways this could be used in customization. Nice discovery. I'm of course not one for cutting Lego pieces, but if somebody else wants to then it would be interesting to see what it would look like.
-
Indeed, I used some elven spears as pikes, as well as a Dragon Sword and one of their black shields. So yes, definitely aloud.
-
Now you've got to admit, that is pretty creepy. I sure would like an 8ft minifig to wash up on a beach near me! It wouldn't stay there for long.
-
Ah yes, my apologies. Silly me. It's getting late, I am very tired after all these long talks. Anyway, in that case, I would like to put my question to the Father instead.
-
You may recall that he himself voted for her as well, so things can't have been all that good between them recently. Personally, I think it's because of the fish tacos.
-
You do make a good point Charles, and it brings up something I asked our Inquisitor a while ago; how are we going to find out his allegiance from who he kills? I would like this plan explained to me a bit more before we even think of trying to find someone for him to kill. To tell you the truth though, it does make me a bit nervous trying to tell a man who he should kill at night. I mean, it's murder after all. Still, I am quite happy to leave this up to him, and we can see what happens in the morning. Perhaps he knows something we don't and will get a witch tonight. It is still a little disconcerting that one of us is going to be attempting to kill someone tonight, and that he will probably be guessing. Ah well, I think we have done everything we can today. Let us head for our beds and see what the new day brings...
-
You may be indecisive, but once I have something clear in my head, I am not. I will cast the condemning vote. Vote: Cassandra (Bob the Construction Man) I certainly hope we are right, and have not fallen into some heretic trap. There is certainly less evidence against Cassandra than there was against Bernard, however I do feel that we are doing the right thing with what we know. There are a number of points of evidence counting against her, and she has not said anything much of any use that would persuade me otherwise. Ifwe are wrong, then may God have mercy on her sole, however I am, if not as confident as yesterday, still happy that we have made the right choice. Let us hope for the best, but of course, plan for the worst. Now that we have convicted Cassandra, we have one other matter still to consider, and that is Miguel. It is obvious he is going to try and kill someone tonight, the question is, who? If we follow the Inquisitors plan, then we should be able to at least confirm Miguel's allegiance. So, what do the rest of you think we should do about this situation?
-
Oh right, that. I didn't quite get what he was going on about at first. It's great to hear what you have to say, but I think that most of the players (and the host) would prefer it if discussion of tactics and voting etc did not happen outside the game thread. It is not fair if you try to change people's voting decisions out of the game thread, as it is like a third party interference if you get what I mean. Feel free to express your opinions in the game thread though, that's what it's meant for
-
Um, what? It's only a game man...
-
Very nicely done as always Hinckley, this looks great! Now, for my criticism... Where is the duplo block? Without it I'm sorry to say we shall have to have your entry disqualified. Um.... yeah that's about it. There's to much to like about this MOC, I can't find anything else to criticise. How annoying... The tavern and the inn are both really nicely done, even if they are only façades. You used some neat designs on them, I really like them! The pirate ship is also very cool. Fantastic job, I'm glad your not in the main competition, other wise I might not even consider trying to enter!
-
Well it looks like the voting has started, so it is time we started looking at what has been said to hopefully come to a decision. Here is my summary. At the moment, we have three people of major suspicion, John, Cassandra, and Sabrina. This is because of them being in my stall at the same time as suspicious items were bought. Of the three, Sabrina has in no way attempted to defend herself against the accusations made against her, although it is likely she may start talking in the near future. Cassandra has said a lot about nothing, and appears to be confused. This however is not condemning evidence, but then, it could be that she was doing this to try and distract us from our investigations, in which case it could be used against her. Then we have John. I am undecided about John. On the one hand I cannot in truth see anything that points to him being a heretic, but yet... there is something there, in the way he has reacted to a few things. He is doing everything a normal citizen would do in the circumstance, which is surprisingly why I find him so suspicious; it appears to be the sort of thing a witch would do to try and fit in. But I am not certain, so until we have more on him, I am hesitant to push any further with this line of thought. After these three, we have a couple more people. Miguel of course has been offered a chance to prove his loyalty tonight. Then we have Henry, who has as yet neither confirmed nor denied accusations against him to be the role blocker and a possible heretic. Also, there are suspicions rising against some others that I have see, but they are not so important at the moment. Of these people, I think we are probably heading in the right direction in terms of voting for one of our top three suspects. I myself would like to hold my vote for the moment, as I would first like to see if Sabrina has anything to say in her defence. If she is not forthcoming with any sort of defence, then my vote will go to her. I think it is a bit risky, as we do not have any real evidence against her, however if she will not help us further our cause, then it is best to be rid of her. You never know, we might catch her out as another heretic. That leaves the other two, John and Cassandra. What are your thoughts on how we should proceed after this, if I may ask you all?
-
Now this is an interesting theory, and it would be even more interesting if it turns out to be correct. If this is the case, then we could find some good clues as to who is up to no good at night... As unfortunate as it might be, this may end up being the only logical thing to do, although I don't like the risk we would be taking. Still, better to do something than nothing I guess. As Cassandra is here, I would like to hear a bit more from her before making any decisions. I find it suspicious that she looked at all he paintings without even making any useful comments, possibly to try and distract us? I don't know, but there is something not right going on with that woman. As for Sabrina, if she's not going to help in our investigation, then I guess we may as well get rid of her. You never know, we might get lucky, and it gives Miguel a chance to prove that he is telling the truth about himself. Then again, I don't see how killing someone will prove he is a citizen. Inquisitor, could you please explain your plan again, I don't quite understand. As far as I know, she did not spend the night at my house, I was alone. That's what I remember, and God hasn't told me otherwise. She did keep trying to convince me to take her home though, perhaps she was plotting something, I really haven't a clue. It could be important, but then, we haven't heard from her in 2 days, so I don't know what to think. Now, we have seen some interesting developments today. It is good that we are looking at this clue we got in day 1, and I think we might be getting somewhere with it. Cassandra hasn't done to well so far on standing up to the question, however Sabrina hasn't confirmed nor denied any of the accusations yet, so I don't really know where to go with this. I'm also undecided about John. He appears good, but we should look into things a little more I think. As we learnt yesterday, people can appear to be innocent even after they have been condemned, but it could easily all be a deception. We have done well so far, let us try not to make any mistakes now. Let us learn as much as possible before we come to a decision.
