Goodness, what an amazing little set! I love Prince of Persia! This is really neat, thanks for doing this review Ricecracker. So many interesting new parts to look at. I'm really happy with how the ostriches look, by the sounds of it they are pretty nice despite a slightly malleable head (it's the same plastic as the Kit Fisto head and ones like that, yes?). I'm really excited about these new 2x2 jumper plates, lots of possibility there, and the new whip piece is probably a bit more useful than the old one really. That new colour is interesting, I can't say I'm sold on it yet, I guess I'll have to get hold of it first before I pass any judgments. The new minifigs look fantastic, continuing that trend of printing both sides, some lovely new prints and headgear there. But I am most excited about this double katana holder, that looks wicked and I can't wait to get one! It's probably one of my favourite parts of the set, and as I obviously haven't been paying enough attention, I hadn't heard of it before this review, so that came as a very pleasant surprise. Overall the set looks good, a definite buy for me. Good job Ricecracker on a splendid and informative review.

Oh for the love of sausages... I can't help it, I just had something else rammed somewhere I do not wish to disclose. So, err, I'll stick the second torch in the left hand of the statue on the right, and then follow through as stated before. OK? Is that enough now!? Because if not I'm going to scream. Err, in a manly way, of course.

Imperial Soldier's Mafia: Day 5
Dragonator replied to Scouty's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
For me personally, there isn't much more to think about. The last two days, Pvt. Perot has been constantly turning you all against me despite my innocence. I know I'm loyal, so to me there is really only on course of action. At first I was willing to consider that Perot may be paranoid, but the amount of energy he has thrown into his accusations against me in particular makes me think that the more likely motive is that he is a scheming deserter, looking to use me as a distraction while the real killer is out murdering us in our sleep. Why else would I not have been convicted yet, or killed at night for that matter? Pvt. Perot, it is time we learnt the truth behind your deceptions, and convicted you of plotting desertion. The procrastination stops here, it is time to act people. Vote: Pvt. Tom Perot (TinyPiesRUs) I am certain I am right in this vote; my life hangs in the balance as well, after all. It's time to put a stop to our false investigator once and for all. -
Don't mind her, she's still a little confused after the fall. I would like to take the torches and put one torch in left hand of the statue on the left, and the other torch in the left hand of the statue on the left. Then, I shall make sure the centre statue has his swords locked into the crossed position, and watch as something amazing and magical happens. If nothing happens, I'll switch the torch that the right statue is holding from its left hand to its right hand, and then watch again as something magical happens. If again nothing happens, then I will curse loudly and seek comfort in the arms of Sheldon my wife.

Imperial Soldier's Mafia: Day 5
Dragonator replied to Scouty's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Not two in one night, that's a real blow to us from the deserters. I'll miss Ian, he was a good man, as was Pvt. Rames. May they both rest in peace. Gentlemen, we need to act today, and we need to act by getting rid of a deserter. We've spent the last two days wasting valuable time while the deserters continue to pick us off one by one, laughing at us as we all go down the wrong track and are sucked into their manipulative lies. I urge you all to not blindly start voting for me again, but to consider the wider picture and try and find the people who are really behind these murders, for otherwise we are truly doomed. Our numbers are already thinning, and voting a loyal soldier off just to test whether another soldier is telling the truth is unreasonable and will simply waste time and lives we cannot spare. I want to serve this regiment just like the rest of you, and it saddens me to think that by condemning me you will be letting the true culprits get away with their crimes. Two whole days we have wasted, with nothing but the deaths of innocent soldiers to show for it. All because we have, as a group, focused entirely on one line of investigation, and been blinded to the scheming deeds happening behind our backs. The deserters are getting this easy, and it is because we are all turning on ourselves. Don't make the same mistake countless people have made before us; consider the whole situation, and then perhaps the real culprits will begin to come clear in our heads. Ignore me if you will, and continue to vote irrationally without thought to the consequences; you'll only have yourselves to blame when I'm declared loyal. -
If the fountains aren't too heavy, I would like to try shifting one to the side or lifting one, perhaps with the help of another strong, muscular male like me. Perhaps we will find a compartment of some sort underneath?

Imperial Soldier's Mafia: Day 4
Dragonator replied to Scouty's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Gentlemen, please, stop a moment and let us try and think this out. I'm overjoyed that nobody died last night, it shows that we, the honoured, at least managed to do something right then, but don't now negate this victory by voting off a fellow loyal soldier. I am shocked and confused by Pvt. Perot's claims and the accusations he has aimed at me, as I know that at least in regards to myself there is no truth in them at all. I'm most certainly no night killer, but of course, you only have my word for that. Just like the only "evidence" against me is the word of Pvt. Perot. Firstly, since I know I'm loyal I can tell at a glance that what he is saying is wrong, but secondly, his supposed investigations just don't add up in my eye. I mean, two deserters found on the first two nights, and one of them coincidentally confirmed as the killer at that? It seems unlikely from the start, and when I look at this with the knowledge that I myself am innocent of the proposed charges, I can only conclude that either Pvt. Perot is purposefully trying to mislead us or, far more likely in my eye, considering the huge risk to him when I turn out to be loyal upon conviction, he is somewhat paranoid in his investigations, or some other third party has tampered with the result here. For example, it is entirely possible that I was framed on night two, leading to the incorrect conclusion Pvt. Perot has presented. There is something not right here, and I urge you all to rethink your votes, for you will only be losing another loyal honoured soldier and taking yourselves a step closer to destruction at the hands of the deserters. -
Is this really the end? Is Sylvia a no-good thief like Sheldon believes? Is that statue looking at a segment of wall that might be able to be moved if pushed? Are the wall panels firmly attached? Do I look heroic in this stance with my sword like so? Should Diesel get involved in the dilemma over there or go look at more of the walls? Find out all this and more in the next exciting installment of Survivor: Temple Edition. What's that? Oh right, so we're in the library, yes? Diesel goes to take a look at where the central statue is peering/kicking to see if there is anything of interest to be found, and then walks over and moves the arms of the left statue up and down in a vigorous manner, after checking the wall panels for any sign of movement. Err, not to interrupt or anything, but was that some creepy cultist dude peering in at us just a few moments ago, Sylvia? Why am I getting this strange sensation that the longer we stay here, the more of us are going to die/never leave? Diesel raises his sword defensively while looking around with paranoid eyes. Stay close DJ, things could get ugly...

Imperial Soldier's Mafia: Day 3
Dragonator replied to Scouty's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Well, I'm back from boarder patrol now, so let's see if I can answer a few of your concerns. I am greatly surprised by what Samuel has revealed to us; I can't speak for the Sergeant but I know I am a loyal soldier and would never think of deserting this fine regiment! We are here to fight not just for our country, but to protect our families and our homes from the barbarians who have been assailing us, and to me, that is the most noble cause a man can dedicate himself to. I am just as eager to find and get rid of these trouble makers as the rest of you honourable soldiers. I can't really see why someone would be pointing fingers at me, I mean, I don't even have a night action, so I'm no threat to the deserters in that regard. Two possible reasons behind this strange information present themselves to me. Firstly, perhaps this anonymous investigator has some sort of mental or paranoid trait which gives him false, opposite or random investigation results. The other option that comes to mind is that either Samuel or the person feeding this information to Samuel is lying to us; I just can't think of anything else that would explain this so called investigation result as being false, which it is. For all I know, the Sergeant could be a plotting deserter, however since I know that the result about me is false, I am not inclined to be swayed either way by the 'result' for him on night one. The fact he has claimed to be an investigator as well also adds another twist to this strange problem, as I can't believe that we would have 2 sane investigators. What say the rest of you on this? I've told you what I can, which isn't much unfortunately, looks like it is Samuel's turn to try and make sense of this mess. I think one question you need to ask yourself Samuel, is whether this "investigator" who approached you is trustworthy, and if they are, whether they are confident in the correctness of their results. You are putting yourself at tremendous risk by speaking for this person who I know is definitely misguided, whether through sinister means or innocent ignorance, so you need to assess whether it is really worth it for yourself. I hope someone can shed some light on this soon, for it has me greatly confused and somewhat scared for my safety that some anonymous person is trying to set me up as a deserter when I'm not. -
Imperial Soldier's Mafia: Day 2
Dragonator replied to Scouty's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
You are right, my mistake. To be honest, I'm not overly suspicious of him, I believe at the moment that he was just trying to get the ball rolling so that we don't sit around doing nothing today, so that's fine. His argument was consistent, yet not forceful, more inquisitive I guess. In terms of the vote today, I've looked over what you've all been saying again, and I have to agree that you, Private Gale, seem the most suspicious to me at this point. Your accusations of the Provost Guards and then your ever changing stance and lack of evidence has me thinking that rather than trying to help us by looking for possible targets today, you are instead subtly trying to dupe us into voting off a loyal soldier. Well, I'm afraid you haven't been subtle enough, and so I am going to Vote: Private Dan Gale (def). This is a risk, and I may very well be wrong, but looking at what we know and the possible suspects we have had brought forward today, it is my opinion that you sir are our safest bet for a plotting deserter. -
Imperial Soldier's Mafia: Day 2

Since we're camping here for a while, those latrines need re-digging at some point, that was a horrid experience. People, as some of you have noted, we are running out of time, and a decision must be made. I've been trying to follow the conversation while surviving the stench of the latrines, and I must say that I don't honestly have a clue who to vote for. The Lieutenant seems awfully keen to put together a case against Alain, however this looks more like enthusiasm and a desire to get something done than a cleverly crafted lie to me. However, I'm not convinced that Alain is guilty either, and I see many of you agree, so that leaves us again with no lead. Let me think on this a bit more, I need to try and make sense of what has been said so far... -
Opps, uh, sorry. You know you liked it...

Hang on a moment, why would there be a barred door behind a blocked up wall? Sounds a bit suspicious to me, like something was locked in there for a reason or something... Diesel walks over to stand near Sheldon, who is examining the door, and peers past him to see what he can see beyond the bars. Anything interesting back there? Also, is there anything of interest I might note about the bars themselves?

New Zealand: "Where to find Lego"
Dragonator replied to Legoman's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
From the information I have received from my local Toyworld owner (who is also an AFOL), Toyworld will be getting in the 10197 Fire Brigade, 10210 Imperial Flagship and 10211 Grand Emporium sets around July, in limited numbers as per usual with the exclusives they get. All three sets are meant to be priced at $300NZD. -
It sure sounds exciting, at least, if somewhat dangerous... let's try the gun idea first, then if all else fails, knocking over the pillars could provide some entertainment while we wait to move into the library.

Do I see a crown? This is getting nuts, let's get out of this room before that thing on the roof jumps on us all.

Imperial Soldier's Mafia: Day 2
Dragonator replied to Scouty's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Good lord preserve us, if this maniac killer is willing to attack our captain, then none of us can sleep safe at night! Something must be done, we need to make a conviction today, as the Provost General said. What information do we have that could help us? Has anyone made any observations etc that might be clues to helping us convict the plotting deserters amongst us? This is all very stressful, I could do with a comforting sausage right now. Michel, are serving up soon? -
Hmmm, how very strange indeed. I'd like to go over to the east wall with Sheldon and make sure nothing jumps out to eat him; I'll stand ready with my sword just in case. Perhaps we could try pushing the wall once we have made sure that there are no obvious threats? Once we have done this, we shall proceed to the library, looks like we're easily distracted.

Right, so now that all the drama with people falling from things and getting killed is over, what do we do now? W=It looks like we have several things that we need to figure out before we can get off this godforsaken island, so on that note, I vote we take a look in the library to see what is in there. Seems like the sort of place we could find out more about these weird statues, since our guide isn't as knowledgeable as the brochure boasted. I'm not keen on separating from the group, we don't know what sinister things are lurking around here, and there is no way I am leaving my wife anywhere. She needs me and my hulking great sword to protect her. So, what do the rest of you say? I would also like to try and find out about this crown Sylvia mentioned seeing, that seems like it could be important. Is there perhaps a tomb somewhere around here? That could be troublesome.

Imperial Soldier's Mafia: Day 1
Dragonator replied to Scouty's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
This just got very, very serious, I can't survive without your sausage in the morning. We need to solve this riddle quickly, so that Michel can continue to cook up his amazing morning energizers for us. The problem is, we don't really have any way to find the killer right now, with no evidence to go on. Looks like I'll just have to go try and go without my sausages until we can solve this... -
*Dragonator throws confetti* Happy Birthday Fangy! I hope you had a great day and got everything you wanted and more! Take a breather, and if you need me, you know where I am. Party on!

Imperial Soldier's Mafia: Day 1
Dragonator replied to Scouty's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Deserters, in our regiment? Oh the shame! how grim! We must deal to them as quickly and efficiently as possible, we won't win the war later on if the regiment is torn apart from the inside out. I find it disgusting that some people have so little loyalty to their country, to their families, that they would desert the noble cause of the war. This murder is very disturbing, I wonder who is responsible? It is a scary thought that someone within our own ranks would turn on a fellow soldier in such a brutally violent fashion. -
Imperial Soldier's Mafia: Day 1

Morning everyone, what a lovely day it is! I understand we have some deserters to root out, yes? Messy business, but it needs to be done so we can triumph in the coming battles. Did someone say breakfast? I would love some sausage!
